After leaving university, I applied for a job in the engineering sector, this is what I studied for.

It was a kind of assistant position, specifically for graduates.

 

The company offered me a place, because I ticked all the boxes.

 

I sent my letter of acceptance, hoping that they would find something unexpected, waiting for them to say, "we made a mistake" or "you’re not who we expected".

 

That never happened.
