Grimm blocked the space of the underground lake and flew at high speed, into the deep underground with his translucent Water-Crystal Turtle that had transformed into a small crystal ball.
Lying on one of Grimm’s earrings, the translucent turtle lowered its voice and said, “There should be three Lavawyverns around here, all at the center of the underground Lava Lake. However, I have heard that the Amonros had a hard time controlling those heavy creatures using the Camphoragate.”
“How long would it take to reach the center of the lava lake with this speed?” Grimm asked.
The turtle replied slowly after a few moments, “Master, based on the hourglass calculation unit that you gave me earlier, it would take around three to four hourglasses due to the high temperature of the Lava Lake, I have not been there before and nor have I seen the surroundings there.”
A narrow passage flashed by and Grimm replied in a calm voice, “Hmm”.
They arrived at an underground square with about three to four hundred meters in length and width. Grimm formed his conclusion once he saw dead bodies of Amonros and pot-holes around the flesh wall while floating in the air, an intense fight must have taken place here and sorcerers must have ended it with an overwhelming victory.
The bodies and remains that lay around smelled awful, Grimm had to use sorcery on his mask to block out the smell.
From the traces left behind, there were about six to seven sorcerers involved.
Grimm gathered his thoughts and quickly scouted the Amonro Square, out of twenty tunnel entrances that he had discovered, twelve of them had signs marked on them.
Similarly, Grimm marked a sorcerer sign on the entrance that he came out from and marked another sign on the entrance that was not marked, and then he sprinted into the tunnel.
The tunnel was about fifty meters wide, the reddish flesh wall around kept wiggling and moving while the soft sounds of fluid being compressed inside the wall could also be heard.
After flying for a short while, Grimm became more cautious of the smooth journey he was having so far, the restrictive environment of the foreign place had contributed to his restless feelings.
Pa!
Suddenly, Grimm darted and avoided a red-colored tentacle that extended from the flesh wall above; it missed Grimm and retracted quickly.
Grimm raised his hand instinctively and casted the Water Lightning Torrent Sorcery, then three Fire Bats flashed towards the tentacle.
Bang! Bang! Bang! The sounds of explosions were heard while waves of flame spread across the wall.
Hiss…
There were droplets of green liquid dripping from the wall above, it had an awful fishy smell and started releasing thick smoke. Grimm immediately scanned through the walls with his Ultrasound Positioning Sorcery in hopes that he would be able to trace the one who had attacked him.
However, the effort was in vain and Grimm was left disappointed.
The Ultrasound Positioning Sorcery was not effective in detecting lifeforms that hid behind the flesh walls due to its limitations based on the fundamentals of sorcery. It was achieved by sending out ultrasonic waves towards the object which in turn bounced back and information from the waves were then collected, this would then be reprocessed into images formed by sound waves.
There were a few limitations that come along with this sorcery; it would not perform well when the object was too far away, hidden underground, underwater, hidden behind the flesh wall, or if there was a blind spot.
Without any findings, Grimm looked around the flesh wall and felt disappointed, the wiggling and movement of the wall disgusted him even more, then he shook his head dejectedly and left.
It was unnecessary to dwell on such a creature as the army of Bright Sorcerers and the Soul Slaves would clear every creature that went against them once they had control of this area. It would be the first actual controlling area for the Demon-Hunters as part of their expedition toward the origin.
According to Grimm’s Water-Crystal Turtle, the Shadow Cloud, that was formed when the sorcerers came for their conquest, was merely part of a middle sized Shadow Cloud from the Shadow World. The crystal ball from the Void Fortress had also provided information that it was only one of the twelve shadows from the Shadow World. It would mean nothing to the army of Demon-Hunters as their forces had already settled down.
From the brief information obtained from the crystal ball, the surface area of the twelve shadows combined would still be much smaller than a large shadow and would only be described as a big island in the endless ocean if compared to those from the Sorcerer World.
Swoosh…
Another half an hourglass had passed. Suddenly, Grimm increased his speed when he heard the sound of explosions from afar along with waves of sorcery. A while later, Grimm arrived at another square and saw four Dark Sorcerers flying in the air while they battled the surrounding flesh wall and Amonros that sprinted around at light’s speed.
Wooh!
Grimm’s body was covered by blazing flames, releasing rays of light with high heat to the surroundings, however, the Amonros seemed to be unaffected by the Fire Elemental Energy.

A few Amonros that were fearless moved away from their pack and surrounded Grimm.
Grimm had already set his eyes on them.
