Chapter 130: Who Is Yan Xi?

"WHAT?" Xia Sha squeals.

"WHAT?!" Zheng Shuang and Ruan Jing Tian's jaw dropped. 

"WHAT?!" The onlookers were confused. 

The whole bowling alley went quiet for five seconds. Kai Xin's hard was not that strong, so she eventually slumped to the floor. She has a deep frown on her beautiful face. It got deepen the longer Xia Sha frozen on the ground. 

Her waterwork skill starts to activate when Xia Sha hasn't moved and inched for another three-second. 

"HUAA! You promise me not to get mad!" she wipes her fake tears and looked at Xia Sha with her puppy eyes. 

Xia Sha only realized that she isn't dreaming when she watches tears falling out from Kai Xin's bright eyes. She collected herself and went forward to picked Kai Xin up. 

"You are pregnant. How could you hanging like a monkey," Xia Sha said in a worried tone, her eyebrow flinched. 

Ruan Jing Tian and Zheng Shuang forgot their bet almost immediately. They rushed toward Kai Xin and Xia Sha, still in disbelief. 

"Kai Xin, are you pranking on us?" Ruan Jing Tian got his forehead knocked by Zheng Shuang the next second. Zheng Shuang then took a seat next to Kai Xin, pulling her into her embrace. 

"It's okay, It's okay," Zheng Shuang tries to comfort Kai Xin. Kai Xin nods her head, holding back the tear that ready to fall whenever second. She keeps stealing a glance at Xia Sha, worry that Xia Sha will get angry at her. 

Xia Sha sees her expression, and her heart softens. But her headache got worsen. Ruan Jing Tian nudges Xia Sha's elbow, gesturing that she is supposed to comfort her best friend now. 

"You've overthought. I'm mostly shocked, but I'm not angry at you. Why are you crying?" Xia Sha stretched her hand and wiped the tears on Kai Xin's cheek with her thumb. 

"Hm, My niece would be sad if you cry. Don't cry again," Ruan Jing Tian spoke up.

Kai Xin shook her head and lowered her gaze. 

"I'm only- I don't know what to do. I don't know what to say. It's all-"

"Alright, Alright. It's okay to be confused. We will figure it out together. Don't cry again, okay?" Zheng Shuang patted Kai Xin's back. 

Kai Xin once again steals a glance at Xia Sha, as if she wants to confirm Zheng Shuang's word. Xia Sha took a deep breath and nodded her head. 

"Zheng Shuang is right. We will figure it out together. You calm down first. Does he knew?" Xia Sha indirectly asking about Shen Mu Qing, the father of the baby, she supposed. 

Kai Xin nodded weakly. She looked up to Xia Sha before mumbles, "I've told Yan Xi. He promised me that he would take the responsibility."

"YAN XI?" Zheng Shuang and Xia Sha yelled. They almost fall to the ground this time. Ruan Jing Tian seems like he just lost his soul.

"How tangled this problem could be," he mumbles while supporting his weakening knee. 

"What? How- I meant Why?" Xia Sha could not believe her ears. Kai Xin didn't dare to look up anymore. This time, even Zheng Shuang didn't know what to act. 

Yan Xi. This person is not as cute as She Mu Qing, who always has a crush on Kai Xin. Yan Xi is grandmother Xia's grandniece. He has a notorious reputation and famous for his feeling for Guan Xiao Ni. 

In Zheng Shuang's eyes, there is nothing good attached to Yan Xi. How can Yan Xi win against Shen Mu Qing's pure love? 

"When did you associate yourself with him?" Xia Sha didn't sound as calm as before. Her expression turns rigid while she rushes to grab the mineral bottle from Ruan Jing Tian's hand and finish it in one gulp. 

Kai Xin pressed her lips, almost as if she is ashamed to tell them the truth. 

"I was drunk..." she finally said because of the awkward air. 

"Then, what do you want to do with this baby?" Ruan Jing Tian said flatly. Kai Xin looked hurt by Ruan Jing Tian's question while Xia Sha frowned. 

"Ruan Jing Tian! What is wrong with you?" Kai Xin scowls at him.

Ruan Jing Tian looked at Xia Sha's disapprove face and Zheng Shuang's helpless glance. He clenched his fist and stood up from his seat.

