The beautiful girl with gorgeous dress stood as she observed her surroundings. Her heterochromia eyes were scanning life near her vicinity.

The battle of the elves party with Remmy resulted with several injured with terrible wound for the elves. However, there was no fatal damage to both sides.

Remmy's breath was short as her outfit was covered with filthy dirts. Her shoulder was wounded with a fresh sharp scar, presumably from the arrows shot by the elves. Nevertheless, she kneeled towards the girl in front of her with devotion.

The divine girl stared towards Remmy with a smile. Her eyes were filled with relaxed expression.

"Remmy, was it? I'm glad I could meet you again." The girl smiled with purity as she talked.

Remmy felt compelled to respond. Her eyes were filled with indescribable emotion as she tried to talk.

"Yes, Miss Goddess Lily." Remmy answered.

The entire forest went quiet as Remmy talked. Remmy tried her best to stay calm in the presence of the beautiful girl.

The elves party was shocked to hear Remmy and the heavenly girl conversation. They looked at Remmy with astonishment.

"How long was it? You've grown to a fine lady. The last time I've saw you, you were still a child." The girl said. Her way of talking sounded angelic. Her smile felt warm as it sent a comfort through everyone.

"I believe it's been eight hundred years since you've saved me from the great demon war, Miss Goddess Lily." Remmy answered.

Wow, she's really old, I secretly thought. The sense of time felt quite different than earth. Nevertheless, I couldn't care less about whatever they were talking about. I was still wearing the cat hooded pajama. It's a comfortable wear, but I really wanted to wash myself at a spring bath and changed to my usual middle school uniform.

"Can we have the continue the chit-chat at a different time? I really wanted to visit Remmy's spring bath." I said with lazy tone.

Remmy and the elves were enraged at my casual remark. The handsome elf gave a spite look as he said "How dare such a lowly cat talk like that."

Kara simply observed the Goddess in front of her curiously as her gaze switched to mine. The said Goddess sighed as she stared at her surroundings.

"All of you can stop kneeling, I've only come to visit this realm for a little bit." The Goddess said. Her attitude and behavior felt as sweet as pure sugar.

Kara and the others didn't stop kneeling. Even the animals around us were looking at the Goddess with a sincere eyes as if they worshipped her.

"Th-that's not possible, Miss Goddess Lily. Your divine presence would be hard to stood upon." The handsome elf said with fearful eyes.

The Goddess in question could only sighed at the response of the handsome elf. She stared him right in the eyes with a questioning look.

"What is your name, young man?" The Goddess asked.

"I-I'm Gray van Freljord. The prince of The Great Elven Silvrout Kingdom." Gray answered.

The Goddess looked at him with a smile. Her eyes gazed towards the distance as her expression felt warmth and nostalgic.

"Silvrout Kingdom. The last time I saw it, the entire kingdom was in chaos from the great demon war. I wonder how it's doing right now." The Goddess pondered.

"Thanks to your protection and blessing; we've managed to regain our footing. The elves rose up to be the strongest tribe on this entire continent." The prince boldly declared.

Kara gave a sour look at the prince's proud statement. The Goddess simply gave him a judging stare; her eyes gave an unconvincing look.

"I certainly remember saving the Silvrout Kingdom before the demons annihilated the entirety of elven race. However, the mouse tribes and others were the one who dealt with the demon lord and his army. What happened to the Literra Kingdom and the mouse tribes?" The Goddess gave a questioning look.

"E-excuse my rudeness, Miss Goddess Lily. Sadly, Literea Kingdom had fallen" Kara quickly answered sorrowfully. She still kneeled with conflicting emotion as she answered.

The Goddess turned her eyes to search the source of the adorable voice. Kara's little ears twitched shyly after the Goddess made an eye contact with her.

"Who might you be, little girl?" The Goddess asked.

"My name is Kara. I was the princess of Literea Kingdom." Kara replied.

"How exactly did the Literea Kingdom fall, dear Kara?" The Goddess asked once again. Kara shivered at the question.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't sure exactly what happened. The only thing I could remember was the entire kingdom were caught in fire. People were running out of the kingdom, and before I knew it; I was captured." Kara explained. She took a deep breath before continuing. "There were chaos everywhere. The event took place with heavy thunderstorm, there were lightning everywhere. However, I couldn't see anyone attacking, only people running away."

