Guan Xian shot his little sister a confused face when Wang Kai appears beside Xiao Ni. 

"She meant she almost got fooled by those cheap tricks." Wang Kai explained with his cold face. He is slightly glancing at the balcony. 

"That yellow-poisoned frog is asking for death today. No wonder she suddenly has the guts to offer us a drink. Turn out she wanted to do unspeakable things to you!" Xiao Ni glare at Wang Kai with eyes full of hatred. 

Wang Kai's shoulder slumped down with aggrieved looks. They just made up after he cheats on her, IN HER DREAM. Now this stupid accident happens, he didn't know what else should he do to coax her.

"Stay here. It's almost time for Jian Jun's announcement." Wang Kai said with her deep voice as he pulls Xiao Ni to sit on the newly arranged chair. Xiao Ni huffed but obeying his words. 

Not far behind Xiao Ni and Wang Kai, Guan Xian is once again facing Xiao Zhan's frown as he tried to steal Xia Sha for the third time tonight. 

"Sigh, Xiao family's child. Give up already. You have missed your chance." Guan Xian's voice is a mixture of arrogant, tired, and bragging tone all into one. 

"Senior, your family's mighty seat is there, in front of us. Our seat is here, behind you. So with all due respect, please," Xiao Zhan trying to repel Guan Xian back to his seat. 

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that. I'm not going to steal your seat," Guan Xian said with a friendly smile but pressuring words.

"Oh, then why are you here, senior? Don't tell me you wanted to honor our humble table with your presence." Xiao Zhan did not give up on stopping Guan Xian from stealing Xia Sha away, again. 

Guan Xian chuckles and glances at Xiao Zhan. "You are funny," he said with unkind smiles. 

Xia Sha could feel the thick atmosphere these two men start emitting. Her lips twitched when both of them eyeing her with a meaningful look. 

'You've agreed to be with me. We are together now! Don't you dare to stay with this stinky boy!' Guan Xian glared at her with a forceful smile. 

"Xia Sha, you come here as my date. I will destroy your project if you leave me alone here' Xiao Zhan's visible frown and bulging eyes are practically screaming at her. 

Xia Sha scoffed and shook her head towards both of them. "You two can sit together. I'm going with my friend there."

However, there is still a silent war going between Guan Xian and Xiao Zhan throughout the event. 

Guan Xian finds Ji Cun Xi is sitting next to him with a chilly aura around him. Feeling slightly guilty, he decides to talk to him first. 

"Apology accepted, Bro." It is Guan Xian's way of apologizing to his brother. 

When Ji Cun Xi heard this, a grin broke out on his expressionless face. Guan Xian pulls him into a brotherly hug immediately. 

"Don't hug me, you moron." Cun Xi punched his shoulder. They laughed after that, leaving people near them in wonder. Guan Xian and Ji Cun Xi share the same understanding and ignore people's gaze on them. 

The event finally continued when the emcee appears and invites Jian Jun as the host to has his moment on the stages. Everyone welcome him with a round of applause.

Jian Jun nod and immediately starts his speech. The usual thank you for coming and appreciating everyone involved in today's event has been carried out, and finally, they come to what everyone is waiting tonight.

Xia Sha listens to every word Jian Jun said carefully. She just knew something is about to happen when Guan Xian whisper those words to her ears.

"Damn, they make people choose sides when they actually on one side this whole time," Kai Xin shook her head while clapping her hand. 

"What do you know about politics? Do you think they are on one side just because Young Master Jian choose to run for mayor?" Kai Xin's father looks calmer than the rest of the people. 

"But-" Kai Xin pointed at Jian Jun and said in low voices. "He will definitely win the election. He will be on the government side eventually."

"You silly goose! Why do you think Young Master Jian will definitely win the election?" Kai Xin's father pressed his lips into a thin line. 

"Because he is the perfect candidate. People will love him! Just look at his face, he will at least win all the votes from those who just got their identity card." Kai Xin got a gently knocked at her forehead for her 

inconsequential answers. 

"Handsome is all you know! Xia Sha, tell your friend why Jian Jun will definitely win the election." Father Kai seems to lose hope in teaching his daughter a lesson.
