- You took bookstores... The action of an old friend impressed the old sea wolf.

 - It is not as it seems! Jack began to make excuses but was interrupted.

 - Who are you and what did you do with the captain!!! With that, Mr. Gibbs pulled a flintlock pistol from his belt and aimed.

Jack's right eyebrow rose, though his left remained in place. Taking a deep breath, the captain put all the books in their place and, looking at his vice-captain, said in a calm voice:

 - Since we started looking for chests, I was sober. I haven't had any alcohol in my mouth for three whole years. So hurry up and find me that damned rum!

Almost shouting the last sentence, Jack picked up his pirate hat and threw it on the floor.

 - But before that, raise my hat.

Having said this, he turned his back to the entrance and calmly walked to his desk. Sitting down at his luxurious table made of red waxed wood, he began to dig into it.

Mr. Gibbs hid his weapon, picked up his hat from the floor, and placed it on the table. Leaving the cabin, he looked around and said that the ship was ready to sail and was waiting for further commands.

 - First the rum, then the sea. First the rum then the sea. Having said this, Jack thought for a second and then added: - Just sail away now, a little later I will tell you the course.

After a while, Jack, still sober, came out on deck. What he saw there did not impress him, because everything was as usual. The breeze was blowing in his face, Mr. Gibbs was at the helm, two fools were cleaning the deck and the rest were busy with important and not-so-important business.

Approaching the bow of the ship, Jack opened the compass and looked at it. Thinking that he would need someone to tell him about this world, Jack agreed with himself and concentrated on this thought. The compass needle pointed back. The owner of the compass immediately realized that something was wrong.

Going to the helm of the ship, Jack began to walk in circles around Mr. Gibbs, all the while glancing at his compass. He frowned and said:

 - Mr. Gibbs how could you hide rum from me?

-Rum? What rum? I do not know anything! He denied Jack's accusations.

 - Really! And then what is this!?

It is not clear whether it was a question or an exclamation, but as he said this, Jack took the flask and opened it. The classic smell of rum hit his nose.

Jack took a big gulp without hesitation.

 - It was mine! I specifically kept it for something special!

And it was because Mr. Gibbs only liked to drink on special occasions, which was in stark contrast to Jack, who drank rum as much as water. Although the question very often came to the mind of the examiner: What is better, rum or water? Rarely, usually, almost always, the rum won. 60 by 40.

Looking at the compass, Jack understood what course they should take. Taking the helm, he began to turn it until he was satisfied.

Having changed course, the famous pirate said to lower the flag. In an unknown world, it would be better if others did not know what kind of work you do to feed yourself. Moreover, if there are no pirates in this world, then a flag with a skull and bones on a black background is not the best first impression.

After sailing for some time, a small boat appeared on the horizon. It was a small caravel with a ram's head on the front. The boat also had a pirate flag with a skull dressed in some yellow hat. The same pattern could be traced on the ship's sails.

The pirate ship began to run away from Chiognaya Perla. Jack decided to rob this ship before continuing his journey. It cannot be that the goal of their journey is so close. Glancing at the open compass, Captain Jack saw that the arrow of the magic compass pointed to the pirate ship that was running away from them.

Realizing what was happening, Jack revised his plans for the robbery. It's a good thing he hasn't given the order yet because that would be very inconvenient.

A few orders and minutes later, the Black Pearl was already sailing alongside Going Marry.

Having taken her on board, Jack's team went down to the deck of the small ship.

Suppressing a sleeping ... samurai? with three swords, a panicked stalking dude, a dude in a tuxedo with a big curled eyebrow who bought something like a cigar, a girl who was thinking something about herself, and a dude in a red vest with a straw hat Jack asked:

 - Call the captain, I have a conversation with him.

 - I am the captain here! The boy shouted.

Jack leaned down quietly to whisper to his assistant:

 - They understood us!!! I thought it wouldn't work and I'd have to negotiate the good old way.

Mr. Gibbs shook his head vigorously and whispered back,

 - I also thought that it would be possible. Otherwise, I would have to dance with the tambourine again. OH-LE-TICKY-TICKY.

 -OH-LE-TICKY-TICKY. Jack repeated. -OH-LE-TICKY-TICKY.

 - What are you whispering there? I want too! The captain choked.

 - Good. So what do you say your name is?

 - I'm Monkey D. Luffy. I am the one who will become the king of pirates!

 - It may sound strange, but we did not come from this world and do not know anything about it. We were advised to contact you and would like to ask about...everything if possible.
