Ah! My head hurts, dammit! What just happened to me? I...I was with Shera, yeah! 

I was with her, she was confessing to me about something then a big explosion came out, everyone had been sucked into it, also me and her.

"Princess, where are you?" - I felt that I was lying on the ground so I suddenly stood up and watched around for Shera

What the hell was this? Where I was standing right now? I was standing in a room, it looked to be a room of a normal US household. 

I looked out of the windows, nothing out there, just a dark around it.

Then I looked and went around the house to find more, going down the stair, the house was decorated like a normal US house. But there was nothing here except rooms and rooms, no furniture.

"Princess, where are you?"

"Are you around here, Princess? Please come out!"

I shouted as loud as I could to wait for a response from Shera, no one answered, did I just get here after the explosion? But where was Shera? Did I get here alone?

"Don't be so worried, John Rigen!" - A voice came out behind me but that was not Shera's voice, who could it be?

Then I looked behind, that was a woman with long blonde hair, her eyes were both closed, this woman, I saw her somewhere but I didn't remember that I had met her.

"Sigh! You just have forgotten the one who created you so soon? We just have met not than a week ago!" - This woman...Katia?

"Oh, so you've remembered me! Good job" - She could read my mind?

"Well, that's right!"

"Where is Shera? Where is she? What happened to the people who got sucked into that barrier? If that Princess isn't with me then how can she take care of herself on her own?"

"John Rigen, listen to me carefully! I have a bit of a message to send you."

"John, you and that little Princess will have a long time together from now on, it's long to you, to me is short, try to take care of that Princess until the thing comes, she's very kind to you."

"What do you mean by "the thing"?"

"Wait! What is this house exactly? The first time I got here was just a dark around, now this is a house!"

My body was now sucked away, I could only see Katia with both of my eyes blurred when I got away from her.

"Answer me dammit! Katia! Katia! Katia! Katia!" - I shouted loud to that Goddess

Then my body felt heavy and I lost consciousness

"Sir Rigen! Sir Rigen! Please wake up! Please wake up! Crying!" - I heard a woman's voice call me and also crying sounds

I slowly opened my eyes, that was Shera, who called me, she was now crying non-stop, trying to call me up while lowing her head to my chest to cry.

"I'm awake, Princess! I'm awa-" - Shera suddenly hugged me and cried

"Uwaah! Uwaah! Sir Rigen, Reimi! My father! They have been sucked into that explosion! I don't know where they go!" - Shera was now crying louder

"Don't cry, Princess! My subordinates were also in that same situation too, don't cry, don't cry! I'm here with you, don't cry!"

Then I slowly stood up while hugging Princess, I looked around the place. We were now inside a forest with big trees and bushes around the place, which seemed to be very dense. 

The trees were so high so the sunlight was now surfing down them, away from us was a river that flowing around. We were now standing on a trail had the same direction as the river, I wondered where it led us to.

"Princess, do you know where we are?" - Though that question would be useless either way

"No, Sir Rigen! When I awake while you are passing out, we have already here." - So Shera didn't move anywhere but waited for me until I woke up?

"Did you go around this place before I got up, Princess?"

"No!" - Shera had now calmed down a bit, there were some tears remained in her eyes but she had stopped crying

"Stick with me, Princess! I don't want to get lost, no! I don't want you to get lost will be more rightly."

Then Shera made a nod, I started looking around for more, there were bushes and trees around, only a trail led to somewhere that we didn't know, maybe I should follow the trail to get more info.

I didn't bring Advisor with me, I didn't bring any weapon, all I have in my body now were my military uniform and my jungle boots. I stepped with Shera closer to the river, it had a lot of fish swimming along the river.

Maybe I should teach Shera about some basic things, at least to teach her to know how to survive in a forest.

"Princess, remember what I will teach you carefully, if you got lost in the forest, set the priority to find a river or a place that has water." 

"If we don't eat, we may have the chance to survive in three or four weeks depending on our health but with water, we only have three days."

"Nod! Nod!" - Good, Shera! Try to remember as much as you could

"Princess, if you can't hunt animals when you got lost in a forest, collect the fruits in the trees or the nuts on the bushes to eat. Absolutely do not pick up mushrooms even if you see them safe, they are dangerous."

