Rigen's perspective - Present

What a bad dream...tch! I never thought I would have that dream in my sleep. But at least...I have stopped dreaming about what happened during that amphibious assault.

What was Katia's meaning by telling me to find Eris? My daughter has been killed and now she used that sad story to play me? I cannot forgive her!

But...after dreaming for a long time, I have finally returned to the present, as I could remember, 3 months have passed since the invasion.

Now I could feel the smell of Shera, I was now with her, the one who I loved the most, a wife that I always wanted to be with her forever. But I hope that Shera would be happy when she gets married and lives with me, but I know...I must be the one who has to change to make my wife happy.

About my other loved ones, I would do my best to convince Shera to let them love me, though that decision would not be positive but I would do my best to persuade my wife. I was holding Shera while sleeping, that feeling was very good but my body got tapped by someone, it made me unpleasant...I hate to be disturbed.

At the time I opened my eyes and got up from the bed, I felt like something was pressing to my forehead, it seemed to be a metal. In front of me was a figure of a woman who was crouching toward me, the room I was staying in was a bit dark, maybe it was not dawn yet.

But I ignored the darkness of the room and focused on looking at the woman and the thing which was pressing my forehead. I kept focusing on the metal thing and then realized...it was a pistol! That woman wants to kill me or what?

I felt tense after waking up and experiencing this thing, but I kept calm down and tried to figure out who was the woman who was pointing a pistol at my head. My eyes were focusing on getting used to the dark, a few seconds later, I saw that the woman who was crouching before me had short black hair, that was Hatano, she was scaring me...

Hatano was still looking at me in the usual way she always does to the others, always keeping her face emotionless. But I was wondering how could Hatano get inside the Princess's room without being detected, what was Reimi doing outside to let an intruder get here?

"Good morning...Commander...I'm sorry for waking you up, it has just 4:12 AM." - Hatano pulled her pistol out of me and put it on a holster 

"Why did you get here without being detected, Hatano?"

Hatano did not answer my question but kept silent, she later grabbed the study chair on Shera's study table and put it before me and sat on the chair.

"Answer me, Hatano."

"..." - This girl always kept silent, she made me mad a bit but I calmed down

I felt that my right hand was being held very tight by someone, I looked behind and saw that Shera was hugging my hand. Shera was very cute when she was sleeping, I slowly patted her head and then got my hand out, I must ask my subordinate the reason she got here.

"Why did you get here, Hatano? You must answer me how could you get here without being stopped by Reimi?"

"That useless servant...is sleeping...what a useless pathetic...cannot do a single guard."

"She sleeps while... blocking the door...I pulled her out...and then got in here...easily."

"I have known the reason why I live and the aim for my life is taking care of my lovers and my kids. I would raise my kids well until they can live by themselves and enjoy my life with my lovers till I pass away."

"You never want to be successful, Commander?"

"There is no clear definition of successful, why do I have to get stressed and obsessed by seeing others better than me?"

"I only need to be better than myself because I live my life...because when I die, I cannot chase the others' successful or bring my belongings with me to my grave."

"The thing I have left when I die is creating my legacy to let my relatives remember. I will be forgotten when I die but I didn't care, all of us will be...forgotten, it's a matter of time."

"To me...having a normal house, a stable job, a happy family and have good kids, to raise them until they can live happy by themselves is enough to call that is a success."

"Then I would not talk about the uprising anymore...now I hope you would approve me to do something, Commander." - Hatano later sat on the chair

"10.000 Attas to train the troops, to make equipment, training course and the military fund...the rest money...is used for my private purpose." 

"How long would you start to gather and train my troops, Hatano?"

"Nod!" - Hatano suddenly nodded and then made a military salute toward me, she later turned around and left the room without saying a word 

Now this room only had me and Shera, seemed like this time was still early but I think I should not sleep anymore, must wake up. I slowly walked out of the bed and headed to the table which had Advisor and pressed the button to stop Advisor's charging process.

