The Rev Academy, the highest academy of the Amanta Empire.

As for the Academy, I could assure you, it was Amanta’s pride and history.

The first emperor planned and established this country from that location.

Right at the entrance was the slogan ‘Those who did not attend the Rev Academy will not be able to leave their names in the history of the Amanta Empire’ proudly displayed!

“Finally, the oldest Young Master will come back tomorrow.”

Hugo, who stood on the low podium, called out the morning roll call when the servants gathered before starting their work in earnest.

His face, which had been solemn, opened up a bit when he spotted me, and he was back to normal in no time.

“Now, I want you all to stay alert until the end, and make sure you’re in your positions.”

“Yes, sir!”

As soon as Hugo’s instructions were over, the servants busily dispersed.

As it has been these days, they were filled with spirit.

Even then I wondered if it was necessary to be so nervous that the 11 year-old young Master was returning home. But when I thought of him as a future president of a company suddenly making an appearance at the workplace, it suddenly made sense to me.

Yeah, long-term livelihood was very important. Fight for your life.

I watched them for a while, until Hugo approached me.

“You woke up early again today, Miss.”

“Yeah, I tried to make an effort. I knew it would be difficult to wake up later.”

I tried to oversleep because of Wolfgang, who kept talking about my height whenever I saw him, but I failed heroically in the end.

Like the original me, who was properly trained, and like Aisha, who lived in the temple, I was used to waking up early rather than lazing in bed.

“Oh, it’s 9 o’clock. I’ll be going then!”

When I saw the time, I waved to Hugo, and ran to the Duke’s room on the second floor.

It had already been three weeks since I’d started to live at the Bastion’s mansion as a maid, not maid.

If anyone asked if there was any progress in my long-cherished desire.

‘It’s there, but I don’t know where it is. I’ll answer like that.’

Oh, I was sure it was there. I just couldn’t find where it was.

With my heart in my mouth, I opened the most gorgeous and heavy door in the hallway.

After adjusting my voice for a while in the glittering front room, I passed through the bedroom door with dignity.

From here, it would be better to charge towards the bed so as to gain momentum. And just like that, DIVE!

“Wake up!”

“….”

“Wake up, picky father-in-law candidate! Cutie Aisha is here!”

I yelled loudly as I landed exactly on Wolfgang Bastion, then rolled away.

He frowned and buried his face in his pillow, but it was a useless rebellion.

I rolled around and whispered clearly, small but close to his ear.

“If you don’t wake up, you’ll be eating Uncle Sanchez’s special broccoli soup.”

Without leaving a single drop, CLEAN.

Wolfgang then stood up quickly, with me clinging to his back.

Sanchez’s broccoli soup seemed to be very hated. It only tasted good to me.

I slid down his wide back like it was a tree, then I grabbed the arm of the staggering Wolfgang Bastion.

Because there was such a big difference in height, it seemed like I was hanging rather than supporting, but it really was supporting.

Honestly, I didn’t know if this was really necessary, but I would always do it properly.

Otherwise, Wolfgang would hit the floor so hard he’d penetrate into the basement.

We exited the bedroom slower than a sleepwalker, and went straight to the bathroom.

“Wash your face with cold water. Don’t doze off in the bathtub again.”

I opened the bathroom door while I nagged him, and pushed him inside.

The next thing to do was to take out the clothes Wolfgang would change into from his pajamas.

When the second door was opened from the right of the front room, a brilliant dress room appeared.

When I first saw it, I was looking for clothes and said the day would be over before I found anything. A few weeks later, I was able to move around skillfully.

This side was the shirts, and this side was the pants. That side was an underwear compartment, so I couldn’t open it recklessly. I have business ethics too.

As I pulled out a white shirt and black pants that looked reasonably safe, a moist Wolfgang walked in.

I should leave again, to protect my business ethics, and retreat outside for a while.

Sometimes I thought that although I’m only nine years old, I could do without the business ethics, but the moral twenty-two year old woman inside of me barely managed to offer up a red card to myself.

Click

Like last time, I applauded Wolfgang, who came out right away instead of dozing off on the sofa in the dressing room.

“You’re so cool today too, picky father-in-law candidate.”

“…Please take out the word picky, daughter-in-law candidate.”

A strange electricity splashed between me and Wolfgang.

It was exactly six days ago when he provoked me by calling me ‘chunky daughter-in-law candidate’.

As I was about to cry, I just gave it back to him, too.

“Father-in-law candidate is a childish picky eater!”

I naturally found out while eating together a few times, but Wolfgang didn’t eat vegetables at all.

On the first day we had breakfast together, I expressed that he was eating like a jaguar, remember?

In a way, those words were right. He ate only meat, just like a jaguar.

Wolfgang, who narrowed his eyes, smiled and asked as if it was routine.

“Breakfast.”

“I ate earlier. Father-in-law candidate, please eat alone.”

“Eat again.”

“No, I feel like my stomach is going to explode, and I need to go help Uncle Tony now.”

“…And finally to the stables.”

I winked and flashed my finger heart at him as he mumbled defeatedly as if I had cracked open the last fortress.

“So, good luck today. Later, during teatime, this lovely Aisha will bring you lots of cookies to feed you!”

Wolfgang’s face turned pale with joy.

Is it really that good? I like it too.

I escorted him to the dining room with a bright smile on my face, then I ran off to the stables without a moment’s delay.

Spin

I spun around and avoided the protruding leg that was trying to trip me, just like a ballerina.

I even made an elegant pose, the owner of the leg trembled with a face full of anger.

You’ve never really developed either. It’s the same number every day.

