Chapter 71: Fabrizio's Plan

The man sat on the edge of the bed, looked at the policeman who looked pale, then touched his forehead.

"Hmm, looks like he has a fever...I think the doctor should check it soon," Fabrizio mumbled, then returned to Paulina's room to get his phone.

Fabrizio immediately contacted the doctor who used to examine him when he was unwell. He sat on the edge of the bed, occasionally glancing at Paulina, who was still sound asleep.

"Hello, Doctor Kimberly," said Fabrizio.

"Hello, Fabrizio ... Are you sick so you call me," said Dr. Kimberly.

Fabrizio sighed, silent trying to understand the situation. "Then I'll talk about this later with Dr. Kimberly . . who knows she can help me to take care of Ronald without anyone knowing. But after that I want you to stay in my apartment."

For a moment Paulina frowned. "Why do I even have to move?" she asked.

"Because I want to always take care of you...I'm afraid the one who slandered you could do bad things to you because you are free. This poison case must be masterminded by a very dangerous person because he had also killed the maid who was ordered to put the poison in drink," Fabrizio explained, then lay down next to Paulina. He looked at his lover very intensely, touching his smooth cheek. "When I'm done with all the cases I handle, I will marry you," he continued.

"Ronald, the shed of the investigation office caught fire, and all the cars there were not saved including Casey's car," said Fabrizio as he sat on the edge of the bed right beside Ronald's feet.

"Is that true?" asked Ronald quietly.

"Yeah, and I know it was Oskar or Robert..and maybe they ordered the traitor police to carry out the arson act," Fabrizio explained angrily. "they are crazy just to be saved from this case. And I'm sure there's a big purpose in all of this," he continued thoughtfully.

"I don't know, I don't want to think about this because right now my whole body is in a lot of pain," said Ronald anxiously.

"Well . . . I'll be asking my trusted doctor for a while to treat you. Hopefully, he'll be willing and able to keep you safe."

"Didn't you agree to dock me here?" asked Ronald in surprise...

"It was canceled because my lover was uncomfortable," replied Fabrizio with an uncomfortable look. ."Maybe I'll just invite her to stay in my apartment because she has previously been a victim of slander from the poison case.
