Chapter 4: Olive-green
If one wanted to get out of the prison, they would either have to kill a hundred people or be a main character of the story.
Yan Leyang found an empty store. He was unsure what kind of store it was before he walked in and shut the door tightly. Then, he started to analyze the situation.
Killing a hundred people would be a bit challenging as Yan Leyang hadn’t killed anyone before. So this was quite daunting for him. That, and the fact that it was a hundred….after killing them all and leaving, would he still be able to continue to live as a normal person?
Don’t make it so that I’m gonna have mental problems when the time comes.
As for the route of becoming the male lead—that is also dangerous.
After a while, the male lead would also appear in the prison that he was currently at. Yan Leyang had read the novel in great detail; after the main character arrived, he would meet the cannon fodder ‘Yan Leyang’ who was eaten. This plotline only had three parts, the cannon fodder dies fast.
The male lead’s personality is a bit..hmm, how to describe, lacking any desire or that he doesn’t have anything he wants?
That’s not right either.
Yan Leyang peeled off a chunk of lamb leg, and contemplated over the issue as he ate.
The male lead’s identity was the son of the former head of the wolf galaxy, but this identity was only revealed later on. In the early days, the man was a poor little boy who was struggling to survive on the garbage star.
No, it wasn’t accurate to say that he was a poor guy. The male lead was a genius. His body has been transformed by himself and was semi-mechanized. That and the man’s personality wasn’t bad either.
He only had one desire, and that was to continue to live; to live an even better life.
But the main point was that the original host had—in the plotline—offended the male lead. Hence the male lead and the royal family of the cat clan had sent the original host here together.
Of course, everyone had different standpoints. It was an indisputable fact that everyone wanted to assassinate the crown prince.
It was just that (if he were to go on) this protagonist’s route, in a month or so, the protagonist would probably be backhanded by the cat clan and wind up being sent to this gathering place. He should not be too far away from Yan Leyang. After all, Yan Leyang had met that fellow cannon fodder. 1
But the main issue was that there were still problems with his identity.
The protagonist himself was reformed. He would leave the prison, plant viruses into the mechanical guards, and finally hijack the ship used to carry criminals.
After all, the protagonist couldn’t be considered a pure beastman anymore; at the moment, it was probably only his brain that remained from his original body.
After thinking over the matter, the protagonist isn’t exactly a normal person. I don’t want to interact with him.
“Hey, is it you?” A head popped up outside the window. It’s a guy….oh right, this gathering place only has men.
The man’s hair was dark black and he had green scales on his face. He looked quite terrifying.
Yan Leyang was surprised: “Who are you?”
“Were you the one who bumped into me earlier?” The man asked again, breaking the window and entering without waiting for Yan Leyang to answer.
Yan Leyang immediately raised his guard.
Noticing Yan Leyang’s golden hair, the man narrowed his eyebrows as he sized Yan Leyang up: “You are quite good-looking.” But how did this tiny body hit me and send me flying?
By the time the man had gotten to the food distribution center, he had caught up with a group of guys outside who were chatting. To be honest, he had never seen such a peaceful group of criminals.
When he asked for more details, it turned out that it was a little pretty boy 2 with blonde hair who had beaten the black bear with a single blow that had the black bear spitting white foam as he crawled all over the ground; unable to stand up.
It was said that the blonde little pretty boy looked to be about 1.85 meters tall. Maybe he had some muscles? But he had his clothes on, so they were unable to tell; unlike those types such as the black bear who would be unable to cover it up regardless of how they were dressed.
Moreover, it was said that this little goldie was a cat.
After listening to the man in front of him, Yan Leyang understood, reached out and stroked his own face.
Yan Leyang was very good-looking. Of course, he himself knew that. He had been picked up on the streets several times, thus, ““Did you want to be my backer?.”3 Men and women were held separately in the Twilight Prison, so having such needs was as normal as normal could be.
The man was silent for a moment: “You [formal] think too highly of me.”
“I just want to know, are you really a cat?” The man sat on the floor, and in the end, decided to keep a safe distance from Yan Leyang; he hadn’t forgotten about Yan Leyang’s speed.
“Yeah.” Yan Leyang scratched his head, “Do I not look like one?”
The man didn’t reply to him, and just changed the topic: “I want to collaborate with you.”
Collaboration? Yan Leyang stared at the guy for a while, and then suddenly hit his head: “I remember now, aren’t you that guy who was punching someone in front of my door earlier?!”
“Yes.” the man decided not to fool him, “that guy cheated my feelings.”
“Good grief.” Yan Leyang sat up straight, “What happened?”
“He sought me for divine protection, then afterwards, I noticed that this guy also slept with an Anaconda.” The man was afraid that Yan Leyang wouldn’t believe him, and so he said quite detailedly, “at the time of catching them in the act, that snake was on top of his body.”

“Woah, I can’t listen to this.” Yan Leyang gave the man a bottle of water, “Bro, you seriously like him?”
“He’s alright, I can’t get out anyways, I just wanted to have a better life.” The man’s expression was quite calm. He took a drink from the water and said, “don’t look at my fierce fighting, I didn’t really exert much strength, otherwise he would have died long ago. Later, when I asked around, I found out that this guy was f-king keeping an improper boy-boy relationship with several other people.”
“Good grief.” Yan Leyang narrowed his eyebrows and shook his head, “Bro, you are so miserable.”
