Chapter 104: Oops, Do We Need To Call The Ambulance?

Xia Sha deliberately chooses a cafe in their building are for convenience's sake. So they end up walking together since they have the same meeting after lunch. 

Xiao Zhan wears a bright smile as they walk from the cafe to the company. Every time she replies to him, his heart would felt with gratitude. There is still distance between them, and he tried to accept that it won't be easy for their relationship to return as it was before the whole disaster.

He was more than content that she had given him a chance to fix their relationship. 

He doesn't realize Xia Sha felt the same relief after sorting things out with him. At least now she knew Xiao Zhan didn't play a part in the coup his family planned. Although it means she needs another plan to thwart the Xiao's family scheme. 

They arrived at the company after walking for five minutes. Xia Sha greets the security and walks to the lift as usual. She didn't spare a glance at a middle-aged woman, who seems to be the attention of the crowd now. 

"XIA SHA! STAY THERE! DON'T WALK AWAY YOU B*TCH!" 

The thunderous scream vibrated throughout the company's lobby. Xia Sha turns her body and finds a woman wearing over the top branded clothes woman storming into her way. She is raising her hand furiously as she approached Xia Sha. 

"Aunty Ling?" 

Surprised by that woman's sudden appearance, Xia Sha froze on the ground even though she knew that the madwoman is about to hit her. 

"PLAK!" 

The middle-aged woman sure uses all of her strength to hit her. Everyone in the lobby gasped when they heard the sound she created. 

"What the f*ck? Who are you?" 

Xiao Zhan's angry voice seems to be playing in the background as he pulled her wrist and hide her behind his big body. Xia Sha's eyes stayed on the cold ground as she slowly recovers from her shock. 

There lay her Prada Galleria Saffiano Tote, her favorite work bag. 

She slowly moves her gaze from her bag to the furious woman. She is screaming to the security that holds her hand and paralyzed her movement. Furrowing her eyebrow, she steps aside from Xiao Zhan's body and faces the demon herself. 

"LET ME GO! LET ME SLAP THAT B*TCH! HOW DARE SHE DODGE AFTER WHAT SHE DONE TO MY SON!" She screamed and struggled to free herself from the security. 

"Did you need something from me, Mrs. Ling? I suggest you give me a reason behind your attempt to slap me. It's a personal attack, and I'm very sure my lawyer will working overtime tonight to put you behind the bar tomorrow morning." 

Xia Sha look at her coldly, provoked the anger that had culminated in Aunt Ling's chest. She is frigid as frost. 

"You dare? After the trouble you've caused for my son, you dare to sue me? Do you think I am afraid of your threat? HAHAHAHA!" 

Aunty Ling is laughing like a lunatic. She makes some people in the lobby shivers out of the creepiness she emit. Xiao Zhan frowned and tried to pull Xia Sha to his back for the second time, but she avoids his hand by folding it on her chest. 

"Hah, I caused trouble for your son? Mrs. Ling, I advise you not to say something you don't understand, or I can sue you for slander." 

"You break his heart! You ruined his company! You even want to put him behind the bar! How could you treat my son like this? He genuinely loves you!" Mrs. Ling shouted before eventually broke down into tears. 

Xia Sha is stunned when she sees Mrs.Ling slumped to the floor and sobbed. She looks at the security and gives them the order to help her stand. 

"Mrs. Ling, I've given the authorities to handle these matters. I could guarantee you there are no personal feelings involved when they-"

"MOM!" 

Xia Sha closes her eyelids when that familiar voice cut her sentence. She tried to be patient and waited for that man to approach his mother. 

"Mom, what are you doing here? Let's go back." 

That voice belongs to Mrs.Ling's son, Ling Guang. He looks thinner with a big eye bag under his used to be bright eyes. Xia Sha averted her gaze. Somehow she didn't want to stay any longer in this lobby after his appearance. 

"No! I'll stay here until everybody knew the truth and she gives us justice! Xia Sha, give me back my son's company!" 

Mrs.Ling sure is stubborn. She refuses to stand up even when Ling Guang has tried to pull her. Ling Guang felt uncomfortable with all the ridicule gaze directed at him. 

