A Knight’s tale

A peasant squire, William of age 16, does the unthinkable after his master dies by taking on the identity of a knight – a crime punishable by stock and death on the gallows – as he takes on the noble world of jousting.

With the help of his friends, he aims to win the jousting tournaments and the hearts of the people that come his way. And more importantly, to prove that it is possible to change the ill stars he was born with.

However, his straight trail to the sky is threatened when his path crosses Count Adhemar’s; a genius at the game, a warlord, and knight feared by all.

Now, William must joust for glory, honor, his friends and the woman whose heart he has won and prove once and for all that a man can change the stars he was born with.

This story is based on the movie a knight's tale. It starts the same but changes as the story progresses. The story is expected to continue beyond the movie and is not set in our world but an alternate universe with different nations, cultures and wars. Certain key historic figures remain for the purpose of story development and continuity.
