Chapter 33: Clara's Hunch

After being satisfied with inviting Frederica to play and then taking her to sleep, now Clara chooses to be alone on the balcony terrace while looking at the sky which is not too dark but there are not many stars that accompany the moon, just like she feels alone at this time. The woman stood with a glass of red wine because she felt tired and wanted to drink.

Clara immediately climbed onto the bed where Frederica was sleeping in the middle. She still couldn't shake off the anxiety in her heart, continued to hold her chest, and closed her eyes while crying.

'Oh my God... What is this? why is there this feeling when yesterday I felt fine... Why am I not as strong as yesterday? Why is tonight so hard... I miss Michael... I miss him so much!'

Clara continued to cry remembering Michael's smile which is rarely carved for anyone because his lover is a man who is quite cold and only sweet to her. "I don't know what happened to you, but if I have upset you today I'm sorry. Maybe I still haven't managed to be a good husband to you..."

Clara opened her eyes again when she heard Nathan's words, and felt that Nathan was sitting beside her while gently stroking her hair. She took a deep breath, trying to stay calm and act okay because this attitude was already hurting Nathan.

"Then why are you like this? Please If anything is bothering you, tell me...I couldn't possibly sleep well If it turns out that you're depressed like this because you're thinking about something I don't know... Please be as open as you used to be before we got married..." Nathan said very softly, wiping away Clara's tears.."What made you cry, honey. Did anything offend you?"

"Nothing," said Clara.