He has come to Xia Sha's den, and he accidentally quite famous in Xia corporation after his debut on national news for plagiarism. Realizing the pressure from the crowd, he begged his mother to leave this place even more. 

"Mom, please, come home with me. I'll be fine. Xia Sha didn't do anything to harm me. It's all my faults." 

"Ling Guang, you fool! You still try to defend that sl*t after what she has done to you. Huhuhu, my pitiful boy," she wailed for everyone to hear. 

"Alright, now get up," Ling Guang tried to coax his mother.

Xia Sha watched the scene and felt she couldn't tolerate staying any longer. She walked in Mrs. Ling's direction with her usual cold face. 

Everyone is surprised that their COO would coax the lunatic aunty or maybe slap her back? 

But both Ling Guang and Xiao Zhan knew Xia Sha would never hit an elder. Xiao Zhan's face turns somber while a faint smile appears on Ling Guang's face before regret starts to consume his heart. 

Ling Guang, what have you done to your life? How could you waste such a good woman like Xia Sha? You picked your pride and lost everything. Look at Xia Sha! After what you've done, she and her big heart still willing to help- 

Ling Guang's face darkened when he realized why Xia Sha walked in his direction. She indifferently walked past his mother and picked up her bag. She didn't even spare a glance at them as if they don't even exist. 

Help him to coax her mother? He must be kidding~

Nonetheless, despite being a little bit sorry for the pair of mother and son, everybody felt satisfied with Xia Sha's little payback. 

Mrs. Ling widens her eyes at Xia Sha's audacious act. Although she comes here to slap that sl*t she ends up feeling the hot stinging sensation on her cheek. 

She could not let this b*tch humiliate her and her son! 

When she see Xia Sha is living with Xiao Zhan trailing behind him, she quickly sobs and created another scene. 

"LOOK AT THE WOMAN YOU DEFEND! SHE CHEATED ON YOU WITH THAT MAN AFTER ROBBING YOUR MONEY. MY POOR SON, MOTHER FELT SORRY FOR YOU!"

Xia Sha stopped walking and turn her head to look back. She is about to say something when she sees Fu Qun's rushing figure approaching her hurriedly. 

She took a deep breath and asked Fu Qun to taken care of Mrs. Ling. She then continues her step. That is when Mrs. Ling panicked and gesture something at a girl hiding behind one of the walls near Xia Sha. She is wearing a cat mask to conceal her identity. 

The girl nods her head and strives toward Xia Sha with a bucket in her hand. 

"Die you b*tch!" she screams. 

That woman then threw the whole bucket that contained sticky red paint at Xia Sha. Xia Sha gasped when Xiao Zhan strives forward and covers her with his back. 

"Miss Xia! Watch out!" she heard Fu Qun's warning from behind. 

Her hand stayed on Xiao Zhan's chest while her brain proceeds with everything. Her chest rises and falls erratically as her eyes met Xiao Zhan's worried gaze. 

"Xia Sha! Are you okay? She didn't hurt you, right?" he asked. 

Xia Sha nods her head to reassure Xiao Zhan. She looked at Xiao Zhan's back, which was colored with spilled red paint that looks like a pool of blood. 

"What about you? are you alright?" she touched his back. 

Xiao Zhan nodded his head and ignored the pain in his back.

Xia Sha looks relief before she gets alerted for the second time because the cat-masked girl runs away from the scene. 

"DON'T YOU DARE RUN!" Xia Sha screams furiously. 

She took off her heels and aimed for the cat girl's head. Her heels flung high in the sky before it perfectly hit the back of the girl's head. The girl stops running because of the pain. 

"Ouch! Damn it!" she groaned when she sees Xia Sha is running toward her. She widens her eyes before she forces her leg to run. 

"Close the door!" Xia Sha ordered when the cat-masked girl almost reach the door. The security tried to move as fast as they could, but closing four big doors in a short time is not easy. 

Xia Sha cursed when the cat-masked girl reaches one of the doors. She prepared to be disappointed when a familiar scream filled the lobby, again. 

"AHHHHH!" 

She watched the cat-masked girl kissed the ground and a piece sign on the side. 

"Oops, do we need to call the ambulance?"
