Chapter 1: Chapter 1 : Arise

It is already 500 years passed since the demon King was defeated and all races can finally live in peace and enjoy their lives, but that doesn't mean everyone gets to live happily. 

" Did you find something?" 

" No, only skeletons. There is nothing here." 

" Look more carefully, there has to be something." 

"I told you there is nothing, you bastard!" 

Two demons were looking around the death bodies of the old war. After the demon King was defeated, demons were treated as slaves and punished for their king's crimes. Kids or old everyone treated same way. 

One of the demons, Daniel, kneeled on the ground because he couldn't walk anymore. 

" Our race is doomed. What is the point of living?" 

"Shut up Daniel, did you forget we have kids in the clan to feed now? Stand and look.There has to be something valuable here." 

Daniel looked at Thomas with tears in his eyes. 

" It is 500 years have passed Thomas, there is nothing left here, don't you understand?" 

" No, there has to be something..." 

They started to look again for 30 minutes until Daniel saw something. 

"Thomas, look, isn't that a big sword?" 

Thomas looked towards where Daniel was pointing and his eyes opened wide. 

" We can sell that sword, come Daniel." 

They started to move toward the sword and as they came near the sword, they started to remove all the sand from the sword and then they saw a hand holding the sword. They dug deeper and found a black Knight. 

" This has to be an Emperor Knight, this sword and his armor have a royal crest mark." 

" Why did they leave the Emperor Knight's body here? Aren't they the most powerful and respectful Knight?"

"I don't know Daniel, but we can sell his armor and sword for a good price. We can feed everyone, go and bring the horse." 

Daniel nodded and as he was about to move, suddenly he saw a group of calvaries moving toward them. 

" No, why are they here? What should we do now, Thomas?" 

Thomas was shocked but he knew they couldn't run. 

"hide the sword now." 

They start to put all the sand back as the calvaries come closer. 

" Don't panic Daniel, otherwise we are death." 

Daniel swallowed his saliva and looked at the knights. 

" Look what we have here: 2 dirty bugs." 

One of the Knights who looked like their captain talked. 

" Sir knight, we were just looking for some water and we found this place we really didn't want to be here." 

" Oh so you are telling me you travelled five thousand meters away from the waterhole in attempt to find water... Hahahaha, as expected, your brain was as stupid as your race, you think I am gonna believe such a foolish reason you drity bug." 

" Let me kill this bug, Capitan Jorge. "

One of the knights kicked Thomas and he knelt on the ground. 

" Why did you come to the forbidden area? "

Again he kicked Thomas harder. 

" Tell me why did you come here? "

" We were looking for valuable objects so we could sell them. "

Daniel couldn't take it anymore and told everything. 

Jorge unmounted and moved towards him and looked at his eyes. 

" That wasn't hard, wasn't the little thief?" 

" What should we do with them, Capitan Jorge?" 

"exactly what anyone would do to a dirty bug, kill them." 

Thomas threw some sand towards Jorge's eyes and took Daniel's hands. 

" Run!"

Daniel was shocked and started to run away.

"you f***ing bastard, I will make you regret being born." 

Jorge rode his horse and started to follow them. 

" We can't run away, Thomas, we are gonna die. The kids, what's gonna happen to them..." 

" Shut up Daniel, there is only one thing we can do." 

" What is that?" 

" That Emperor Knight is our only chance." 

Daniel just looked at him confused.

Thomas gave him a golden potion and pushed him away.

Daniel took the potion and hide in the sand.

Thomas ran in another direction and Calvaries followed him. Daniel immediately ran in the direction of the black sword. 

" You can't run away bug, I am gonna rip you apart." 

Jorge slashed Thomas' leg and Thomas fell. 

"Soldier give me that special potion that Lord Tron had made." 

" Sir, but that..." 

" Shut up, give it to me." 

Jorge takes the black potion and dismount. 

" You dared to dirty my face. A normal death is not enough for you." 

Thomas just laughed at him. 

" You are really a pity Knight, a shame to your race." 

" Shut up." 

Jorge forced Thomas to drink the black potion. 

" This is a special potion made for dirty bugs like you. It will turn your blood into parasites and they will eat you alive." 

Thomas felt his inside getting ripped apart as he felt a pain so unbelievably strong that his brain couldn't take it and he died. 

"hahaha that is one. Soldier, did you find the other one?" 

" Yes sir, we found him with the black gem." 

" Good, let's go." 

Meanwhile, Daniel was not aware of what happened to Thomas as he found the black sword. He started to take all the sand off of Emperor Knight. 

" Please work." 

He opened the golden potion and started to feed it to Emperor Knight, then suddenly an arrow pierced his potion. 

" So you were here 2nd bug." 

Daniel's heart sank as he knew this meant Thomas was dead. 

" Your friend had a nice death there as he was getting eaten alive by parasites." 

'Thomas...' 

" Now let's make a deal. If you tell me your clan place I will let you go. How about it?" 

" Go suck your mommy tites asshole. I won't tell you anything." 

"you...youuu... I won't give you a fast death. I will torture you for years soldier capture him now." 

" Yes sir." 

' So this is the end. In the end, your death was for nothing, Thomas. I am sorry.'

As one of the soldiers was about to take Daniel, the whole sky went dark. 

" What happened??" 

" Capitan, look at the sky." 

" What is that?!" 

A dark creature appeared in the sky as his body covered the whole sky and his golden eyes shone brighter than the moon. 

' Thomas, what did you give me?' 

The dark creature looked at Emperor Knight and suddenly his whole body moved into the emperor Knight's body and then everything went back to normal. 

The Emperor Knight opened his eyes and slowly stood up. He took his black sword and looked at Jorge and his knights with his golden eyes. 

"Humans..." 

A deep and scary voice that shocked Jorge and everyone.
