A cluster of coral-like plants glowed in faint red color.
The faint, shimmering lights were like the collective breaths of the coral colonies that lit up the wide cavern. The path was no longer as dark as before, which nullified the darkness that had allowed the Darkness Pool to blend perfectly into the surroundings.
Now, under the wavering light of the corals, the Darkness Pool was like a lone canoe in the sea of light, looking very much out of place.
This was not the world of the Darkness Pool. As the founding law of this world, light was the basic principle of the world while darkness was just the shadows beneath it.
There was a presence of two ancient creatures lurking among the sea of corals. The taint of their Evil Bloods was blatantly obvious!
Grimm did not take any detours, but he dared not venture into the lit area due to the presence of the two ancient creatures. What made him stop was a brilliant, luminous coral bush burning brightly at the edge of his senses.
There was no heat to the burning red flame, but it appeared that the Dreadlord had left behind some kind of essence that caused this coral bush to undergo a certain kind of mutation. Could this be the bloodfire?
The term bloodfire originated from the Legendary Knights. The high-level Legendary Knights of the Umbra Sorcerer Academy could achieve their desired mutation by injecting blood energy into their veins through sorcery.
Grimm was unsure if the flaming coral bush had something to do with bloodfire.
But undoubtedly, it must have high research and practical values. That was definitely not an ornamental plant. Maybe the price of the flaming coral bush alone would far surpass the Evil Blood in the two ancient creatures.
In any way, Grimm was not willing to let go of the prized plant specimen.
But he would have to face two Level-3 ancient creatures. He could no longer use the sneak attacks and he did not have much time to wait for an opening.
Well then…
Grimm put on his thinking cap and started to recollect the anatomy refinery skills that he had learned but had little chance to use. A flash of thought came into his mind!
The most foundational of sorcery in theory that even a Sorcerer-Apprentice with less than 10 mental strength points could master—conjuration. The conjuration here referred to the techniques that a circus magician would employ to entertain the nobles in the ordinary human world.
Magicians would use certain techniques to make things disappear in front of the audience’s eyes or conjure something out of thin air. That was magic.
Magic was no sorcery and magicians were just ordinary people. They were not Sorcerers who would exhaust mana or leverage on the principle of mental strength.
But a magician could perform his magic due to his clever design of props that might contain multiple hidden mechanisms and skillful techniques that could divert the attention of his audience.
The most imperative of all would be moving the audience’s attention away from something, otherwise known as a diversion.
It was the most primitive disguise of humans!
The techniques used to create a diversion could come from an attention-grabbing female aide, or a skilled technique that exploited the audience’s psychological patterns to complete the disguise.
Of course, intelligence was not the only thing needed to accomplish this feat. A heightened foresight was also critical to achieve this.
It was said that a magician in his youth once asked for a signature from a butler and placed it in a bottle. He dug a hole in a tree and buried the bottle within. Ten years later, the magician returned to the garden again to perform magic. He asked for the old butler’s signature again and dug out the old signature from the tree hole, long-forgotten by the old butler. That was magic.

But we digress.
If a diversion were to be skillfully employed by an Anatomy Refinery Sorcerer, it would become one of the ‘stealth’ battle skills of the Sorcerer. Almost every high-level Anatomy Refinery Sorcerer had them in their arsenal of skills.
“If I can draw the attention of these two beasts, be it luring them out of the light territory and ambushing them later to steal the flaming coral bush, or to divert their attention away from the bush while I attempt to steal it, it would be mission accomplished.”
With this thought, Grimm held up his Sabbatic Goat Staff. He ignited the mana in his body and let out a low growl.
“Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant!”
Roar!
The Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant stood at a height of fifteen meters. Its body was burning profusely in gold and black flames, lighting up the cavern brightly. There was a crying and laughing face on the back of its chest that was groaning in two very different voices. A pair of eyes protruded like the antennae of a snail. It was covered in streaks of lightning.
With the swing of its large flaming hand, the giant slashed across the Darkness Pool with its huge infernal sword. The motion produced a trail of fan-shape flames on the burning sword.
The slash of the flaming sword effortlessly destroyed a huge patch of the corals. A school of fireprint coral bugs flapped their wings and scattered away from the corals.

“Let’s see how it works out.”
Grimm had intentionally made the giant burn brighter to light up the cavern with its brilliant light. It was obvious from afar; its brightness was unmatched.
Thus, anyone would naturally ignore the dark spots that were “overshadowed” by the strong light from the giant that was hidden behind its stone feet.
It almost seemed like how a shadow should look like with the relative brilliance of the powerful light. But it was a little too static, not in sync with the wavering flames that were changing directions at every moment.

