December 26, 2020, 21:26 (China Standard Time 20:26), 60 kilometers northeast of Beijing Province, China
The four Epirus missiles launched by the KS-AD Zeus 1 satellite moved toward their targeted coordinates and exploded one kilometer above the atmosphere. The explosion sent out a powerful shockwave across the area along with a loud sound.
The first round exploded around the Sun-yi Province’s atmosphere in the suburb of Beijing, while the three other Epirus missiles exploded in the northeast area 15 kilometers away from Beijing. The area where the Epirus missiles exploded was the route where the Korean transport planes were about to take.
The entire northeastern part of Beijing blacked out after the SEMP waves spread across the atmosphere. The radar and equipment of the anti-air artillery forces stationed across the city lost their power and the equipment, rendered useless.
Twenty minutes later, the Korean transport planes—24 escorting KF/A-25P black phoenix jets from the Shin Ui-ju fighter wing and 24 KF-21P phoenix fighter jets from Sun-an 8th Fighter Wing—flew into the area. The jets dropped their plasma cluster bombs and EMP rounds. The two different kinds of shells fell down on their targets after gliding across the air and exploding at their mark. Most of the targets were the anti-air cannons, radar bases, and weapons caches on building rooftops.
The Beijing area had gone pitch black from the shockwave and was only lit up by flames coming from the explosions. After the first round of attacks, the Korean jets, the Epirus missiles dropped down at Mach 1.2. The Epirus missiles’ shockwaves traveled across the entire suburb of Beijing. The transport planes’ hatches opened and 10,000 aerial and land forces soldiers descended toward the surface.
In an instant, the entire northeastern Beijing skies were blackened by the descending black parachutes of the aerial and land forces. Some of the Chinese soldiers fired their firearms and anti-air rounds toward the descending men, but since the sky was pitch black, it was hard to shoot down a moving target.
The entire Beijing area had seemingly returned to the prehistoric era since their communication equipment, radars, and anti-air weapons all became useless. The Beijing defensive division that was supposed to protect the inner city had been deployed to the eastern front under orders of President Xi. Only 20,000 soldiers were guarding the Beijing area.
Woosh~ pat pat pat pat!
The aerial and land forces soldiers had landed and gathered to the locations showing up on their digital equipment. They began a guerilla operation in units of platoons. The special forces veterans who had an average experience of seven years excelled in performance. The latest high-tech equipment had increased their capabilities beyond imagination.
Due to the equipment that showed each man where to go like a GPS, each unit moving in the size of platoons successfully blew up every target, facility, fuel tanks, ammo supplies, official buildings, and police buildings. They had achieved 120 percent of their allotted targets.
Boom! Pew pew pew pew~
The citizens of Beijing were under extreme terror from the continued gunshots and explosions. They hid inside the buildings to avoid the crossfires. They knew the Chinese military was losing against the Korean forces, but the citizens of Beijing did not want the enemy to reach China’s capital and turn it into a battlefield. Beijing’s citizens were once again under the fear of war after the previous SEMP attack from Korea.
The 1st Aerial Battalion under the Korean Army’s 38th Aerial Brigade was tasked with an important mission. They were tasked with infiltrating the X-2 bunker the Chinese Commanders and leaders were hiding in, and to bring President Xi Jin Ping—dead or alive.
The 1st Aerial Battalion had the veterans of the veterans within the aerial brigades in Korea. The men were to land at the closest location to the X-2 bunker.
“Listen up. We are 12 kilometers away from the target location, so everyone take the minimum equipment necessary and leave the rest behind. Understood?”
Colonel Oh Yong-gil, Battalion Commander of the 1st Aerial Battalion gave out orders to his men. His subordinates all gathered up the unnecessary equipment they had and set it on fire.
“Everyone ready? Then run!”
The 1st Aerial Battalion’s men, who now carried a lighter load, all split into groups of platoons and ran out toward Beijing’s suburbs.

“What were the anti-air forces in Beijing been doing?”
President Xi Jin Ping shouted at the men in the room with bloodshot eyes.
“Mr. President, now is not the time, sir. You must leave the area.”
“Where will I go?”
Vice-President Li Yuan Chao from the Central Politics Commission tried to speak further but fell silent at President Xi’s shouting.
“How about taking the land route to Da tung, then a plane to Zheng zhou, sir.”
General Chiu Ji Liang Ji, who was at the President’s office entrance said.
Bang!
President Xi Jin Ping slammed his fist on the table.
“It is already embarrassing for me to flee outside Beijing, and now you’re asking me to run to Zheng zhou?”
“President Xi! Our location might have been compromised by the ex-Commander of the 12th Army Group Wu Weian. Please hurry.”
“Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!”
As President Xi and General Chiu argued, the leading members of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China were waiting anxiously, prepared to leave.
“Mr. President! We don’t know when the systems here will go out as well. There’s no time. Please leave this place.”
The four Epirus missiles caused a city-wide blackout in Beijing, but the X-2 bunker, being recently built, had an adequate EMP defensive system. Its power and systems were still running. However, their internal generators were broken, and the power could be cut at any moment. If that was the case, then everyone in the bunker could be trapped 100 meters underground.