The Goddess gave a disappointing sigh. Her eyes were clouded in sadness. Everyone that saw her felt an incredible jolt of pain emotionally after they saw the Goddess with a sad expression. Some animals even shed a little tear as if representing the sadness of a divine Goddess.

"I see... It's such a shame. Literea Kingdom was supposed to be the haven of different races to live together. It was a nation that was born to unite all the races on this world to fight against the demon king." The Goddess sighed.

Hearing that, Kara gave a lonely bittersweet smile. As the former princess of her kingdom, she must've studied her nation's history extensively.

The Goddess walked closer towards Kara. Everyone was watching with closely. The Goddess pat Kara's head with a gentle smile. Kara was surprised at first. Nevertheless, her expression relaxed a little after receiving the Goddess pat.

I watched the entire interaction with envy. I gave a somewhat jealous look towards the Goddess. Perhaps she took notice as the Goddess pulled her hand away.

"You must've had it rough, huh. I hope the elves were treating you well." The Goddess said with carefree smile.

The entire forest fell into a deep silence. The elves frowned at the Goddess casual remark. Remmy bit her lips with a frustrated smile. The prince was sweating profusely as he stared Kara down. The Goddess was confused with the sudden change in atmosphere.

Kara gave a complicated smile as the Goddess stared at her. Kara tried to say something before seeing the elf prince gave a disgusting threat motion towards her behind the Goddess back.

Kara hesitated at first after seeing the elf's threat. However, her determined look was overpowering her fear. I tried to think something to encourage her up.

I used my power to summon a random heavy cabbage a couple of metres above the elven prince. A simple thud could be heard as the cabbage fell towards the elven head. Unfortunately, It didn't knock him out.

Kara turned her head towards me with surprised expression. Nevertheless, she smiled cheerfully after she saw me giving her a thumbs up.

Kara took a deep breath. Her eyes were focused. She looked at the Goddess in front of her with an uneasy look.

"A-After Literea Kingdom fell into ruin. I stood still at the outskirts of the city as I watched people fleeing in chaos. Th-that was when those guys casted a sleeping magic and kidnapped me." Kara explained as her finger pointed out at the elf group. Her wrists were shaking as she talked. She glanced towards the prince elf with fearful eyes.

The elven group shrunk in fear at Kara's words. The Goddess looked at them with a rather emotionless eyes.

"From there on, I started to work as slave at the castle of Silvrout Kingdom for months. People were... cruel at treating me. Until one day, Remmy found out about my whereabout and rescued me." Remmy explained further. The Goddess listened at Kara's words with deep sorrow in her eyes.

Suddenly, a sharp object flew towards the prince elf with inconceivable speed. It barely missed the prince's head as the knife grazed his cheek.

"Ah, sorry. My hand slipped." I said playfully, while holding three more throw knives I summoned.

The elf Gray stared at me with horrific eyes. His fear turned into anger in a snap of a moment. He yelled, "Wh-what are you doing, you damn cat!"

I gave an exasperated sigh at his behavior. I looked at Kara as she saw the scene folding out with her eyes. She looked quite indifferent.

Hearing Kara's story, I suddenly remembered the first time we've met at the forest. She was in awful condition. I couldn't fathom how such an innocent little girl like her could suffer like this.

I had half the power of the universe. I could simply just killed them at the speed of light. However, I calmed myself down by taking a deep breath. The knives I was holding dissipated into oblivion. Kara saw my behavior with complicated gaze. Nevertheless, she continued her story even further.

"U-um, and then I-I got separated from Remmy. I ran as fast as I could towards Remmy's house which was our rendezvous place through the forest of shi. I k-kept walking through the forest. A lot of monsters a-attacked me, even so I barely e-escaped through all of them." Kara stuttered as she speak. Her eyes were teary.

Kara's wounds when we first met was fresh. I remembered her scared expression. Her determination to not wanna die. I remembered everything I saw with my own eyes. All of the sudden, my hatred towards the elven party in front of me grew stronger. Nevertheless, I kept on listening to Kara.

