Chapter 2: Archer Sect

When the arrow was right above Virgil, Virgil quickly dodged. Of course it surprised Dezath because a lot of arrows just appeared.

          

          "Seriously!" I dodged with all my might. "Who is that!?"

          

          When I looked up, it seemed that the culprit had quickly fled. It's annoying, but I let it go.

          While they were both relaxing, suddenly a monster with a strange shape came uninvited. His form looks like a black goat and its size is large. There was also a tentacle-like thing on its head. Its black aura made the surrounding monsters move away from it.

          "You sinners, perish! Receive punishment from hell!"

          

          In an instant the cave was scorched and left only eternal flames. But Virgil extinguished all the fires using heavenly water and then approached Dezath who took cover using 『Omniversal Barrier』.

          

          "Vi— Virgil, you must be crazy."

          

          "Well, I hope they are in heaven."

          

          Their business in the Cave of Apostasy was over, then they stopped at an uninhabited island that contained the Eastern Church.