“……..” the man was silent for a while as he faced Yan Leyang’s spirited graze, “are you that happy to hear that?”
Yan Leyang hesitated for a while, then slapped his thigh and stood up: “How could I, am I that kind of person?” 4
【Are you not? By the way, what’s the deal with you cat clan not knowing this guy’s weird/strange fighting strength?】
【Ever since he beat the black bear, I’ve been thinking, how the heck did he fail his assassination?】
【Has anyone else noticed that this guy’s eyes lit up when he said, “I can’t listen to this”?】
【Good grief, he’s eager for this crocodile to say it in great detail.】
【This crocodile was too dishonest. 5 Was he knocked too hard? He was hit and sent flying.】
“But you have to be honest with me, if we do work together, you wouldn’t have any other thoughts towards me?” At that moment, Yan Leyang sized the big guy up and was convinced that this guy’s body build shouldn’t be some gigantic beast, “What’s your original form?”
“Caiman Crocodile. My name is Dai Zu.” When Dai Zu said this, he lifted his head to stare at Yan Leyang for a while.
To be honest, Yan Leyang’s appearance was really strong. It was especially suited to one’s taste, the type that was very popular; with that cold and aloof manner.
But Yan Leyang’s overall impression gave Dai Zu the feeling of an anglerfish. Now, this beautiful appearance was like the anglerfish’s bait. It was very eye-catching and attractive, but if one truly dared to get close and try to take a bite, It was estimated that what awaited him was a big, bloody mouth.
“I probably wouldn’t have any other thoughts.” Dai Zu said sincerely, “I probably wouldn’t be able to beat your[formal] slim arms and legs.”
“I have no advantage here, as you can see, I would probably just be able to live a little longer. I am quite knowledgeable about the criminals here at the gathering spot.” Dai Zu placed the water bottle that had been drunk onto the ground.
“I only want to continue to live.” Dai Zu said seriously, “I heard that you got in because you tried to assassinate the prince. You are different from the other criminals.”
Yan Leyang understood what Dai Zu meant. Those who could enter “Twilight” were all criminals who were wicked beyond all redemption 6, but Yan Leyang, who had tried to assassinate the prince, was different. As everyone knew, the current king of the cat clan’s galaxy was a foolish guy. Or well he was a foolish person who had been elected twice.
There were seven residential planets in the cat clan’s galaxy, but initially there had actually been eight of them. However, this eighth planet had been bombed and destroyed 60 or so years ago during the huge war between the falcon and the python.
The fight between other clans wound up destroying one of their clan’s planets, leaving countless people dead, yet the royal family didn’t even let out a fart. 7
So strictly speaking, Yan Leyang’s behavior should have been regarded as a revolutionary action and he should have been seen as a person with great ideological awareness, which was quite different from the rest of those marginalized guys.
Yan Leyang himself knew that in the novel, the crown prince of the cat clan was not someone to be messed with. 8 He was a lot more capable than his father and grandfather. He was quite intelligent/His brain remained quite good, from the beginning of the story plot to the end.
Obviously, this guy had pulled a cannon fodder’s action of throwing the protagonist into prison, but later on, not only did he not have any accident, but even after rising to power, he had cooperated with the male lead and unified several big races in the league, elevating the cat clan from their embarrassing position, and ranking at the forefront of the carnivorous League.
“You ask me to cooperate, but I know nothing about you, brother.” from the start Yan Leyang simply hadn’t planned to talk about this so-called cooperation with this big brother that had just came to him by himself. Yan Leyang had just come into this world and he knew the plot, but what was described in the plot was only the characters who were related to the protagonist.
Moreover, the main venue of the novel was not in the prison. Yan Leyang’s transmigration into this world basically left him as helpless as a blind person. What could he do if he played himself to death by entering into a muddle-headed cooperation?
“I can let you have a look at my information.” Dai Zu stroked the gold metal on his neck and a blue, semi transparent board appeared with his details displayed on it.
Weapon-maker, charged for murdering other weapon makers.
“They all slept with my fiancée. I found the lot of them together, and so I made the move.” Dai Zu said, his face devoid of expression, “this was even on the news before, you should remember.” After all, the ones that he had killed were all higher ranked researchers.
“I’m not one of those antisocial criminals.”
“Uhh, I don’t have any impression.” Yan Leyang didn’t have the so-called original host’s memories, so how could he possibly know that news from years ago.
But, but, if this was true, then this Dai Zu was too miserable.
“I’m very sorry bro, I can’t believe you.” Yan Leyang shrugged, “but if there’s a chance for us to get to know each other more, then we could probably collaborate into an alliance.”
Dai Zu nodded, seeming like he had already guessed that this would be the result. He got up and went out through the window again.
It’s just that, as he threw one leg over the window and was about to cross, Yan Leyang suddenly stopped him: “Bro, if I remember correctly, Caiman crocodiles also have an olive green color right.”
“Correct, I am one.” Dai Zu questioned, “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” Yan Leyang sighed, “I was just curious.”
Seeing that Dai Zu was still staring at him, Yan Leyang helplessly said: “If you sunbathe a lot more, will you be able to turn brown?”
“Why do I need to turn brown?” Dai Zu couldn’t understand.
“Change your luck 9?” Yan Leyang didn’t say it too explicitly, so as not to hurt a certain someone’s fragile heart.
Dai Zu was silent for a long time. He couldn’t understand Yan Leyang’s deep meaning. He cheered dryly: “You[formal] sure are so funny.”
