At seven o'clock in the morning, Casey woke up and glanced around. She saw a different atmosphere from before because she was in the infirmary. The woman turned to glance to the right side where a man was sleeping in a sitting position leaning his head on the edge of the bed.
"Could it be Michael, uncle, or ... Oskar?"
Slowly, Casey raised her right hand and ran her fingers through the man's hair until she accidentally woke him up. She frowned when she saw that the man was Nathan who immediately smiled at her with relief, even kissed her forehead.
"Oh my God, you finally woke up again. I'm so afraid, I'm afraid you won't wake up like last night..," Nathan said sadly kissing Casey's right hand.
"Nathan, but I'm not Clara," Casey said, noticing a misunderstanding.
Nathan smiled slightly, shaking his head. "Yes… you may call yourself not Clara because you are Mrs. Nathan William Rudolf. You're my wife..."
Casey immediately shook her head while frowning. "Hey... That's not what I meant... But I did..."
"Come on, don't joke," Nathan said before Casey finished. He got up and walked to the table near the sofa to get a drink of water, then returned to Casey who he thought was Clara, because it was Clara's body. "I know you like to joke around, but now you just realized
You need to get plenty of rest and don't scare or disappoint me again."
Casey was silent, glancing at Nathan in annoyance. She was so curious about what happened to her that she was mistaken for Clara. She raised her right hand and saw that there was a wedding ring which was a diamond, then glanced at her hair which was not the same as before, it even looked like Clara's hair.
"Honey, now you have to drink. I'm sure you must be thirsty," Nathan shouted, thrusting the pipette that was already in the glass into Casey's mouth.
Hesitantly and awkwardly, Casey tilted her body towards Nathan and took a sip of the drinking water. She glanced at Clara's husband who was so handsome even though he looked very disheveled like he hadn't showered all day, even if he didn't get enough sleep.
"Hey... Why are you looking at me like that? I'm your husband, not your enemy." Nathan laughed a little at the look of Casey's horror at him. "Ah, you must be afraid that this drink is poisonous because the drink you drank last night was my drink. I don't even know if the drink is poisonous because it turns out that someone put poison on purpose and the maid who brought the drink was also a fake maid."
"Eh...I just... I'm just still confused," Casey said as she lay back down and stared at the ceiling.
"What makes you confused, honey?" Nathan asked as he placed the glass on the table. He looked back at Casey sadly, then took her right hand. "You must be confused and scared after last night's incident, right? I promise I will take you away from my family environment and we will live comfortably together, alone."
Casey felt uncomfortable, but it seemed impossible to explain who she was right now. She also wanted to make sure whether it was Clara or not, because she was confused by this situation.
"Are you hungry?" asked Nathan.
"No, I'm not hungry," Casey replied then asked, "do you know where my phone is?"
"Eh... It's in the bag..I'll get it," Nathan said then got up from the chair. He walked to the table near the couch and took the phone that was in Clara's bag which was probably delivered by a bodyguard or a trusted person. The man walked back to the bed, then gave the gold-colored phone to his wife.
Casey frowned when she recognized that it wasn't her phone. But she still received the advanced item and started activating it. Luckily the lock screen button is not activated and there are no other lock codes. The woman opened the camera application until her eyes successfully widened when she activated the front camera which reflected the image of her face.
"Oh my God!" She said reflex
"Honey, what happened?" Nathan asked worriedly, also looking at the cellphone which finally showed a picture of him and Clara.
Casey was silent, then put the phone on her stomach. She was curious again then looked back at the phone which was still in the camera application, until again she saw Clara's face was her current face. Her body immediately went limp, her heart was pounding so fast she felt like she was going to tremble.
"Honey, what are you doing?" asked Nathan.
Casey glanced at Nathan who was so with her face, their noses were almost touching. In silence, she felt no wonder why the man always thought that she was Clara because she became Clara or only her soul moved in that body.
'Then where is Clara now? Could she be . . .' Casey thought of Nathan talking about poison. 'Oh my God, that means Clara is dead from that poison. Did she die on her wedding day? Oh my God... How come this is ....why is her luck so bad and why am I in her body? Then where is my body?' Casey wondered, imagining the joy Clara had with her.
Needless to say, tears just fell. Casey felt so devastated by the situation that befell Clara and Nathan, even she began to feel sorry for Nathan who thought of her as Clara.
'He loves Clara very much, he will feel very broken if he knows I'm not Clara and Clara is gone,' she thought sadly with a blank look. 'But . . . But she could still be there. But where is she?'
Nathan gently wiped Casey's tears, then kissed her forehead. She tossed the confused woman's hair, looking at her sadly.
"I'm sorry ... I failed to make you happy on our wedding day," he said.
Casey woke up from her daydream, glanced at Nathan who looked sad. She cried even more because she imagined the fate of Clara and Nathan's love, she didn't know what to say, what to do, she didn't even know where her body was right now. The woman also wondered if her boyfriend and family were worried about her after the accident.
"Sweetheart, stop crying. I can't see you sad," Nathan cried, hugging Casey tightly. "I'm so sorry about last night's accident. I'm even sorry I took that drink for you, it makes me feel like I've put you in danger."
'I'm not Clara, I'm not Clara…but I don't know how to explain it... I also don't know why I was trapped in Clara's body,' Casey thought-feeling frustrated by this situation.
Nathan let go of his arms, stood up straight again, and sat down on the chair. He continued to hold Casey's right hand, staring at her who was still silent which made him even more confused.
"Honey, are you mad at me for what happened last night? Do you think I poisoned you?"