Ruan Jing Tian's voice filled with anger as he scoffed and averted his gaze. He can't speak the truth if he keeps looking at Kai Xin's pitiful states. 

Kai Xin looks distressed. But she did not cry or even said something to defend Yan Xi. Naturally, this meant she already knew about this matter and accepted it!

Xia Sha almost choked to death when she heard Ruan Jing Tian's avowal and saw Kai Xin's helpless face. The blood that runs through her vein boil to the degree where she started to shivers. 

"You, asked him, where is he right now," Xia Sha tried to surpass her anger by gritting her teeth. 

Kai Xin grabbed Xia Sha's hand and shook her head frantically. Her eyebrow dropped as if she is a sad puppy. Xia Sha sighed and sucked her lips and closed her eyelids. 

"Kai Xin, this man is bastard. Since you are planning to raise the child, we need to guarantee he will be as responsible as his words."

Kai Xin still shook her head frantically. 

"Kai Xin, let Xia Sha talk to Yan Xi," Zheng Shuang persuade gently. 

"What to talk about. The child has me. He or she doesn't need that kind of father. I will be their father!" Ruan Jing Tian said seriously. His usual kind and friendly nature have disappeared along with his patience. 

"Stop saying nonsense!" Zheng Shuang snapped at Ruan Jing Tian with a furious glare. 

"My word might leave a deep cut, but I'm not saying nonsense. Kai Xin is my best friend, and it's not like we bear to watch her go through an abortion!" 

"That is not your decision to make!" Zheng Shuang yelled back. 

It's hard to keep a cool head when the situation has heated up like this. They could felt people's gaze fall on their back as a low bee voice starts to get loud. Xia Sha's ignore the nosy people and look at Kai Xin. She tried to be as gentle as possible, hoping it would knock the door to her heart. 

"I won't do anything to him. I only want to talk and make sure he will be 'proper' in the future," Xia Sha said. 

"But-" Kai Xin hesitate. 

"Kai Xin, when you warned me about Ling Guang, I didn't listen. Look at my failure and don't repeat it, okay? My heartache for you if you suffer," Xia Sha touched Kai Xin's silky hair as she persuaded Kai Xin to call Yan Xi. 

Kai Xin was stunned when Xia Sha mentions Ling Guang. In the past, she was the strictest to Xia Sha. She didn't want Xia Sha to waste her time with Ling Guang, causing their friendship to breaking for a moment. 

Now, it's her turn to stand in Xia Sha's shoes. How will she choose to react? If her friend left her right now, she doesn't think she could carry on with this baby on her stomach. 

In the end, Xia Sha succeeds in persuading Kai Xin to call Yan Xi. Wasting no time, Xia Sha and Ruan Jing Tian went to Yan Xi's apartment while Zheng Shuang accompanies Kai Xin to rest. 

"When we get there, I'll hold him down. You beat him up," Ruan Jing Tian said with a scornful face. Ruan Jing Tian secretly cursing the elevator for moving too slow. His hand was itching to ruined somebody's face.

Xia Sha raised her eyebrow. Instead of responding to his order, she tilted her head and asked a question related to another topic instead.

"I'm surprised. You sincerely willing to be the father?"

Ruan Jing Tian pressed his lips into a tight line. He still looks ferocious with his angry appearance. 

"Now or later, I will be. Who is Yan Xi? There is not a chance he could be as responsible as his sweet lying mouth. How can I let my niece grow up fatherless? Worst come to worse, I'll marry Kai Xin."

Xia Sha was surprised when she saw the determination on Ruan Jing Tian's face. Thirteen years of their friendship, she only sees him this serious once or twice. It's when his friend got into trouble. 

Xia Sha knew, despite his unreliable and childish images, Ruan Jing Tian is a loyal friend. But she never thought he would go this far for his friend. 

This realization makes her felt suffocated inside. Looking back to the things the fourth of them has gone through, she could spot herself as the most selfish. She always full of self-righteousness and even felt superior in the early period. 

She felt awful. 

But it might be a good thing to felt awful right now. The more awful Xia Sha felt the more strength she got from her anger.. When she saw the barechested Yan Xi on the bed with a two young woman in his bed, He was bound to be dead in Xia Sha's hand.
