"Sig, why you are wearing a pink Onesie!? And why you have a body pillow made in my image?!" Peter shouts after having thrown out my covers.

I can only blush at this situation.

As I never expected someone to enter my room, today I wore the most comfortable thing I had, in this case, a pink onesie.

For the body pillow, the story is slightly different, as this is something that my body made before I gained control of it. The more embarrassing thing is that my body was so accustomed to sleeping with it, that now I can't fall asleep without its form in my embrace.

"That's not what it looks like..." I stutter, embarrassed by the situation.

"Really? Because it seems to me that you are sleeping with a pillow made in my image, and that's creepy." He replies, confused that his best friend was sleeping with a pillow made in his image.

"Ok, it's like it looks like, but it's not creepy," I try to defend myself, unsure of how to salvage the situation.

"I disagree, what will you feel if I slept with a pillow made in your image?" He asks, trying to understand the reasons beyond my actions.

"I will be happy because that would mean that you find my presence calming enough to help you fall asleep," I say, blushing a bit while I imagine the scene that he painted.

Confusion and embarrassment creep on his face while he replies, "If you say so."

I take his uncertainty as a good sign before confirming my words, "I do."

A long silence starts between us until Peter decides to ask another question, "You still have to answer some questions, like why did you want me to get bitten by that spider at Oscorp?"

Both happy and tense I start answering, "I am not too sure about it, I mean, it felt like the right thing to do. I knew that you will gain superpowers and that you will become a great hero in the future, so I decided to let destiny run its course."

"...I am not against what happened, but I would have preferred to be informed of it before and not after the accident." He starts reassuring me, probably seeing the worry that appeared on my face while thinking about my previous actions.

Seeing his sympathetic face, I decided to promise him something, "I understand, and that's why I will tell you when I will see something important in the future ties to you."

"Really?" He asks, surprised by my words and excited about the possibilities.

"Sure, but trust me, is better to not know the future most of the time," I advise him, fully knowing that knowledge of the future can be both inaccurate and frustrating.

"Why?" He inquires, not understanding the dread of knowing.

"Because knowing something will happen to take away the value of that moment, making it less beautiful to be lived," I answer, convinced not to rely on this power If I can.

"That's deep, but I still want to know things that regard me," he replies, non knowing that he will change his opinion soon enough.

"Ok, if I see something I'll tell you, but I'll try to not see the future when I can," I conclude, not wanting to continue this conversation on possibilities.

"But Sig, won't that leave you powerless?" Peter asks, worried about me.

"No? I mean, being able to see the future is only a small part of my powers." I reply, remembering that we never really talked about superpowers.

"Wait, what?! You never told me that!" Peter shouts, excitement and curiosity appearing on his face.

"To be truthful, you throw me out the moment that you discovered I did not tell you about the spider, so I didn't tell you what I can do," I answer, scratching my chin while I explain.

"So what can you do?" He asks, now fully interested in discovering my powers.

"It's kind of complicated, but to keep it simple, my body is better than normal, stronger, faster, and with better senses. At the same time, I have psychic powers, that I could use to do things like telekinesis, telepathy, precognition, teleportation, and a bit of shapeshifting. But if I can't control them very well," I explain while taking a couple of stuffed animals and moving than in the air to impress him.

"Wow, that's incredible, and what I will be able to do?" Peter asks with stars in his eyes, hoping to be able something similar to what I can do.

"You will have super strength, senses, and reflexes. You will gain the ability to sense danger and to attach yourself to surfaces as you did in your bedroom." I reply with a smug smile on my face, knowing that my power was cooler than his.

"They seem kind of lame if I compare them with yours," admits Peter, realizing my superiority.

His pouting face is so cute...

Not wanting to see him sad, I decide to try to cheer him up, speaking of things he would be able to use in the future, "Don't sell yourself short, I am sure you will be able to add other things to your power that will help you, like a web shooter or a technological suit."

He seems confused by my words, asking me, "Why should I use a web shooter? And obviously, a suit like Ironman will be cool, but no one else has anything like that."

"Well, I believe that moving between buildings using web strings, or tieing criminals with webs is the reason about the web-shooters," I answer, trying to introduce the techniques he will use in the future.

Peter takes a couple of seconds to ponder my words before telling me his opinion, "I'll admit that's kind of cool, and will go really well with the spider teme."

"Indeed," I reply, knowing that his mind was already trying to figure how to build his tools.

Seeing the smirk that has appeared on my face, he says, "But I doubt I will be able to create something like that so easily."

"But you will make it, using salicylic acid, toluene, methanol, carbon tetrachloride, potassium carbonate, and ethyl acetate. You will take the materials from school after we return from the winter break and devise a more precise formula, then store in CO2 cans from the school's woodshop garage and..." I answer, knowing how the future him, or the alternative him as this point, will create the web formula.

"Stop," he groans, sounding like a kid that has his toy taken away from him.

"What?" I ask, a smile appearing on my face.

Peter seems uncomfortable, recognizing the validity of my words on precognition, "Now I can understand why you said that knowing the future will make most of the moments pointless. I mean, finding the right formula would have been so fun, and now you take all the joy out of it."

"I told you, knowing things beforehand is boring," I reply smugly, watching his face as the clogs of his mind start to spin with the new information.

Knowing that he will soon go on an inventor spree, I say, " well, now that I have explained myself and that you had forgiven me, shall we discuss what to do from now on?"

"What do you mean?" He asks, dumbfounded by my question.

"I know that you want to start going around helping people, but shouldn't we train or something first?" I reply, asking him for future plans.

Peter starts pondering on my words before telling me, "Oh... That makes sense, I haven't tried my powers after all, and I don't have a way to restrain any criminal even if we found them..."

While he starts listing what we need, an idea flashes into my mind, "And we don't have a costume!"

"A costume? I know that we don't want people to recognize us, but a mask should be enough..." Peter says, watching my expression with a must of confusion and fear.

"A hero must have a costume!" I reply, knowing how bad will his costume be without my help.

"But we don't have anything to make a costume of," he replies, scared of my expression.

With a sardonic grin, I say, "Well, I have an idea..."

Pete, I am sure your ass will look really tasty inside a spandex costume...