At that point in time, the low-ranked Amonros seemed to have obtained a little boost from the Camphoragate. However, they could hardly threaten the Dark Sorcerers as there were only a few of them and were still being considered as lifeforms from the lower ranks. Hence, they were only seen as a hassle to the Bright Sorcerers and the Soul Slaves that came after for cleanup.
There were three Golden Amonros who were riding on their accompanying war beasts present at the square.
Bang!
Flames blazed around Grimm as he attacked the Amonros that tried to harm him, subsequently, the Amonros were caught on fire. However, they did not die immediately due to their resistance toward fire, and they immediately escaped into the flesh wall.
However, grieving howls from the Amonros that had escaped were heard from behind the walls, it lasted for a while and then faded. Those Amonros were no match for Grimm’s Fire Elemental Energy, unless they had developed a high level of resistance towards fire, just like the Vaiduryarion Amonro that initiated a sneak attack towards Grimm. Obviously, those Amonros that Grimm had just met did not have such a high level of resistance.
After a few quick moves, Grimm had settled those low-ranked Amonros around him and told the Dark Sorcerers that did not seem to have the urge to kill, “I have just received information on a Lava Lake below this Camphoragate Tree, the Amonros have been using it to produce the Demonic Blood Moss for the use of its Circuit Bomb Launcher. If any of us is capable of producing a cure for it, we might stand a chance to be awarded with a Level 3 Honor Badge.”
Grimm gave encouragement to the four Dark Sorcerers that were present.
“We are aware of this, newcomer, be careful of the Enigmatic Energy around here!” A Dark Sorcerer that was covered in a dark-colored robe replied.
Enigmatic Energy?
All of a sudden, Grimm felt that his body was being controlled. Immediately, from his Ultrasonic Positioning Sorcery, he noticed that a blurry Enigmatic Amonro pale-white in color rose up from his own shadow.
‘How did it managed to hide within the shadow of other lifeforms?’
‘How could it possibly take control of a sorcerer’s body via a sorcerer’s mask?’
Suddenly, a source of gray-colored energy arose from beneath Grimm, and formed a sphere-shaped Sorcerer Barrier around him. Grimm was drowned in the enormous amount of Enigmatic Energy released by the Enigmatic Amonro. It attempted to cast an Enigmatic Seal on Grimm.
Grimm was surprised that such a low-ranked Enigmatic Amonro from the outside world could be so much stronger being at the underground space below the Camphoragate Tree. Even the Dark Sorcerers felt the threat from these Amonros.
“Damn it! Such a dumb thing!”
“Hmph! We must make him compensate us equally.”
Both of the Dark Sorcerers saw that Grimm had been completely controlled by the Enigmatic Energy, they also realized that the Enigmatic Amonro was about to cast an Enigmatic Seal. Once a sorcerer was surrounded by the Enigmatic Energy, chances of a low level sorcerer escaping the layers of pressure from the seal would be minimal.
However, both the Dark Sorcerers would still have their chance to save Grimm if they created interference towards the seal while it was still incomplete.
Oik! Oik!
Suddenly, two Golden Amonros rushed in to prevent the Dark Sorcerers from rescuing Grimm. One of them was riding on a giant black wolf with six feet, and the other one was riding on a giant spider that was about four meters tall and wide. The two Dark Sorcerers were agitated and cursed the Golden Amonros, because of them they had lost the chance to save Grimm.
However, being Dark Sorcerers, they did not have the responsibility to risk inflicting harm on themselves to save Grimm, it was not necessary for them to do so.
Both of the Dark Sorcerers shook their heads and decided not to care about Grimm that was still trapped, they focused on facing the Golden Amonro that was injured. Boom! The giant black wolf fell and landed on the flesh wall, it struggled and let out a grieving howl before it lied down.
The stomach of the giant wolf was injured with a huge open wound, and all of its internal organs were falling out from its body.
One of the Dark Sorcerers sneered and put a golden claw back in his sleeves, it looked like a hawk’s claw. The palm of the Dark Sorcerer then transformed back to its human form and pointed towards the Golden Amonro that had lost its ability to fight, and then a dark ray of light flashed through it.

On the other hand, Grimm was still trapped.
Grimm did not have any fear being trapped within the Enigmatic Energy and he observed the surroundings calmly. The feeling of being pressured by the layers of forces around had led him to have an epiphany whereby Grimm remembered that he had the same experience when he and Master Peranos visited Master Orton.
He was confident that he would be able to break through the seal of this level with his ability of Space-time Coordinated Access with the Myna. He could easily destroy the seal by creating interference from the outside.
However, Grimm decided to analyze the entire process of the seal by allowing the seal to be formed completely, then conduct a study on the characteristics to learn from it. Who knows some of the findings might be beneficial for him in the future.