Within the inner depths of the flaming corals.
“Hail, Bloodcoral. The plan to revive the Sevenfold Rainbow had utterly failed. Even the river of blood that it had turned into was completely sealed off by the foreign sorcerers. We are out of options. What do you plan to do?”
The words came from the mouth of a toxic-horned head that was covered in a slimy yellow goo, which gave out a terrible stench. The head was growing on top of a soft, flexible tentacle.
There were two other strong-looking tentacles waving around it. Its abdomen was slightly plump and covered in a layer of black liquid. It had a pair of webbed feet like a duck.
This creature was the same powerful ancient creature on the Dagutha Magnetite Star that had outmatched Grimm about thirty years ago when the Void Fortress of the Sorcerers World landed upon the Magnetite World.
What was even more infuriating was that while the four Stigmata Sorcerers were pursuing the Evil Blood Dreadlord, this creature appeared and impaled Grimm with a single tentacle. Grimm escaped death with the Immortal Body of the Nightmare Sorcerer, and fled using the spacetime teleportation which was connected to the myna.
Out of spite, Grimm cursed and marked the creature’s breath.
Now, the same creature had appeared here. Hehe, what a great coincidence!
There was a half-meter tall flaming coral bush opposite the ancient beast. Although the bush was merely half a meter tall, its flames were burning brilliantly at tens of meters of height.
Lying next to the flaming coral bush was a four-legged scaled beast that appeared to be extremely tough. The muscles on the creature were well-built, but its size was at a mere three meters tall. It was lazing around like a house cat. There was a silver horn on top of its head glowing in the shade of the flaming coral bush.
That was the Bloodcoral beast that the tentacled-monster had been talking to.
“What to do now?”
The Bloodcoral beast let out a lazy yawn.
“Hehe, thirteen thousand years ago when I first acquired the Evil Blood, I have known that even if the Sevenfold Rainbow were to be revived successfully, we would still have no chance to become World Lords unless the Sevenfold Rainbow clan has completely dominated this world. That is why I have spent so much energy in cultivating this coral, so that my body would not be corrupted alongside the Evil Blood.”
The Bloodcoral beast paused for a moment before continuing its words. “This flaming coral bush has started to meld with me now. With the help of the friendly flame energy of this coral bush, I have fifty percent confidence that I can squeeze into the Dimensional Gap of any mystical fire world! Swampbeast, in just two years’ time your body has degraded into such a state. Your powers are not even half of what it used to be! Won’t you join me in our final fight?”
“Hmph, so you had a plan all along. That’s why I didn’t see you the past few years. You weren’t even interested in reviving the law of Rainbows.”
Swampbeast was aggravated.
The creature had fought with the Magnetites and powerful Sorcerers, risking its life to fulfill the revival of the ancient Rainbow World. It thought that it had the slim chance of being recognized by the Principal Will of this world and become a World Lord.
After all, after decimating the Magnetites, the Sevenfold Rainbow clan would have been able to use up all of the Evil Blood Dreadlord’s energy after a period of recovery.
During this period of recovery, it would not be far-fetched to expect a World Lord or two in this world.
But now that the plan has failed, Swampbeast became disappointed. But it had never expected the Bloodcoral beast to show no interest in becoming a World Lord. It was merely using the Evil Blood of the Sevenfold Rainbow!
“There’s no more hope left in this world… we are living in the most painful age of this world… we’re so helpless…”
Roar!
While the Bloodcoral beast was talking, suddenly, a strange roar came from the sea of coral bushes from afar. A type of restrained energy rippled forward, it was a kind of energy surge that the dark caverns of the Magnetite World had never seen.
“It’s the Sorcerers, the Sorcerers are coming!”
They had witnessed for themselves how the four exceptionally powerful Sorcerers of the foreign land and the Grand Peak Starlight had relentlessly pursued the Sevenfold Rainbow for almost three years. They had chased after them across the entire world. Numerous young Bloodprint Creatures and ancient beasts had died in the chase. Even the evil-blooded Sevenfold Rainbow had nowhere else to go.
These Sorcerers that had descended from a foreign land were far more terrifying than the Magnetites!
“Wait, why does it seem so weak. There’s also some difference in its aura compared to the Sorcerers’… I’ll go take a look!”
The Swampbeast twisted its body and leaped at the direction of the Dark Devourer Infernal Spirit Giant.
The Bloodcoral beast did not budge at all. It stayed on guard beside the flaming coral bush. Though it looked like it was lazing around, its eyes remained watchful.