“Hello, Sister Vivi. I guess your leg has a mind of it’s own again today.”

“Th-that’s right! Unlike you, my legs do what they want!”

“I see. I’m glad to hear that. Then it won’t hurt even if it’s broken.”

She stepped back with a pale face at my joke.

I was just joking. What was she freaking out about?

When I gave a low laugh, Vivi took another step back.

It was the third week since I arrived at the Bastion House, and it was also the third week that I suffered from Vivi’s silly antics.

Well, even though it was a squabble, it was generally enough to laugh over.

Even if she was feisty and spiteful in her own way, wasn’t she still a child in the end?

As you could see, the way she bullied me was one-dimensional, such as sticking her foot out unexpectedly while I was walking. Even then, Vivi was also terminally busy, so she didn’t have time to try very often.

“Hey, Vivi! Bring this to the laundry!”

The voice of a senior servant, who had just been looking for her from afar, spoke with a tone of urgency and displeasure.

“You, you’re lucky. Next time, I’m really not going to let you go!”

“Yes, yes, hurry up and go.”

When I waved my hand like I was chasing a bug away, she quickly disappeared with a huff.

Phew. After sighing, I hurried on my way.

As I slipped out of the mansion and walked along the garden pathway for a while, I suddenly looked around.

“It’s spring.”

Late winter was already over. It wasn’t too cold, and there were a few new green shoots growing on the tree branches.

“Spring, spring, spring spring, spring is here.”

I walked forward, while I hummed a song, until I reached the stable at the end of a side path.

The place looked so huge and sturdy that I thought it was a villa when I first saw it.

Apparently, Wolfgang and the two young master’s liked horseback riding, so they spared no expense on horse-related matters.

Besides, I couldn’t imagine how luxurious this place would be, even though it was only a stable in the countryside.

Tony, the stable hand, noticed I was here, opened the door and came out.

“Mr. Tony!”

“Aisha, you’re here!”

Tony welcomed me with a haggard face. I grabbed his hand, and quickly dragged him into the stable.

Wolfgang probably thought I’d beguiled Tony first, but this time it was the opposite.

Tony, who accidentally saw me playing with the wolves, lured me in first.

The reason was because of a child lying down on a pile of straw.

I quietly went into the barn and said hello.

“Hi, Queensbury.”

“Whiny.”

“Yes, it’s me. How are you doing today?”

The black mare, who was doing her best to just say hello, closed her eyes. I felt sorry for her.

“As expected, it’s hard because of the labor.”

My eyes drooped as I gently patted Queensbury’s swollen belly.

The pregnancy period for a mare was 11 months.

The mare named Queensbury was about to deliver after all that time.

“It must be hard, but let’s drink some water, okay?”

Queensbury had been refusing food and water for a couple of days, so I pushed a long mouthed water bottle towards her.

Queensbury, who had been languishing, took a few sips at my request. Tony’s face, which had been filled with trepidation that the mare would refuse, brightened.

Among animals, a particular sensitive species was the horse. This mare, Queensbury, was said to be very sensitive.

Because of that, as the delivery date neared, even Tony couldn’t convince her. But with my help, I was able to take care of at least some things.

I forced the listless Queensbury to eat some sugar cubes, and began to clean up the surrounding straw.

I pushed it out to the aisle with a pitch fork, and Tony took it away, then handed me the clean straw.

I carefully spread the straw around Queensbury as if I were cleaning a futon. Outside the stall, Tony had happy news.

“I think the foal will come tonight, or at the latest, tomorrow around dawn.”

“Really?”

I looked at Tony and Queensbury alternately, then I declared what I had been thinking for a long time.

“Then I’ll sleep here today.”

“What?”

“Can’t I?”

“No, I’d appreciate it if you did that for me.”

I smiled brightly at Tony, who looked apologetic.

“Then, could you compliment me in front of the duke?”

“I wouldn’t be able to stop at one, my mouth would dry out.”

“Mr. Cole!”

Although my progress with the duke was ambiguous, the recruitment of colleagues has been smooth since Benjamin.

I got along well with all of the mansion’s servants, except for Vivi. I had worked hard to raise my reputation by helping the other workers like this.

By the way, Rule of Life 2: Sir Kyle the Knight was really handsome. Did I mention that he was 15 years old now? Even though he was still young, I could see his sprouting splendidness.

The knights said that he wasn’t very social and he didn’t talk very much, but that his good manners had resonated with the maids.

The next best, Sir Josh and Sir Bishop, were also cool.

And Lord Winston, who lit a strange fire in one girl’s chest, was also… Well, the closer I looked, the cooler he was.

“Aisha, you should get going.”

“Already? Ah, You’re right.”

Time flew by when I talked to Tony, who was lonely because he’d worked alone as he took care of and comforted the suffering pregnant mare.

“Then I’ll be back in the evening. See you later, Queensbury!”

I waved goodbye to Tony, Queensbury, and the other horses as I ran out of the stable.

There were two roles in which I was designated as the only one who had nothing better to do.

It was Wolfgang’s wake-up and teatime.

I rushed up to the office with a tray of snacks from the kitchen, but I bumped into Benjamin at the door of all places.

“Where have you been?”

“I was at the stables. There’s a pregnant horse, so I went there to help.”

“I see.”

I said this, and Benjamin stared at me. Unlike his dull appearance, his eyes sparkled.

The way he looked at me, as if he was trying to press me for something, caused me to finally open my mouth.

“…Why is it so hard to say ‘pregnant’?”

“Why?

“Because you need to pause.”

I left the laughing Benjamin behind, and entered the office with a cold face.

‘Oh, I want to lock the door.’
