It was 9:15 am when Capella showed up at the airport. It still took her fifteen minutes to check in, and as she had no luggage on her, she easily crossed the security gate in the departure hall. Capella went to one of the empty chairs available in the hall and patiently awaited her departure time. Even though the hall was packed, the area around Capella was completely free of all hustle and bustle because no one was sitting on either side of her and the chairs in front were empty. Selen also stood behind her charge, warding off any pests who might approach.

"Selen, you do realize it is a public space," Capella stated softly, looking up at her bodyguard.

"It may be, but it is my job to ensure that you do not get caught in anything troublesome," Selen replied.

"I am quite sure a bodyguard's job is to ensure my safety, not scare away people."

"That may be the case, but stranger danger is the most common teaching given to anyone, and everyone here is a stranger to you."

"It may be, but what if your significant other were to be among this crowd? Would he then be a stranger to you?"

"Yes, he will be a stranger because we have never interacted before and neither do we know the other person's name or appearance, and this assumes I will have a significant other, which is highly unlikely," Selen answered.

Capella looked at the 22-year-old young woman, standing at 190 cm, with shoulder-length bob-cut blonde hair, deep green irises, and a fit, well-trained body that could not be hidden under the suit and pants she wore. Selen could feel Capella's gaze on her, but chose to ignore it as she continued observing the crowd. This was until Selen heard the words that came out of her charge's lips

"It's sad to think a woman of your looks and age is already thinking of spending her life dedicated to her job. Maybe I should tell Father that I need a new bodyguard."

Selen was completely stunned, unsure how to react to those words as her mind raced, trying to figure out how to get out of this mess, when Capella burst out laughing. "Hahahaha, I'm just joking; there's no way I will get you fired," Capella says, laughing uncontrollably. Selen's face suddenly became indescribable, as this was the first time the young miss had ever made a joke like this. As the only child of the world's third-richest man, the young miss was raised in a cold household, with her father rarely at home and her mother having died in childbirth. She grew up with a very closed-off and cold personality because she was only surrounded by nannies and caretakers. Selen has been serving as Capella's attendant and bodyguard for the past five years, and has been working in the Amery household since the age of 12.

She first thought that the young miss was being talkative because she wanted to keep her mind off the fact that she had to move across the globe to a different continent due to her father's orders. But the present situation suggested otherwise, and Selen could not help asking, "Young Miss are you by any chance feeling under the weather?"

Capella could not help smiling at the question and replied, "Do I look like I have a fever to you?"

Selen knew that was not the case, but she could not shake off the feeling that the young miss seemed to have changed a lot in a day.

"Well, there is no point in worrying about it since our flight is already here," Capella said as she stood up. She headed for the boarding gate, with Selen following behind her. After reaching the boarding gate, they went through one final security check and had their tickets confirmed before they were ushered into first class.

The flight from country X to country Z takes three hours forty-five minutes. So after getting into the plane and waiting for fifteen minutes, it was exactly 10:00 am and time for the plane to take off. Capella fell back into her seat and gradually closed her eyes as the plane took off, becoming lost in thought as she reminisced about what she had been through and had seen for ten millennia.