After turning off the charging process, I wore Advisor in my hand but didn't turn it on, it would be a waste for me to do that. I must face its battery, I knew that I was careless to turn this thing up without using it, it was a waste.

I walked onto the bed again and sat on it, I opened the document and flipped each page to check, I would ask Advisor to turn on its flashlight. After hearing my thought, Advisor turned on its flashlight and I lit the light to the texts in the document to read.

After reading the texts in the document for a few minutes, I finally had the details, the information about Warsaw territory a bit. Warsaw territory was quite small, it contained 10 regions: Keris - the Capital city, Veta, Spera, Vakka, Ulra, Stansa, Pelrava, Kvak, Oulga and Nalta. 

All of the regions are now under the King's control because most of the Warsaw Lords have died during the invasion so there is no one except the King to own those lands. Some Lords are alive after the invasion but they are all Prime Minister's friends, which is the thing King Hoster hates the most.

I also saw something that seemed interesting, Warsaw has only 3 big gangs named: Brown Robbers, Wolf Heads and Death Sickles and Hammers.

About Brown Robbers: This gang activity in Veta is the robbers who wear brown and rob the people. Due to corruption with Veta's previous Lord, they can rob poor people freely, the gang hideout is located in a dark alley of Veta town, still active.

About Wolf Heads: This gang activity in the countryside of the Capital city, can be distinguished by the fur clothes and wolf heads of each gangster. This gang is a criminal gang that works for selling drugs and prostitutes, for some reason...Hatano has noted to me that this gang has dissolved.

About Death Sickles and Hammers: This gang activity in the countryside, mostly in every region, can be distinguished by the people who wear red cloaks and hold yellow sickles and hammers. This gang is a heresy that missionaries the beliefs of Communism - the previous beliefs of Warsaw Kingdom which is now considered conservative, toxic and backward.

And for some reason, Hatano also wrote that this gang has also dissolved...she annihilated two gangs or what?

I later put the blue document on the table which was used to place Advisor, Hatano asked me why I didn't check Advisor. Maybe she had already sent this intel to me but I didn't check, then was no need to take any pictures, I would wake up and then do something right away.

I looked back at Shera and then patted her head again, I have finally found my happiness, that's my wife, I must take care of her well. After patting Shera, I wondered how was Reimi, maybe I should go check on her to make sure she was still okay.

I slowly walked out of the bed and opened the door to get outside, at the time I walked outside, I saw Reimi was sleeping on the right side of the wall. She was sleeping in her sitting posture, she was sleeping very deep, I must not disturb Reimi...but I must help her a bit.

According to what Reimi told me, she had a private room in the Palace but she mostly stayed with Princess. She would always sleep outside except for having Shera order her to sleep inside her room.

Poor Reimi...I took off my green military uniform and then used it to cover Reimi's body when she was sleeping, I hope she won't be cold. Maybe I should do some exercise before heading to the bathroom to take the bath, I was quite lazy to work out these days.

I would do 300 pushups in my room for sure, I didn't want to disturb Shera's sleep if I work out in her room. I fastly walked back to my room and...I forgot the document, I walked back to Shera's room and took the document and then walked back to my room.

After walking back to my room, I put the document and Advisor on the bed and then took off my white tank top. It would be very troublesome if I let my clothes be full of my sweat, I took off my tank top and put it on the bed and then...

Should I stretch my body for a few minutes to let my muscles and my bones be flexible first? Maybe not, I would do pushups right away.

I slowly pressed my hands and my legs on the floor and then pressed myself down slowly to do the pushups. There would be no cheat here, motion must be slow and must feel the pressure of my body in each pushup...

Shera's perspective

"Fire." - I cast the spell to activate magic fire, this magic is a basic spell - most of the students are mastered it but I have to say the words to cast it

After a few seconds, a few lights of fire appeared and lit up the lantern, I put my finger out of the lantern's glass and then looked around my room with a lighted lantern. John would usually kiss me or hug me every time I woke up but now he didn't do that and I didn't see him anywhere.
