The magic sword shuddered. For the sword that had become one with its master, the change was too obvious.
The master was about to become a demon. He was about to become the center of chaos.
This is different from becoming a demon with demonic aptitude, like Drigman the controller, Agathos the jewel, or Caria the giant.
The human species is now attempting to deviate from the original human.
The demon sword knows that many of its consequences are catastrophic.
Some have turned into beasts, others into demons with a curse-like hatred - even the human hero Althea. Their endings have never been happy.
Now Lord Lugis is trying to unlock the original. It's a step closer to ruin. Then shouldn't I stop him, the Demon Sword hesitated.
--Instantly, he snapped his blade in mockery. What, now?
If he really thought that he should stop him, he should have put up the greatest resistance from the moment that gear touched the Lord's body. If I had done that, I might have been able to reject the demonization of my body.
But then, the demon sword thought to himself. If the Lord became a demon, he would be more like him.
Everything about the sword, from the handle to the blade, is demon crystal. A true magical tool carved from the body of the great demon Altius.
That means it's nothing more than a foreign object to the human master. Then the day may come when you let go of it, no matter how you mix its existence. The day may come when it will be handed over to others, as it was in that prison.
I don't want that. I don't want that.
But that's different if the Lord is also a demon. We'll be the same until the end.
That's why the Demon Sword couldn't stop Lugis from becoming a demon.
Even now, it won't stop. He knew that this was an ugly and evil feeling. But it's an emotion because it can't be stopped by one's own will.
There is no forgiveness. If I can be with you until your last moment, that is all that matters. And if we are to truly defeat Vriliganth, there are limits to what we can do. Then we must go beyond humans.
Lugis let the words slip out. The scripture unlocks its heavy key.
"The Source Unlocked.
And with that, the lock was dropped. The magic sword wriggled its blade like a roar. And the true nature of the sourcebook was revealed. It's just like the Lord.
He knows himself to be evil. He says he's no hero. But the Lord kept reaching out there.
This original is the Lord's longing for justice and heroism itself. It's like saying that's all you are.
Then the Lord's end is already decided. It will not be here.
The magic sword is transforming. The purple became sharper and the black rippled as if to invade everything. It is no longer a sword, but the night itself, overflowing from Lugis' hand.
Vriligant roars. The world shuddered and the mountain peaks flew apart. A claw that could shatter the rock swings down on Rougis. The hollow tore itself open.
It was a simple gesture, like crushing a winged insect. And yet each one is a kill. Lugis, still unarmed, was but a target.
But the sword had seen the silver hair swaying in his vision. So he knew it wouldn't be a problem.
There was no way that a person with the blood of a giant would be easily defeated by a dragon.
"Rougis! You...!
The dragon's claws are huge, and Kuro Scarlet slashes them away. I'm not sure what to make of it. But the titan's physical strength is destructive enough on its own.
Vriligant's hand shook for a moment. The sword knew that Lugis had a smile on his face.
"You're good, Caria. And the time is right, it is night. Sunlight will fall to the earth.
Lugis swung his magic sword while wearing the night. The space itself felt as if it belonged to him now.
In the event you're not sure what you're looking for, there are a few things you can do.
There were those who longed for heroes, killed heroes, and yet still reached for heroes.
The jewel Agathos.
The jewel Agathos continues to walk, following a nostalgic scent. Whenever the smell hit his nose, the past flashed through his mind over and over again, and he hated it.
At any rate, not all that comes to mind is his fellow Drigman.
A barbarian princess of mixed blood. The day he was called that was going through Agathos' mind.
Agathos is not a pure demon. He is a half-breed of the demon tribe Rogom born from a rock and the fairy tribe.
For a demonic race that separates into different species, forms tribes, and receives kings, miscegenation was too unorthodox an existence. Especially in the time Agathos lived, there was still little interaction between tribes.
His parents threw Agathos off a cliff and abandoned him. Even after he survived, he could not belong to any tribe, and Agathos was forced to wander the world alone.
There were many times when he almost died, and despair seemed to be natural. He was not a rogue, he was not a fairy. So what am I, I asked myself over and over again.
Agathos laughed at the hesitation that had once troubled him. I am the supreme jewel, the only splendor. There is no other way to be.
He opened his eyes. The dragon's body, which he could see nothing of, began to take shape little by little. Sometimes it looked like a rocky mountain, sometimes like a dragon's nest, sometimes like a dragon's nest, and sometimes like a dragon's nest.
So that's what a dragon is like. No, Vriligant is abnormal. Just as Agathos was beginning to feel this way.
A stronger, more nostalgic smell hit his nostrils. A treasure trove of gold and crowns and all manner of riches.
And there she was.
Fialat-la-Volgograd. The sorceress and seeker of Agathos and Leu.
She drew waves with her beautiful black hair and slept with gold and silver treasures as her bed. It was as if she was laying something precious to her. Perhaps the fact that the treasury is visible is symbolic of this.
Agathos gulped down an overflowing breath as he approached Fialat and touched his fingers to her cheek. It had been a long time since he had seen her, and she seemed to have lost some weight.
At the same time, Agathos noticed that Fialaert's magical meridian was now close to that of a demon. He closed his eyelids tightly.
Originally, Fialaat was a good match for magic, too good, if you will. So it is possible that the magic meridian could be partially transformed. But I've never heard of such a rapid transformation.
It was obvious what had happened to her and what she had paid for it.
Huh, Agathos sighed.
Idiot. No one, not even him. There are so many simpler ways to live. They just turn left and right and get lost on their own. I can't watch.
Wobbling on his feet, Agathos unintentionally fell into Fialat's body. Agathos was nearing his limit. It's a miracle that he's still alive in this space where just walking takes away his magic and strength.
However, what he had to do was not over yet. With a trembling hand, Agathos took out the cloth bag that Fialat had tucked into his chest.
...... I hate that I'm relying on him, but... I'm going to ask you to lend it to me for a moment, Fialaat. Don't worry, I'll get you home safe.
He grabbed the cloth bag and turned it into a jewel and took it into his body.
The contents are probably fairy magic crystals. It was not something that could be used for anything, but it contained enough mystical power to suppress magic. It could be a talisman against sorcerers.
Agathos is half fairy. If you take in the magic, your throat will feel slightly moistened.
"I'm sorry it's not your turn, but I'm going to wake you up, Fialaat. I'm sorry it's not your turn, but I'm going to wake you up. --Come on, break Vriligant.
Feart is Vriligant's heart now. I know you can't wake him up just by talking to him. Then you'll have to force him awake.
Agathos intertwined his hands around Fialat and said.
"You'll get them back, Vriligant. I'll give you back Vriligant, and Fialaat, and the boy, and the original unlocking, 'Let my hand shine forever.
The jewels that danced around Agathos stopped moving. In the darkness, light fills the air.