The 1st Aerial Battalion’s men had run for ten kilometers while being lightly armed, and they were now two kilometers away from their destination.
The Commander of the 1st Aerial Battalion waved his hand to stop and signaled to his left and right.
When they got closer to the bunker the Chinese leaders were hiding in, life signs showed up on the watch’s monitors. They were from the guarding forces and special forces surrounding and in the bunker.
“My! There’re so many of them! We will attempt to break through their defenses in groups of platoons. Each Company Commander will check the routes their platoons will take and subdue our enemies as quickly as possible. Understood?”
Colonel Oh Yong-gil gave his order through the headset to each Company Commander as his forces hid and watched an area 500 meters ahead of them.

5th Company Commander Na Gang-soo, confirmed.
6th Company Commander Kim Won-hyo, understood.
7th Company Commander Kim Kang-wan, yes, sir.
Heavy Weapons Company Commander Lee Won-il, leave it to us.

“I repeat! We must succeed in our mission! So don’t be afraid to lose your lives and break through the enemy line! After the firearms company gives us cover, the other three companies will charge to our target!”
Moments later, Colonel Oh Yong-gil gave the order to charge. The heavy weapons company fired their 8mm laser miniguns and 30mm smart grenades at 500-meter distance. The other three companies used this chance to run toward the area through their routes.
The 30mm smart grenades avoided obstacles automatically and tore the Chinese soldiers in the buildings who tried to retaliate. The laser beams raining down pierced through most walls and bodies of Chinese soldiers.
The Chinese forces were outmatched in firepower and only made passive retaliation attempts, unable to execute a proper defensive tactic.
pew~ pew~ pew~ pew~ pew~
Boom! Bang!
Whenever the smart grenades blew up, the hiding Chinese soldiers fell down and bled. The Chinese special forces became more fearful as they witnessed more of their comrades fell down from the explosions. The Korean Northern state’s aerial and land brigade forces men, however, charged toward their enemy and seemed like a horde of grim reapers ready to harvest their dues. But because of their protective suits, the Korean soldiers would sometimes fall down after taking a bullet, but they got up soon enough and continued marching forward.

On screen 6, footage from the cameras attached to the helmets of the 38th Aerial and Land Brigade’s 1st Aerial and Land Battalion was being livestreamed clearly.
The Korean military had found the location of the bunker President Xi was hiding in from the captured 12th Army Group’s previous Commander, General Wu Weian. The valuable information they got before executing Operation Downfall of Beijing had the Joint Chiefs of Staff deciding to end the war by capturing the leaders and President Xi, dead or alive.
They had sent in the 1st Aerial and Land Battalion under the aerial and land brigade, which was the best among them, to assassinate or arrest President Xi.
The 1st Battalion had parachuted down near the Chinese bunker as planned, and they were now engaged in a battle against the Chinese special forces tasked with defending the area.
On the split screen, beams of light from lasers and tracer beams were moving across the field, and blackish flames were dancing around the area. Despite the darkness, the 1st Aerial and Land Battalion’s special forces were able to use the night vision on their helmets to their advantage and overcame their inferior number. The men were closing in on the entrance of the bunker now.
“The aerial and land forces are more capable and fierce than we imagined, sir.”
Operations Director Lieutenant General Kim Yong-hyun said in amazement.
“Right, what did I always say? Our 8th Corp’s special forces men are capable of doing anything if ordered. Hahaha!”
General Choi Ho-il, who was thrilled by the performance of the 1st Aerial Battalion, laughed lightheartedly and answered.
“I regret we didn’t deploy them sooner.”
“Beijing’s downfall is now inevitable. If all 30,000 aerial and land force brigade’s men landed safely . . . I won’t say more. There’s nothing left to say, is there? Hahaha!”
“The issue is whether we get President Xi Jin Ping or not.”
Chairman Kang Ui-sik was also watching the footage from the split screen and spoke carefully. General Choi Ho-il was smaller in stature, but he stood up straight with his shoulders back and answered him confidently.
“Of course, Comrade Kang! Put your mind at ease. We will have President Xi’s head on a plate soon.”
The Operations Aide-de-camp quietly came up to Lieutenant General Kim Yong-hyn, the Operations Director, and gave a report.
Lieutenant General Kim Yong-hyun came up to Chairman Kang Ui-sik and spoke to him.
“The second wave of men from the aerial and land forces brigade have finished boarding the transport planes at Kangdong Airfield, sir.”
The transport planes of the Korean Air Force had dropped off 10,000 aerial and land forces brigades men during the first Beijing attack. These planes then returned to the airfield immediately to transport the rest of the forces as well.
“Things are running smoothly with no hiccups then. What about the sniper and paratrooper special forces?”
“Yes, the three sniper brigades are on the move to Kangdong Airfield, and the Korean paratroopers are also standing by at Sungnam Airforce Base, sir!”
“Operation Downfall of Beijing” consisted of the ground forces’ all-out attack, along with using the final four rounds of K-SE missile (SUPER EMP missiles) strikes from the KS-AD Zeus 1 satellite. The missiles would render the Beijing force’s anti-air and radar systems useless to secure the safety of an aerial invasion from 50,000 special forces soldiers. Korea had intended to deliver the final blow to end this war by putting pressure on Beijing from both in and outside the area. Also, as luck would have it, they discovered the location where President Xi was hiding in, and made an additional plan to either capture or assassinate him.
