The Corean Marines were fighting against the armed protestors and the U.S. Marines who suddenly appeared from the crowd. They did not blunder around and continued to fight off against the enemy, but when the U.S. Marines brought in their LAV-25 light armored vehicle and started firing off their M242 25mm guns, they had to take cover in the nearby shops.
However, the Corean Marines had also sent in two of their K-23P-M armored vehicles and continued the fight.
25mm machine gun rounds poured into the building where Sergeant Kim Il-ho and Private Hong Jung-pyo were hiding in.
Boom! Boom!
With a loud gunshot, the machine gun rounds easily broke through the building’s outer wall, causing a cloud of dust to cover the area.
The Corean Marines were wearing their mini gas masks, so they had no trouble breathing. However, the unending stream of 25mm bullets made it hard for them to retaliate.
“Are those bastards only firing at us?”
Sergeant Kim Il-ho was covered by the dust falling from the ceiling. He got close to the inner wall to take cover and wiped off his shield glasses with the back of his gloved hand.
Boom!
The enemy armored vehicle was moving along the road and firing its 25mm towards Sergeant Kim. Suddenly, the top turret of the LAV-25 light armored vehicle from the U.S. Marine exploded, and it broke down in the middle of the road.
120m ahead of them, the K-23P-M armored vehicles had appeared from the corner and struck them with their 50mm photon cannons. With a loud explosion, the turret was blown clean off. When the enemy armored vehicle was taken out, the 8mm laser Vulcan turned around and started to spray its laser beams.
When the ally armored vehicles started to bring down their firepower on the U.S. Marines, Sergeant Kim and Private Hong could finally be at ease and started to retaliate with their own firearms as well.
The six U.S. Marines who had been following the LAV-25 armored vehicles were turned into a pulp in an instant. When the Corean Marines were cheering for taking out the enemy soldiers and an armored vehicle, a large explosion rang out from where one of the allied vehicles were at.
Boooom!
Black smoke started to rise from the K-23P-M armored vehicle that had just fired its cannon with its turret half blown off.
“What the?”
Sergeant Kim Il-ho looked at his 3 o’clock with his shield glasses. About 1.2km away from them, there was an enemy tank and it had white smoke billowing from its muzzle. The shield glass identified the tank as the “M1A1 tank.”
“M1A1 tank? The U.S. Marines brought tanks with them?”
Two armored vehicles had come to aid them from the Corean Marines, but since one was taken out there was only one remaining. The U.S. Marines, on the other hand, still had five light armored vehicles on the move, while firing their 25mm machine guns. The M1A1 tank had entered the battle, so they were at a disadvantage. Also, the K-23P-M armored vehicle’s side and rear plating were unable to withstand the Depleted Uranium Ammunition the M1A1 tanks were using.
-Corporal Hong! Call headquarters! Tell them the U.S. Marine has sent in tanks! Request for a chopper.
Corporal Yoon Hong-gil, who had been fighting in the building on the other side, grabbed his communicator on his chest and contacted HQ.
-This is Seal 3! The U.S. Marine have brought in tanks! The enemy has brought in tanks! Requesting for additional armored vehicles or a chopper!
-This is Seal Nest! Choppers are difficult to send in. Over.
-This is Seal Nest! The battle is fierce in every part of the city, not just yours. There are no more available armored vehicles to send as back up. Face them as long as you can, but retreat when it gets too dangerous. Over!
-This is Seal 3! Confirmed. Over.
“Damn it!”
Corporal Yoon Hong-gil alerted the squadron after speaking with the company HQ.
-Commander! The choppers and armored vehicles are all fighting somewhere else, so they can’t come to us. We are to retreat if the situation gets too hot.
-There’s no retreating for the invincible marines!
“Let’s dance, you Yanks!”
Sergeant Kim Il-ho, who was consumed by rage, checked his surroundings and started to give his squad orders.
-Corporal Na, move to the building’s roof! Target the enemy vehicle’s periscopes and sights. Corporal Oh and Private Oh! You two are to set your firearm’s outputs to maximum and destroy the armored vehicle’s external optical equipment! All right?
-Yes, sir.
-Move it!

The number 40 road, 6km North of Sasebo county at Nagasaki prefecture, Kyushu, Japan (the 2nd marine division’s 1st marine regiment’s location)
When the Kyushu defensive line was broken through, the 2nd marine division’s remaining forces had started to occupy the area. Also, since the war against America had begun, the marines were to occupy the Sasebo U.S. naval base where the 7th fleet and its supply fleets were docked at. The 1st marine regiment was moving along the number 40 road when they met with the U.S. Marines guarding the Sasebo naval base and engaged in battle.
The numerous 7.62mm M240E6 machine guns installed at the naval base started to spray their bullets. The M240E6 had replaced the M60 machine gun in 2010. It was a heavy machine gun that used 7.62 x 51mm NATO rounds. It had titanium receiver blocks and was the latest and lightest model of the series.
Pew pew pew pew!
The 7.62mm rounds caused sparks to fly from landing on the outer walls of buildings and the floor. The unending stream of bullets was a problem for the 1st regiment’s marines who were trying to infiltrate the naval base. Also, the LAV-25 light armored vehicles had joined in and started to fire their 25mm guns at the Corean Marines.
Pewpewpepewpew! Pew pew!
A group of marines avoided the bullets raining down on them from the front entrance and got into position stealthily. They were each holding a round of S-LTM 50A2 metal bow rounds in their hands. A moment later, the metal bow operators hid behind their covers and assessed the situation. They found their first target, a U.S. Marine light armored vehicle slowly moving towards them.