What should I teach her more?

"If you want to know what time it is, see the sun, try to climb up on the top of a tree, see the sun and wait for it." 

"If the sun raised up the sky early or a bit more, that means it's still morning, if it's in the middle of the sky, it's mean noon, if it goes down, means is about to dark." - I hoped this explanation would make her understand, I didn't good at explaining

Then I looked at the river, should I risk a bit of time to hunt for the fish?

I've looked around, no one here except us so it would be useless if we yelled out to call someone, we may meet the bad guys like bandits or call up the dangerous animals that were on their hunt time.

Living in the forest was very dangerous, I'm very admired our ancestors when they could live there without worrying. Our humans today had the internet, which was the collections of the knowledge from our ancestors from the different eras combined but we used them to watch Porn and shitty stuff.

Should I judge people so bad like that? I also usually surfed websites to find the things that I told up there.

But that was not the thing I should think about this time, maybe I should tell Shera to sit here and wait for me while I hunt some fish. At least we didn't need to worry about lack of water for now.

"Princess, maybe you're not hungry but I will hunt for you some fishes, just sit here and watch." 

"If we can't find people in this forest and have to depend on each other, we will have to live here until I consider my next plan."

"Nod! Nod!" - Shera nodded to me and then sat down on the ground near the river, now she had listened to me like a puppy

Maybe she was so scared because she had no one to depend on, maybe...wait? Shera could use water magic, right? Then should I be cautious too much when I am scared that we have nothing to drink?

"Princess, you can cast water magic, right?"

"Yes." - Shera was now looking around while talking to me, she seemed still sad but she tried so much to calm down

"Can the water that is cast from the magic be drinkable?"

"Nod! But if you can't have a proper meal with a bad living condition, your magic power will slowly drain out and there will be the time you can't cast magic anymore." - So I cannot use Shera as my water tank all the time

Then I looked around the river, maybe it would be more advantageous if I picked up something long and sharp to stab the fishes that were swimming along the river. 

Then I looked at the small trees nearby, I snatched a twig, the way I snatched the tree made the twig have a sharp head when it broke, made me easier to hunt the fishes. 

Shera was focusing to look at me though she was still worrying, maybe she wanted to learn from me something, I slowly stepped to the river, there was a fish swimming slowly along the river. 

I slowly raised the broken twig up and fastly stabbed down the water to hit the fish, that fish dodge my strike easily.

When I saw that was useless, I changed my moves to stab the fishes faster and faster, stabbed more fish and fishes but didn't succeed.

The fishes dodged my stab easily so that result made me mad.

"Dammit! Fuck it! You fucking fishes, can't you swim slower?" - Maybe the fish hunt had lasted for ten minutes but I cannot hunt any fish so I got mad and threw the twig away

"Ah!" - Shera seemed very shocked when she saw me mad like that, maybe that was the first time she saw my anger so she froze a bit

"Ah, sorry Princess! Don't be scared, we will find another way." - I tried to calm myself down and picked up the twig again, I saw that the fish hunt wouldn't lead me to anything so I quit

Then I walked toward Shera, maybe I would teach her to make a campfire or to set up a small camp to live in the forest. Maybe I would teach her the most basic thing to set up a campfire, though Shera could cast fire magic but she couldn't depend on it too much.

"Let's go, Princess! I will teach you the other things later, remember to stick close to me."

Shera stood up and held my hand all the time, she seemed to want to have someone beside her. I felt a bit annoyed, not because Shera was with me but the way she was sticking to me so close.

The last time I masturbated was three days ago when I ran to No Man Zone, I was so stressed so I did that to calm my nerve. Now I was with Shera, if I could not control myself, I would press the girl to the ground and rape her right away.

I looked at it for a bit longer and made a small bite of that nut, the taste was like peanuts...but edible, maybe I should have cooked this thing if I wanted to eat it properly...maybe. 

Its taste was not so good but a least it was edible, then I handed it over to Shera that nut. Hoped she wouldn't care about eating the other's saliva, it was a bit gross to me.

