I think...3 months have passed after that invasion, the situation aftermath is quite...chaos.

Many Kings, Lords and officials of 15 Kingdoms had been killed during the invasion, Warsaw territory was now having many lands that didn't have Lords to rule. King Hoster had to take those lands to rule because there were not many Lords had survived after the invasion and Hoster himself was thinking to appoint someone in the Palace to be a Lord.

I hope he would appoint me to be a Lord, I didn't know why I have to desire to become a King, I still wanted to be a King for some reason. "Wake the fuck up, brother! Today we are free, we don't have anything to do, let's enjoy the day!" - Now I just want to beat Cawess and leave him in a monkey place, this guy annoying me, ahhhhh!

"Ahhhhh...months of fighting without resting, only have a rest day on the Fourth of July each year..." - I was talking to Cawess when he was still shaking me

"We have just gone to Okinawa a few days. Now we have rest days so let me sleep more, goddammit!"

"But we are in Japan, man! We are allowed to go outside freely, now get up fast to eat some and then head outside!"

After tidying my bed and then my stuff, I made a long sigh and then got to the green locker nearby - which was my locker, I grabbed my military bag out. Inside my military bag were not many important things, it was actually Shizu's military bag, she had died but at least she left me her sword and some of her belongings, I wanted Shizu to be alive...sigh!

Inside the bag had two small black objects which seemed to be Pip-Boys from the Fallout game series but these objects' screens had been smashed or broken by bullets and could not turn on anymore. There was also a black Katana and a scabbard under the bag but the Katana itself had broken its blade, maybe this was the previous sword that Shizu had used to fight before changing to use the sword I gave her.

There was also a phone under the bag, which was Shizu's phone, for some reason, the US military in this world was allowed to use smartphones. This phone seemed to be a bit old and outdated but I didn't care, every time I look at this phone, I would think about Shizu, I slowly put the phone in my pocket.

Okay, let's start my daily routine...I slowly grabbed the European sword which was Shizu's previous belonging and then took a cloth nearby to wipe its blade. I always put this sword under my pillow and then clean it daily in the morning, though I didn't need to use it but I want to keep it...

After cleaning the sword's blade, I put the sword back on my bed and covered it with my pillow, I later grabbed a green tank top and wore it, I always slept with my upper body naked. I was wearing a green tank top and yellow military pants, I had shaved my beard quite much now, it was not dense like months ago...though I love to grow my beard, it made me look older and tougher.

I walked outside of the room and then headed to brush my teeth and then went on to defecate and urinate, after doing those stuff, I went on to have breakfast with my buddies. I would head outside of the barracks for a walk, maybe I would head outside at noon if this morning has something I can do inside the barracks to help my people.

I slowly walked to the military's cafeteria room, I would join to eat with my buddies there, hope today would be good, I felt...lonely when I was always alone. Today we were quite free, after months of fighting, now we have some days off to prepare for the amphibious assault, I think I will go outside to join nature and release my stress and loneliness.

We would make the assault by heading to Shanghai from Okinawa while the other groups would start from Korea.

It was said to be a massive amphibious assault but only US Military was involved, the other faction like NATO or US Military's allies in Asia like Japan and Korea would not join. 

Because those factions have already left the war, they only help US Military by lending lands to let us gather troops, those factions would not send troops or weapons to fight with us. The Russia Military was now attacking China from the North, our US Marines would join to fight with Russia by attacking Shanghai 3 days later by making this amphibious assault.

Seemed like I was the one who had woken up latest here, my brothers had already waited for me with their meals and their bowls on the table in the left corner of the room. I sat on my seat and then tore out an MRE pack, poured it on a metal bowl and then squeezed the pack, put it in the trash down my legs and then grabbed a spoon nearby to eat my breakfast.

Ohh, I forgot to greet my buddies, Sulivan didn't say a word to call me but he waved his hand to greet me, I must greet them first before eating.

