Chapter 8: Chapter 8 : I am not kind

After we came back to Red castle, I immediately created an ice room and asked Lilith to store the food in it, then I gave Daniel a Knight's armor. 

"My lord, why am I wearing this?" 

"We are gonna go to a human town. Do you want to go there as a demon?" 

"Human town?!" 

"We need more people, Daniel, even if they are humans. I am gonna judge if they are worthy of joining us, so I want you to put your hatred aside." 

"There is no way we can work with humans. Are you crazy?" 

"Miss Lilith!!" 

" Humans kill us like bugs. How do you expect us to work with them?" 

I looked into Lilith's eyes and a sudden urge to cut her tongue rushed toward me. 

"You were working really well with traitors. Now you can't work with a human?" 

I moved forward and with each step she went backwards. 

"Let me make you understand this woman. This is not a request, it is an order. If you can't do it, then I will feed your flesh to your kids. Do you understand?"

"Thomas come here." 

"Yes, Lord Artorias." 

I gave Thomas a red gem. 

"If anything happens, just break this gem and I will here also put your eyes on this woman so she doesn't do anything stupid."

I checked everything one last time before I left.

After 10 days, we were finally at the town of adventure in the United Kingdom. 

Even though it was night, I could see so many groups of adventurers left and right. 

"My lord, the town of adventure is the heart of the United Kingdom. Many people come here from all of the 6 kingdoms to hire adventure. " 

"I really don't care about normal adventures, Daniel, right now we need information." 

"Do you want me to go around and gather information?" 

"No Daniel, that's gonna take a long time and we can't really trust that kind of information." 

I looked around and saw a bar. 

"Let's go, Daniel." 

"A bar, my lord?" 

"Yes, I am thirsty." 

As I moved into the bar, everyone became silent and started to look at me. I didn't pay attention and slowly moved toward the barkeeper. 

"Give me and my companion a glass of water." 

The barkeeper was a fat old man. 

"We don't have water for chickens. Get out of here."

Everyone inside the bar started to laugh and another drunk guy sat beside me. 

"Hey Mr Knight, you are new here, so let me tell you this is a private bar only for high rank adventures, so take your stinky ass out of here, OK?" 

"Hahaha hahahahaha." 

"What's so funny? Huh?" 

"You just said this is a bar for high rank adventures but the only thing I could see here is disgusting old drunk adventures like you." 

"You..." 

Before he could say anything, Daniel punched him in the face and the guy flew away and crashed into others. 

Other guys also started to come but one by one all of them were crushed by Daniel and only the bar keeper was left. 

"I cleaned all of the trash, my lord." 

I just smiled and nodded. 

"Sometimes I wonder how hard it was to just give me a glass of water?"

The barkeeper immediately gave us a glass of water.

I took my water and drank it. 

"Introduce me to someone in this town who knows everything." 

The barkeeper thought for a while and then answered. 

" In the Red Light District in the pleasure salon look for someone called Steve, he should give you what you want." 

"Gave me your seal too. I need it if I want to go in." 

The barkeeper hesitated for a moment but, in the end, gave his seal to me. 

" Hmm, Mr Adam. " 

I took a sack of gold and put it on the table. 

"Thanks for the water." 

I left the bar and the barkeeper, Adam, was standing there shaking as every man in the bar was groaning in pain. 

"My lord, why did you give that rude human your gold?" 

"I will always show my gratitude towards those who help me, Daniel." 

"My lord is so kind." 

I stopped walking as what Daniel said was too ridiculous. 

"No, Daniel, I am not as kind as you think I am. "

After walking for hours, we finally found the Red Light District. 

"hmm so this is the Red Light District." 

"My lord, this place..." 

"I know Daniel, don't worry about it." 

We moved forward and every signal girl in this area gave us offers. 

"Sir Knight, come here. I will show you heaven." 

I ignored her

"It will cost you a few coins, Sir Knight, you won't be disappointed." 

I ignored another one. After all, a normal woman can never satisfy me. She will fall and die before anything happens.

We walked a little more and finally reached pleasure salon. 

I was about to enter, then a guy in a black suit stopped me. 

"No entry without a ticket." 

"I am looking for Steve, the bar keeper Adam sent me." 

I showed him Adam's seal and he nodded. 

"Fine, follow me." 

We nodded and followed him. Inside the salon there were a lot of rich people with music, drugs, alcohol and women.

' Humans never change.' 

We moved upstairs and the guy opened a door and we saw a man in a purple suit. He had glasses and two women beside him. 

"Boss, Adam sent this guy. He wanted to see you." 

I moved forward and asked. 

"You are Steve." 

He looked at me with a smile. 

"Indeed I am Steve."
