“Kouhai~~ Listen~~”
“What is it, Hina-senpai, you reek of alcohol.”
The person hugging me, smelling strongly of alcohol, was Hina-senpai, a senior at my part-time job, and the reason why she was at my house right now was because of something that had happened about an hour ago.
I was on my way home with Kaede from school and we were having a normal conversation.
“Kaede, do you have any plans for today or tomorrow?”
“No, Hayasaka-kun, do you have any?”
“No, me neither.”
“So that means it’s just the two of us, Christmas Eve and Christmas…’
For some reason, she had a squishy, smiling look in her eyes as she buried herself in her scarf.
Her mouth was hidden, so I didn’t know if she was smiling, but I think she was happy.
I’ve been working part-time a lot lately, so I was very happy to have these two days off.
Kaede said that she would cook even more delicious food, and when Kaede’s food, which was always delicious, was even more seriously prepared, I drooled a little, wondering how good it would be.
“I have high hopes”
“Yes! Please look forward to it.”
In the middle of such a conversation, in a park near my apartment, a woman was shouting loudly, “Gyahahahahaha!”.
And strangely enough, the woman was the only one there.
She was holding what looked like a bottle of alcohol in one hand, so I thought, what the heck, she’s just a drunkard, and ignored her to go home, but Kaede stopped dead in her tracks.
“What are you doing? Kaede, let’s go home?”
“Yeah, but that woman…”
“What’s wrong with that drunkard?”
“That is Hina-senpai, right?”
Hearing those words, I thought it was impossible and looked again at the drunkard in the park.
It was indeed Hina-senpai. I had seen her many times at my part-time job, so I knew I couldn’t make a mistake.
“What do you think?” After the two of us looked at each other, we both chuckled.
“Well, let’s try to talk to her for now.”
“Right.”
I went into the park and talked to the senior who was sitting on a swing and having a drink.
“What are you doing, Hina-senpai?:
“Eyhh~? Hicc, ah!, Kouhai~~!”
She suddenly hugged me. I guess she had already drunk quite a bit of alcohol.
The smell of alcohol was in the air.
“Urgh, Senpai, you’ve drunk way too much”
“Not yet!”
“… senpai…”

I thought this was no good, and after a short discussion with Kaede, we decided that it would be a bad idea to leave her out in the wild, so we decided to take her temporarily to my house.

“Kouhai~~ Listen~~”
“What is it, Hina-senpai, you reek of alcohol.”
That’s why I was in this situation. I wanted to ask Kaede for help, but unfortunately she was preparing dinner, so I had to deal with this drunkard by myself.
Just as it was getting a little too physically demanding, Kaede arrived with a bottle of water.
“Hina-senpai, I brought you some water?”
“Eh~ I don’t need it! Sake is fine!”
Kaede’s expression turned a little troubled when she heard this, but then she scolded senpai, “Hey!”
“You can’t have it, okay? You have to drink water.”
“But sake tastes better than water~”
“Senpai, is it okay for you to show your juniors how uncool you are?”
“Uncool… I hate it! I … hate it!!”
With that, she persuaded senpai to drink water, as if she had skillfully convinced a spoiled child to do so.
“So you can drink water? I’d like to see you drink water in a cool way.”
“Look! Mama!”
(Yes, senpai is drunk and Kaede is acting very much like a mother, but she admitted that Kaede is her mum…)
“Good girl? Is Hina a good girl?”
“Yes, yes! I am a good girl!”
Seeing Kaede stroking senpai’s head, I thought about the future.
I imagined that if Kaede had a child, it would be like this. I thought she would be a very nice wife.
I smiled wryly while looking at Kaede stroking senpai’s head thinking “Which one of them is the senpai?”
Then, senpai caught me watching and looked at me with a smirk.
“You also want to get spoiled? You can get spoiled by mama, Kouhai”
“No, I don’t…”
“It’s a little embarrassing, but if Hayasaka-kun wants to be pampered, I’ll pamper you to your heart’s content, okay?”
After being told that, I was lost for a moment. If she really did that, I would break.
“I’m fine.”
“Is that so? I’ll spoil you anytime, so please tell me.”
“You can’t have my Mama.”
I thought to myself, “How long are you going to keep calling her mom, you senpai?” Kaede also looked a little disappointed when I said no.
After that, Kaede brought the food to the table and the three of us ate it together.
I picked up The Angel in the park before, but this time I picked up a drunkard (a senior at my part-time job) in the park.
I was wondering if this park had some kind of magical power.
I was a little disappointed that we were no longer alone together on Christmas Eve.
