Chapter 47: A Slander

Nathan was silent, glancing at the employees who were dominated by beautiful girls and men aged around 25-35 years chatting with each other, occasionally glancing at the police who were conducting searches.
"Has my family's mansion been searched?" asked Nathan.

"Paulina… are those shoes yours?" he asked.
"Yes, sir. But I don't know why there is such a small bottle in my sock," answered Paulina fearfully. Of course, she was scared because she didn't expect that suddenly there was a small bottle inside her sock, which she thought was a poison bottle. Of course, she was afraid because the mastermind might slander her at this time.
Nathan sighed, feeling suffocated and not understanding what all this meant. Everyone was confused, until Felix and the police gathered.
"I think we should detain Miss Paulina for further investigation," said one bald cop.

You do look good, but maybe you don't like me or my wife all this time... You disappointed me!" Nathan said angrily then walked towards his room at a brisk pace.