"I was starving, so I tried to take random fruits that had fallen towards the ground. I-it was terrible. It felt nauseating. Even then, I continued to walk towards the forest while consuming everything I found, and learning the food I could eat, and couldn't eat." Kara's eyes were no longer hiding her tears. Tiny droplets of water dropped down from Kara's eyes as she spoke.

The Goddess simply listened to Kara's words with attentive look. She looked quite indifferent with her expression. However, her eyes were filled with pity.

"That's when Miss Yuzu saved me. She kindly escorted me into Remmy's house, and well, rest is history." Kara concluded her story with a smile and crying expression. Her eyes were completely overflowed with tears as she stared towards me. I patted Kara's head gently. She gave a warmth tear smile as response.

Everyone listened at Kara's recital with various look. Remmy gave a sad smile hearing Kara's story. The Goddess gave an exasperated sighed as she looked at Kara.

"Yuzu, huh?" The Goddess muttered with low voice. She took a quick glance at me. Nonetheless, she immediately removed her glance after I stared at her eyes as a response. I could see her cheek was visibly red, perhaps she was angry at the nearby elves besides her.

Everyone besides me were still in their kneeling position. It must be quite hard on their knee, yet no one complained. No one dared to make a noise except for Kara's occasional sniffles. The Goddess simply stared at the elves with a judging look.

"Dear Kara, the former princess of Literea Kingdom. You have my blessing to punish whoever hurt you." The Goddess said.

Kara blankly stared at the Goddess, still flowing tears in her eyes. I continued to pat her as she formed an answer.

"I... I don't want to hurt anybody. I just want our nation back. I will rebuild it. I want to make a nation where everyone lived together in harmony. I will do everything for it. That's my only wish, and dream." Kara answered with a smile on her lips. After a few moments passed by, Kara's eyes were no longer flowing with tear. Instead, her eyes were filled with determination.

"Dear elves who hurt the princess of Literea Kingdom, what do you have to say about yourselves?" The Goddess asked. Her heterochromia eyes were staring at the elves, specifically the prince elf coldly.

The elves could only silently waited for its leader to take charge in answering the question. The prince in question was shivering in fear at the presence of the goddess standing in front of him.

"I-I, uh, I was following, um, someone's order. Ah, that's right! It's those damn cats! They told us the next demon lord was being awakened, and the mouse kin blood would help us defeat the new demon lord. I didn't do anything wrong, it's those cats that caused trouble, like her!" The handsome elf answered in panic while pointing his finger at me. His cold sweat was visible.

The Goddess sighed at the sight of the prince elf. She stared at him coldly with blank expression.

"Do you know why I came here? The reason why I showed myself into this world once more? Even though I secluded myself from this mortal plane for over eight hundred years? Ever since the great demon war?" The Goddess threw a barrage of question at the prince elf.

Everyone nearby grew a curious look towards the Goddess. If she hadn't visited this world for over eight hundred years, that seems like quite an irresponsible thing to do for a Goddess known as the Goddess of Life.

The Goddess walked closer towards me. Everyone observed the event with high anticipation. The sun flew high in the sky as it gave a hot sunlight towards the ground.

The once comfortable hooded pajama that I was wearing felt unbearable with the sun high in the sky. I sweated a lot while wearing the hooded pajama, so I simply took the hood off to let the air flew right by my face.

Everyone except the Goddess and Kara had a shocked expression in their eyes. I couldn't care less about their thoughts, but it felt uncomfortable to be stared upon a lot of people.

"You're... not a catgirl?" The prince elf exclaimed. He took a moment before continuing, "Who... are you?"

Some of the elves had a horrified expression while the others were simply confused. The Goddess kept walking with a bigger smile on her lips after she saw me taking my hood off.

Kara was smiling at the sight of the Goddess walking closer as if she knew something good would happen. She gave me a sudden thumbs up as if she was a mother approving her daughter's boyfriend.

Nor long after, the Goddess was standing so close in front of me. I could feel her pure aura just by standing near her. I looked at her with a confused expression. She suddenly threw herself towards me with a childish expression.

"Aaah, Sis! I wuv you! Please gib me a hug! I can't believe I can feel you. This is the best gift ever!" The Goddess exclaimed with a childish tone while clinging into me adorably.
