The harvest is pretty good today. This is a successful hunt.

I happily tapped my backpack filled with prey and left the hunting grounds without regrets.

“Are you heading out now?”

A female employee standing at the entrance greeted me with a smile.

“Yes. A lot of low price and good quality products came out this year.”

It was a Pet Fair held at a convention. More companies participated in it this year compared to last year, and they gave plenty of pet food and snack samples, so my backpack was heavy.

“Since you bought a Kasha-kasha fishing rod cat toy, you must have a cat.”

“Yes, that’s right.”

The lady looking at my fishing rod sticking out of the top of my backpack grabbed a cookie in the shape of a dog’s face from the counter behind her and handed it to me.

“We have two dogs at home, but we also love cats. I have two Schnauzers; how many do you have?”

“I have two as well.”

I quickly greeted her goodbye and left the fair as I thought she would ask more questions about what breed and age my cats are. It’s a little chilly in early April, but this warm wind makes it seem inevitable that spring has come. Imagining the sight of Baek-Ho and Blue Dragon welcoming the newly bought snacks and toys made me happy, and I hurriedly walked back home.

“Meow~”

As soon as I opened the door, Baek-Ho greeted me and rubbed himself on my legs, followed by Blue Dragon.

“Wait one moment. I’ll show you what your brother has been hunting to give you guys.”

Baek- Ho and Blue Dragon sat beside each other and looked at me with bright eyes in anticipation.

Baek-Ho is a 7-year-old cat with silver-gray fur and dark gray stripes. Most people think it is a pedigree cat, but it is actually a stray cat. I took it in and saved him when I found it alone in the streets after his mother died. His mother was just an ordinary yellow cat.

When my mother died as a baby, I picked up the leftovers and brought them back to life. The mother who died was an ordinary, yellow-eyed stray cat. Maybe one of his ancestors was a pedigree cat, but that’s not something that I would know.

The blue dragon sitting quietly next to Baek-Ho is now 7 months old, it’s still relatively young, and it’s a male whose body is still smaller than Baek-Ho. It has large, round amber eyes and beautiful blue-grey fur……, I mean, scales.

Blue Dragon is……, as its name suggests, a blue dragon.