"Good morning, Pambo...Sulivan and a...the son of a bitch." - I greeted my brothers, only mocked Cawess and then ate my meal

"Good morning too, Rigenny! You always look serious, homie...let loose, let me fun you, haha." - Pambo tapped my shoulder and then ate with the others 

"Good morning too, John...you look sad today, don't be like that anymore, Shizu won't...I mean you should start to...stop being sad." - Sulivan seemed to want to comfort me

"Sad is not the key, John! Shizu doesn't want to see you like that, go find some more girls and fuck them to let your dead girlfriend see." - Cawess, that's not a funny joke!

"Ohhh...sorry..." - Cawess later ate his meal

The four of us later went silent and then focused on eating our meals, the food shortage in the United States after the civil war had been well solved after 2 years. So our Marines now had more food to eat, not like the way to eat only a meal or two meals in a day when we were fighting in 2037.

Though I was the one who woke up latest but seemed like I had done eating earliest here, Cawess kept raising his head while eating as if he wanted to say something. Sulivan had also done eating a few seconds later, Pambo was now still eating his meal but he kept looking at Cawess, maybe I should ask Cawess to know what was his purpose for looking at us.

"Speak it up, homie!" - Pambo had already done eating half of his meal but he chose to stop to ask Cawess 

"Well, have you guys ever been cucked?" - Why did this guy ask this? He loved to be cheated on by his lover or something?

Well, I ignored and let Cawess yell at me, maybe I would go around the barracks and then ask the Marines around to know if I could do something to help them or not. I would head outside this noon though Okinawa today was quite hot, but this base was located at a rural place, just a monkey place after all, not many things for me to see so I didn't need to rush.

Okay, I saw that there was nothing for me to do in the barracks so I headed outside, this time was noon, I would walk around this rural place a bit. Our US Marines were not allowed to bring weapons while going outside to not scare the locals, which was the law all of us had to follow, I was now only wearing my phone out.

I walked out of the base and went to the entrance and then saw Pambo was talking with two soldiers who wore helmets and combat uniforms in jungle color.

Those soldiers the JSDFs - Japanese Self Defense Forces, they were doing guard at the barracks' entrance. Our US military had already left Okinawa in 2037 and the Japanese government had taken over the island, most of our previous bases were now used for JSDF soldiers.

The Japanese government only provided our US Marines with this small base - which was built in a rural area in Okinawan, not in the city place, Japan was a safe country during wartime, alongside Australia and New Zealand. I slowly walked toward Pambo and then stood beside him to listen to his conversation with JSDF soldiers, Pambo seemed to know Japanese, very fluent, I guess.

"Oh, homie! Want to go with me around the place with these Japanese guys?" - Pambo saw so he asked me while tapping me

"Nah, I want...to be alone for a bit."

"Ah, haru! Khow ar yu, American - san?" 

(Ah, hello! How are you, American - San?) - Wait, wait, wait, can anyone explain to me what did this JSDF soldier say to me?

I didn't see Sulivan and Pambo anywhere but saw Cawess, this guy was now lying on the bed as if he wanted to sleep, must call him to follow me.

"Wake up, Cawess! Help me a bit!" - I dragged Cawess out of his bed when he was closing his eyes

"What the fuck? I was having a nap, what the fuck is wrong with you, John!"

Both of us later walked out of the barracks again and then got to the wooden house after a few minutes of walking. While walking to the house, I explained to Cawess the things that I had experienced and he kept listening very carefully, I was about to finish my explanation when both of us were standing in front of the house.

"That woman not just brought to me the silver phone but also the diamond one, but I-" - I was explaining, Cawess! Why did you grab my collar and shake my body non-stop!

"Homies, what do you guys' purpose for calling me here, brothers?" - Pambo ran toward us from behind and then tapped Cawess's shoulder and my shoulder, he behaved like he didn't know anything 

"Pambo...let me lend your phone a bit..." - Pambo heard me say that so he also let me lend his phone

I immediately surfed Pambo's phone to find our group and then tapped it, I immediately checked the chat lines to find the picture that I took. Wait a minute...the pic was still there...but only an empty ground could be seen in the image...sheesh!

I and Cawess started at each other and then stared at the phone's screen again. Both of us were now having a very cold line of shiver running across our bodies, it made the coldest goosebumps that I had ever experienced in my life.