Shera after taking the nut, she was a bit sad so she bit the nut a bit, she looked at me, trying to open a smile as if to make me please. After looking at Shera, I looked up at the tree that was near us, it was quite tall, maybe I should call Sarah to assist me to lift me.

Why did I have to ask the help from Shera? Do that myself, dammit! I hated to disturb the others.

"Sir Rigen, it's very dangerous, please get down!" - Shera saw me, I was climbing in the tree so she scared

"Don't worry, Princess! I will be okay, wait for me a bit, I will go down soon."

I tried to look down to check on Shera but I didn't have a chance to do that, I would have fallen if I didn't pay attention so I tried to climb up the tree as fast as possible.

"Are you alright, Sir Rigen!" - Shera shouted loud to me when I completely got on top of the tree, her voice had a lot of worrying

"I'm fine, I will get down later!" - After giving Shera the message, I started looking around while on the top of the tree

I needed to know the direction first, which direction we were at, South, North, East or West? I looked for the sun and noticed that the sun was now on top of the sky.

Right on top, so this time was now noon, about 12:00 AM or so, but the way the sun placed that side made me cannot estimate which direction we were in. 

Maybe I would have the result if I waited for the sun for longer, about 30 minutes or so but if I did that, Shera would have worried about me more and more.

Dammit! I should have stayed focused on learning the survival ways in the forest in the lessons that Kaori and Amanda taught me when I was a kid. 

Maybe the methods of teaching of those two moms were different but they had the same way of beating me, using a ruler to beat my hand when I didn't learn the lesson completely.

But Kaori would have beaten my hand heavily with the ruler, about Amanda, she only beat me with the ruler once in each lesson if I didn't learn by heart. Though the way Amanda beat me only once but she would use all her strength to beat me in one strike with the ruler.

I was very hated Kaori, about Amanda, I only hated her because she was always protecting Kaori, she said Kaori had struggled a lot. She regretted a lot when she beat me, she wanted to make me good, to make me can protect myself when I grew up.

I cannot call 911 to call help from the police from that child abuse, if I tried to call the police, Kaori would have beaten me more and more.

Why did I dig back into my past? This was not the time to think about the past, I must think about the future of me and Shera.

Maybe Sarah was right to call me heartless, I didn't care about my subordinates. they were now missing somewhere but I didn't care about them but cared about the Princess that I just have met just a month.

I looked around the forest for more, I saw there was a bright opening at the end of the forest, maybe it was a way out, it's the way connected to the trail, maybe I should go down to check on Shera now.

"Ah, Sir Rigen!" - Shera saw me was climbing down the tree, she walked near me, raised both of her hands as if to catch me if I fall

You stupid! If I fall then I would have crushed your body apart, Shera! You may break some of your ribs if you were lucky, dammit! 

But I kept my calm and managed to get down, when I got down, Shera was still nervous but at least she calmed a bit, she had eaten the nut completely.

"Princess, let's follow the trail, if we follow the trail but it leads us to nowhere, we will temporality live around this river."

"Nod!" - Shera made a nod like a puppy and then grabbed my hand to tilt her head to it

Then we slowly walked through the trail, during going on it, we had taken a bit of fruit and nuts from the trees or bushes that we found. 

We tried to taste their tastes, maybe most of them were edible, I was always the one who tested the taste first, if I died during the test, Shera would be still alive.

But what the fuck made me came to that stupid thought? 

Even if I died, Shera wouldn't have the will to live anymore, she was now depressed after losing all of her relatives. If I died, even if she didn't try to kill herself then she wouldn't have a chance to survive in this forest.

"Sir Rigen, my legs are now fatigued, can you here for a few minutes?" - Dammit! I didn't expect this from Shera, but the way to that bright open area was not so far from here

"Let me lift you, Princess." - I took Shera on my back before she could answer

"Wahh!" - Shera had surprised a bit when I got her to my back

After lifting Shera on my back, I kept going to that bright open, the trail that led to it was not far now, just a little bit more.

"Sir Rigen, I'm sorry! I'm so useless!" - Don't say that, Shera! We are all useless at some points, don't be a shame, proud of what you are good at!

