The energy shockwave streaked out like a bolt of lightning.
The Colossal Tree Giant, a creature more than fifty meters tall, was instantly shattered to splinters by Grimm’s Magnetite Star Core of 15,000 degrees of attack power, leaving only a marginal amount of debris that became ashes as the wind scattered them in all directions.
Fortunately for the twelve Sorcerers that were surrounding the Colossal Tree Giant, they had not been directly affected by the Magnetite Star Core’s attack as it had impacted the creature that could be summoned again.
A death that passed them by mere inches away!
With a blow of this magnitude, it was not just the Level-1 Sorcerers and the Level-2 Sorcerers, even the Stigmata Sorcerers would have to take it seriously.
“Nicely done, caw caw caw caw, kill them all! After we take care of these Shadow Argus Academy Sorcerers, we will go and assist the Sorcerer Tower!”
Dozens of Hydra Wrath Sorcerers dashed forward and chased after the fleeing Shadow Argus Sorcerers, one by one, the dozen of them were dispatched in the blink of an eye.
Bzzt!
With a flash of lightning, Grimm teleported on top of Kimraig. The Rank-3 Honor Badge Demon-Hunter’s surprised expression was clearly imprinted in Grimm’s eyes.
Elemental energy converged at the Sabbatic Goat Staff’s horn tips, ready to release its power at any moment. His dark-scaled body was full of crackling unpredictability and agility, disguising a frightening life force, rippling a mixture of wildness and violence.
Grimm did not have enough stamina to open up level two of his Wild Instinct.
“It’s no use! You’re out of magic power!”
Kimraig might have spoken out for the sake of his own pride. He then sprouted a pair of flaming wings that dispersed the Star Stones floating around him.
Kimraig’s flame power bore a repelling and impacting force akin to that of a volcanic eruption, probably a rare elemental rune that was changed after deep research, causing the flame energy’s burning ability to become secondary.
In the eyes of onlookers, it would be a tremendous blow, but in the eyes of those two, it was but amateurish.
Kimraig disappeared into the sky, leaving a streak of flame trailing behind the elemental teleportation that carried him a hundred meters away, narrowly avoiding an attack from the Sabbatic Goat Staff.
One hundred meters of the ground below was obliterated by the staff’s attack, swept up by the elemental attack which caused the winds to shriek, shaking the leaves out of tree branches.
Whoosh…
On one side, Kimraig let out a sigh of relief. That blow was close to 2,000 degrees of attack. The scary fellow turned out to be an Elemental Sorcerer! If his reflexes had not been quick enough…
“Guh!”
A secretly relieved Kimraig suddenly coughed and a big mouthful of blood spurted out, he turned around to see Grimm who had continued to pursue him with a glint of confidence in his eyes.
That Sabbatic Goat Staff had only grazed his body when he was teleporting, yet it managed to deal a severe amount of damage on him.
What a monster!
Kimraig’s mind was racing. There was no chance for him in a head on confrontation, forget about Level-2 Sorcerers, not even Level-3 Sorcerers would stand a lick of a chance as his opponent.
Moreover, he was not sure how many times that horrifying energy beam attack could be unleashed. Was it an expendable attack? It had already reached the level of power only some Stigmata Sorcerers wielded, and it was by no means a power an ordinary Sorcerer could master.
After blinking closer to him, Grimm struck a palm out toward Kimraig and murmured, “Gravity!”

A gravitational force manifested between Grimm and Kimraig, as Grimm’s feet bounced off the ground, the Star Stone reduced his body weight and quickly closed the distance between the two.
“Damn, it’s not enough even though I’ve used the Destructive Force once?”
With a sigh, Grimm managed to gather all that remained of his magical power. Two elements, one ice, one fire appeared on the tip of the Sabbatic Goat Staff’s horns, entangling with one another and merging to form a dark-red ball of light.
“Fire Blast!”
The dark-red ball of light flashed, then it streaked toward Kimraig.
Grimm knew that the Fire Blast Spell he sent out this time was only about 1,500 degrees, it was only within the attack power of a Level-2 Sorcerer.
‘And I wanted to take out the opponent in one hit, damn.’
Sure enough, Kimraig held up a ruby gem tipped staff, and a bright red light channeled a large amount of flame energy. With a flap of his fiery wings, a burly and fierce looking fire elemental Abyss Flying Dragon appeared.
“Dragon’s Flame!”
The dragon roared and spread its eight-foot long wingspan before rushing toward the dark-red Fire Blast Spell, colliding with it in a resounding crash and sending ripples of fire sweeping about ten meters wide as the spells canceled each other out.
Judging from the degree of the attack, the opponent’s Dragon’s Flame was a spell of higher caliber than the Fire Blast Spell, but it also consumed more magical energy and had depleted the magical energy stored within that ruby tipped staff.
The explosion caused by the two spells colliding caused Grimm to stop in his tracks, while Kimraig gained a distance between them by making a desperate dash without looking back.
“Huh, huh, huh…” Breathless, Grimm willed his level one Wild Instinct to transform, and with a flash on his shoulder, Little Myna appeared.
“Young Master, what’s the matter? Don’t you know it’s currently a crucial time of pursuit, what if something goes wrong without my command?”
Little Myna said with much displeasure in his voice, he was apparently occupied with leading nine Hydra Wrath Sorcerers in the pursuit of the Shadow Argus Sorcerers.
Grimm did not care. “Ignore that, right now I need you to chase after that Demon-Hunter and mark him.”
Following Grimm’s instructions, Little Myna detected the presence of Kimraig through the flames that had begun to die out. It reminded him of the scene where he had been ignored, what an abominable person!
“Damn it all! It’s that guy! Alright, you wait right here, Young Master.”
With a few flaps of his wings, Little Myna turned into an afterimage and disappeared with astonishing flight speed.
After half an hour, the Hydra Wrath Academy Sorcerers managed to regroup, and three Sorcerers of the Shadow Argus Academy had been bound with magic nullifying handcuffs as they were now held captive by the Hydra Wrath.
“Grimm, we overpowered the invading Sorcerers over there, took control of the situation, and I rushed here as fast as I could,” Ezma said while inspecting the handcuffs of the three captives.
These three were all Level-1 Sorcerers. Without elemental teleportation, catching them was a trivial task. Not much could be said for the Level-2 Sorcerers that could teleport, there was no luck in that department.
“Thank you.” Grimm nodded as he tried to replenish his magic.
Suddenly, a flash appeared on Grimm’s shoulder. Little Myna appeared and smiled cheerfully, “Caw caw caw! Young Master! It’s done!”
Little Myna then turned his head toward the three captured Sorcerers and excitedly flapped his wings. “Well well well, didn’t you ignore me just now? Looked down on me? Said I have no combat power? Caw caw caw, yet you’ve fallen right into my grasp! Now, I’m going to give you all a good thrashing!”
Little Myna fluttered around and batted his wings against the captured Sorcerers, to very little effect. Instead, all he ended up doing was tire himself out.
This drew a chuckle and some of the Level-2 Sorcerers shook their heads. Ezma pulled out a crystal ball and murmured, “Grimm, now we must go back to the Mana Pool of the Sorcerer Tower. Young Master Deidarion has already started priming our ultimate defense.”
Were they already at that point?
“Okay.” Grimm nodded, and along with the seventy other Sorcerers and their captives, they flew toward the Sorcerer Tower.