An S-LTM 50A2 metal bow-guided missile flew into the sky and started to fall to the surface. The turret of the oncoming LAV-25 armored vehicle was blown off with an explosion. It started to spew black and red flames before collapsing. The marine anti-tank platoon continued their operations and picked off six of the U.S Marine’s LAV-25 light armored vehicles.
“Those sons of bitches! I guess it was worth training them after all.”
Sergeant First Class Na Kyung-ook, the commander of the anti-tank platoon, seemed to be in a good mood and smiled. If his men had seen him, then they would all be in shock. He was known to be a stubborn man that followed every rule in the book who showed no emotions. His awkward smile was something his subordinates could not imagine.
Boooom!
The last U.S. Marine’s armored vehicle had exploded while emitting flames. Sergeant First Class Na Kyung-ook went up to the highest point on the hill and checked for any more moving U.S. Marine armored vehicles with his shield glasses. When he saw that there were none left, he gave an order through the platoon communication line.
“Our job here is done. We move to the rear.”
The anti-tank platoon had been tasked with destroying the enemy tanks and armored vehicles. They had completed their mission, so Sergeant First Class Na had given the order to retreat without any hesitation.
The men from the platoon carefully placed the launch tubes on their back and slowly moved towards the rear.
Dududududududududu.
The loud sound of a chopper’s rotors started coming from the naval bases’ landing pad. It was the MH-60R Seahawk anti-submarine chopper. It had landed at the base for repairs, maintenance, and to restock on weapons. Since the base was under attack, the U.S. Marine seemed to have deployed the three Seahawk choppers after arming them hastily. There were four rounds of the AGM-114 Hellfire missiles equipped on the lower body of each chopper.
“Take cover, take cover.”
The commanders of the Corean Marines created a cacophony of noise by giving orders to take cover simultaneously through the communication line when the Seahawk choppers appeared. The marines were sitting ducks to the choppers even if they were designed for naval battles.
The M240G machine gun and GAU-16 12.7mm machine gun had fire coming out from its muzzles and started to spray bullets at the ground.
Pew pew pew pew~ Pew pew pew pew~
When the Seahawk anti-submarine choppers launched their AGM-114 hellfire missiles attached to their lower body, the entire area was engulfed in a giant fireball. When the choppers started to take over the ground with their machineguns and missiles, a few of the men from the anti-tank platoon were wounded from the flames or the shrapnel and fell to the ground.
Booom! Bang!
The pillars of flame and smoke had put the base into chaos. Suddenly, a missile appeared from the sky and flew past the base.
Wooooosh~ Woooooosh~
Two S-LAM 50A2 God’s Bow anti-air missiles were launched by the regiment’s HQ that was 2km away from the U.S naval base. The missiles flew in an arc while leaving a trail of white smoke. One of them had hit the MH-60R Seahawk missiles and burned them to a crisp, while the second had struck another chopper by the tail. The Seahawk chopper had lost its balance and spun in the air before crashing to the ground.
The crash and explosion had caused a pillar of flame 10m high to rise into the sky. The remaining Seahawk chopper’s pilot raised its altitude and launched its two hellfire missiles to the ground before turning away and retreating.
“Son of a bitch.”
Sergeant First Class Na Kyung-ook was no longer smiling and had fire in his eyes once he heard of his men being injured by the anti-submarine chopper’s attacks. The other marines were enraged as well and fiercely attacked the naval base.

Downtown Saga, Kyushu, Japan
Corporal Na Il-hwan climbed up to the roof and used his sniping skills to destroy the optical equipment of the M1A1 tank. The M1A1 was now blind, and could no longer move. It could only fire its cannon following the vehicle commander’s orders. However, the depleted uranium ammunition the tank was firing still gave them trouble.
Whenever the marines would fire their weapons while hiding behind the building, the depleted uranium rounds would fly towards them and make it difficult for them to retaliate.
Private Jo Jun-hyung, the squadron’s heavy gunner, was firing his CS3 laser mini machine gun when he was hit by the concrete piece flying from the explosion. He fell to the ground and was tossed back from the blow.
“Are you all right?”
“Sir! I’m fine, sir.”
“Be careful!”
“Yes, sir.”
Sergeant Kim Il-ho determined that enough was enough. He called over Corporal Na Il-hwan, the squadron’s sniper through the radio.
-Corporal Na!
-Yes, sir!
-When the vehicle’s commander shows his head from the hatch, blow it off! I think our men will all die if we keep fighting like this. I will bait him over, so wait for him to show up and get him!
-Yes, sir.
Corporal Na Il-hwan had destroyed the M1A1 tank’s optical equipment and was facing off against a LAV-25 light armored vehicle. He moved over to the area where he could have a clear visual of the M1A1 tank and pointed his CS14 sniper rifle at the vehicle commander’s hatch.
“The minute you show yourself, you’re as good as dead.”
As the corporal was muttering to himself, Sergeant Kim Il-ho showed himself from behind a building. He ran across to the other side of the road and hid behind an abandoned truck. Corporal Na placed his finger on the trigger and prepared himself.
The vehicle commander of the M1A1 showed his face from the hatch and moved the turret towards the truck where Sergeant Kim Il-ho had moved to. When the turret was turning left, a powerful laser beam had flown towards the hatch. Red bits of flesh flew everywhere like a watermelon exploding. The vehicle commander was wearing a helmet, but it was useless against the firepower of the CS14 rifle.
-We took out the vehicle’s commander, sir.
-Excellent work.
When Corporal Na had made the successful shot, his position was exposed to the LAV-25 light armored vehicle, and it started to spray 25mm rounds to his location.
“Crap.”
Corporal Na Il-hwan fell back and crawled to another location.
When the M1A1 tank had stopped moving, the K-23P-M armored vehicle that had been hiding behind a building shot forward and started making its attack with its 50mm photon cannon to the U.S. Marine’s LAV-25 armored vehicle.