"Am I heavy, Sir Rigen? I hope you don't feel annoyed." - Shera was light to me, I could lift her to go easily

Then we walked to the bright open at the end of the forest, when we got out, both of us were very shocked.

In front of us was now a wide ground below, we were exactly on the hill when we got here, there was a trail that led down there from where we were standing.

Maybe we should get down to see some more.

"The scenery is so beautiful, this is the first time I have ever seen anything like it." - Shera seemed to be shocked, maybe the Royal people rarely go out of the forests like the soldiers

I was looking for what I could gather, next to us a bit far away were a few hills, there were things like the small mountains near them. 

On the ground down there was a quite plane in the middle and on the bit on the left, I could see a wide green field down there.

On the left, there were bunches of trees and bushes down there, from very far away, I saw a wide area covered in white. In the mid of the ground, I saw a thing that looked to be a big stone square shape or something.

Maybe I should go with Shera down the trail a bit more, when we were going down the trail, Shera looked to be calmed now, she was now sticking her face behind my back, trying to feel my warmth.

"Please, Sir Rigen! Don't leave me." - What's a cute voice, I never wanted to leave Shera, I didn't want to be alone

"I cannot promise you but I will do my best, Princess."

Then I saw the ground was having some water drops, rain? The sky was about to rain?

"Dammit! It's raining now, Princess!" - I put Shera down and took off my uniform to give her a thing to cover herself from above

I was now only had a T-Shirt back my body as my upper clothes, Shera looked at me so worried, maybe she scared that I would be wet by the rain.

"Run, Princess! Remember to hold my hand tight!" - I held Shera's and ran fast to the trail down there

Then we went down the trail, we had followed the trail by running together until I noticed that we were in the middle of the ground.

I saw the stone square object that I saw earlier when we were on the hill, that thing looked to be a stone house, people were living in there?

I led Shera as fast as possible to that place, the rain was now dropping denser, my body had wet quite much, Shera also got wet but not as bad as me. 

I noticed that the stone house was made in a square shape, it had a thing exposed on the left of the house that looked to be a window without glass on it.

On the left and the right corner of the house were two big blue crystals, I wondered why they were decorated like that. 

On the left side of the house was a wooden door, I must get Shera and myself inside now before we got wet completely.

"Knock! Knock! Hello, anybody home?" - I knocked on the door but I saw no one response

"Knock! Knock! Knock! Please let us get inside, we will stay here until the rains go away, we promise." - No one answered or maybe they cannot hear but because the rain out there was quite loud

Dammit! Shera would have been sick if she stayed outside for a long time.

"We will go inside now, don't attack us, we come here in peace." - I slowly opened the door, looked like the door hadn't been locked

When we got inside, in front of me a few steps was a wide round table that looked to be a dinner table with round chairs placed around it. Around the table had a thing that looked to be a small kitchen, a bookshelf with books on it, a furnace near the kitchen, all were made of stone.

I also saw the other doors when I looked into the house deeper, this house was averagely built to me. 

But there was a thing that made me surprised the most a crystal that glowed blue light that stick above the roof at the dinner table. It looked to be a crystal light from what I saw from Zaira village.

I noticed that there was a long yellow curtain next to the bookshelf to the left that seemed to be covering the thing behind it.

Why did I feel a bit nervous when I stepped close to the curtain?

"What's wrong, Sir Rigen?" - Shera seemed didn't notice the strange things around her

Then I looked closer to the dinner table, I noticed that there was a cup of water on it, looked to be half drank, someone was hiding from us, that person was now here.

In my thought, that person must be behind the curtain.

"Shera, stay away from me a bit, if you see something that unusual, run out of the house immediately."

"What do you mean, Si-" - I grabbed the cup of water and threw it to the curtain while holding the twig with my other hand to guard in case we got attacked

"Sir Rigen, watch out!" - Shera warned me, I have already known the danger behind the curtain

At the time I threw the cup to the curtain, a figure of a woman holding the sword in the stab stance come out from the curtain and charged toward me but I managed to dodge the stab.

Shera was now standing near that woman with a terrified face, but that woman didn't notice Shera but she pointed her eyes at me, who is this woman?
