When we return to the airport, we found all the fighters in various states of exhaustion.
Turning to Tony, I say, "Mr. Stark, I believe you should let them go."
"What?! Why?" He asks, confused by my request.
"Because if you do, I'll tell you where Cap is headed," I answer, nonplussed by his reaction.
I can see the flash of delight in his eyes before logic takes control of his mind, and he asks, "And how do you know where he is headed?"
Knowing that it's time to let the cat out of the bag, I decided to answer with half-truths, "I read their mind while I was watching the fight."
I can see a mix of negative emotions appear on the presents' faces as they hear my words.
"You can read minds?" Asks Tony, astonished by my words.
"Yep, but I usually refrain from doing so. I try to respect people's privacy." I reply, trying to reassure the other heroes that I won't enter their minds.
Struggling between asking more about my powers and Cap's destination, finally, he decides to focus on the last one, asking me, "So, where are they headed?"
"In a Hydra base in Siberia, around 70.27 Nord and 155.47 East, where the other winter soldiers are sleeping," I reply, telling him what I have seen in their minds.
"I'll admit that this is a convenient interrogation technique..." Says Black Widow, that in the meantime has come near us.
Not really caring about her words and knowing what he will find there, I speak again to Tony, "But there is something else that you may want to know."
Seeing my troubled face and hearing my words, he asks me with a confused tone, "Can you please elaborate?"
Deciding to take it slow, I start preparing the stage for the reveal, "I found something that you will hate, and I suspect it will create a gap between you and Cap."
"What did you found?" Asks Tony with a smirk, not believing my words.
Knowing that he will react badly, I decide to make some premises, "I can tell you, but you still need to remember that this is not Mr. Barnes fault, as he was under mind control at that time."
Misunderstanding my words, Tony replies, "Even if the doctor did reprogram him or something, he is still guilty of the death of several people."
Hearing his response, I say back, "I'm not speaking about something recent, I am speaking about something he did in the past."
Confused by my response, he asks again, "Can you simply tell me what did you find?"
Deciding to be direct, I finally answer, "I found that the Hydra used the winter soldier to kill your parents."
Shock and pain assault him, while for a moment, a flash of guilt appears in Natasha's eyes.
Seeing this, I keep explaining what happened that night, "In 1991 he was ordered to kill Edward Stark and bring back the super-soldier serum to create more winter soldiers."
While Tony is still mostly unresponsive after what I said, I continue explaining, intent on letting him know the truth now. "S.H.I.E.L.D has always known that it was a Hydra operation, suspecting Barnes, but they never told you."
"That's true," Natasha says, fully aware that, now that the cat is out of the bag, telling the truth will be the best curse of action.
"So S.H.I.E.L.D has known for so long and never said anything?!" Tony asks, enraged with his companion.
Grimacing at his words, she answers, "We weren't sure, and Fury decided that it was better to not tell you anything, not knowing how you would have reacted."

"You are my friend Nat! You could have told me!" Tony shouts, hurt by what he perceived as a betrayal.
"And what would you have done in that case?" She asks, still sure that withholding the truth would have been a better idea.
"I don't know! I would have hunted him or something!" Tony shouts, hurt and confused after this revelation.
Deciding that he needs to let off steam, I decided to speak again, "And you would have hunted an innocent! He was brainwashed and controlled, forced to things against his will."
"He is still responsible for his actions!" Tony screams, enraged by my words.
"It's a weapon that kills, or it's the hand that uses it?" I reply, trying to use logic against someone fully consumed by his emotions.
"He killed my parents!" Tony replies shouting, but I can see a bit of clarity slowly re-emerging in his eyes.
"And he will atone for that someday, as you will for all the people killed by the weapon you made. " I say, throwing a jab directly to his heart, where the guilt for the Ultron fiasco was gnawing him.
"That's low." Tony cries out.
"Maybe, but vengeance will give you nothing and take everything you hold dear," I reply, knowing that while what I said was terrible, it was the only way to distract him from his rage.
"And what should a kid like you know?!" He asks, trying to move it on personal terms to not think about my words.
"Everything or nothing, it doesn't matter. It only matters that I am right." I reply, knowing that the seed of doubt I planted in him will soon germinate and that maybe things will be different in this world.
"I don't care about what you said! I will learn the truth for myself!" Tony yells before starting his thrusters and flying away toward the base.
Watching Ironman's departure, and knowing that Black Panther will follow him, I start addressing the rest of the people here. "Well, guys, you should take this opportunity and escape. I mean, Rhodey here can't fight, me and Spiderman won't stop you, Black Widow has more or less joined your camp. Considering that Stark and Black Panther have left to go after them, only Vision here may try to stop you."
"I won't." The synthezoid says.
"Really?" Wanda asks from between his arms.
Pondering his words for a moment, Vision finally answers, "I nearly killed Colonel Rhodes a couple of minutes ago because I wrongly used my powers. I never thought that my ideas could be wrong. Maybe I was wrong in accepting the accords. I need to think about it, so I won't bother you if you escape in the next minutes."
"So we won't go to prison?" Scott asks, still laying down where he landed after our fight.
Seeing that the situation was going in the right direction, I stop the conversation, pointing out the obvious. "In a couple of minutes the authorities will arrive, and they will arrest everyone that has not signed the accords here. So I will leave with my friend before our involvement gets public. Mr. Burton and Mr. Leng and Ms. Maximoff, you should do the same before your participation became public knowledge."
"Won't our involvement became public all the same after someone watches some camera registration?" Asks Scott, already been used to being arrested.
"I am sure that Vision here will destroy them, after all, if no one talks and they have no proof, they will not be able to arrest us," I reply while nodding to the synthezoid, hoping that his desire to protect Wanda will push him to help us.
"Your idea makes sense, but it's based on the supposition that no one will talk." Vision replies, unsure of the feasibility of my plan.
"Mr. Stark will be easily persuaded, and king T'Chaka won't speak," I say, certain of my idea.
"Why?" The synthezoid asks, curiosity evident on his face.
Smirking at his words, I reply, "He knows I have read his mind and know his secrets, he won't talk."
