After sailing from Logtown, Jack already knew what he was going to do. An idea to shorten the path from the Grandline entrance to the end of the New World. By Jack's standards, this plan has a pretty high chance of ... failure.
So he decided to play it safe. Opening the secret place again, he took one object from there.
This time no one bothered him and he successfully hid everything.
Stepping out onto the deck, he saw an amazing sight. Part of the mountain could be seen protruding from the giant wall. The mountain itself stretched beyond the clouds. A turbulent flow of water ran uphill against the force of gravity. Jack knew that there were three more such streams. They all met at the top of the mountain. There was another flow, the fifth. It connected the four streams at the top with the Grandline.
Jack gave the command to lower the sails and start throwing ropes on both sides of the bank to brake.
Then, as despite this the ship began to speed up, Jack gave the order to drop the anchors.
- I dare not disobey your orders, Captain, but could you share with us what we are doing?
Mr. Gibbs spoke uncertainly as he slouched. Although Jack was too busy giving orders and watching the horizon as if he were reading something, Jack Sparrow did answer.
-We? We are sailing Mr. Gibbs. Do we swim slowly to be able to turn to the right? was it to the left??? No no no. It was there. Yes there.
Jack pointed his finger in the direction he wanted to turn. This was very close to 130% reversals. Which was strange.
- I'm afraid I don't understand, sir.
- Oh... then you don't need to kill your little brains with all kinds of things.
-...
Mr. Gibbs decided to leave this conversation without comment because he did not see any sense in it.
After a few hours, Jack and his team were incredibly tired. They could barely keep up. But their steel will keep them on their feet and make them move their arms.
When they were almost up the mountain, their equipment could not keep up with the insane load. The ropes began to tear, the anchor chain began to crack, and small pieces of iron began to break off from the anchor itself.
Despite all the difficulties, our crazy team continued. With incredible efforts, they were able to slowly swim up the mountain. Only a small particle remained - to go down against the current.
But before going down, they have to turn around. Which was about as hard as climbing that mountain.

But before turning around, they still need to stop, because the current at the very top of the mountain is the strongest.
After dropping all three anchors and hooking the cables on the rocks of Rivers Mountain, the team was finally able to rest.
A large number of human bodies lay on the deck in the position of a starfish. Jack himself sat with his back against the door of his cabin and waved his hand from time to time as if turning the pages of a book.
Mr. Gibbs crawled up to his Captain and asked a question that had been gnawing at him for some time:
-What are you doing?
Jack lazily turned his head in his direction and answered in a slurred voice:
-Mr. Gibbs, as far as I know, you know me well, and I know that you know that I know that we will not betray each other. So, taking into account the last mentioned logical ... operations, I came to the conclusion that I can tell you. Although you already know it.
- ... Mr. Gibbs could not answer that.
Jack got up and went to his cabin, motioning for the sea wolf to follow him.
In the cabin, Jack began his story:
- As you already know, we hunted for twelve chests. As far as I know, part of your memory has been erased. So I'll tell you... I'll tell you... that we, me and you, whispering it and pointing first at myself then at Mr. Gibbs, Jack continued, found the last chest. In it, we found a scroll of truth. Although it was a book. When I finished writing in it, we were transported here, to this reality, as I wrote. I also wrote some additions about the book at the end of the book. One of them was that it remains in my free access. I also added some security and an app that I don't remember another security.
Now I am the whole book with all the information about this world. It exists in different forms. And now I look at it to be ready for...anything and to know...various things.
Just as Jack was about to continue, several cannonballs pierced the cabin. Everyone's ears stopped at the sound of explosions. A few seconds later, the alien ship rammed the Black Pearl.
Jack looked down with wide eyes. A piece of wood pierced his stomach, lungs, and heart. Feeling incredible pain, Jack looked over only to see Mr. Gibbs lying covered in blood.
At the last breath, which was given to Jack with incredible pain, he reached for his compass. But he did not take the compass. Next to the compass he took a gold pocket watch. Bringing it up to eye level, Jack began to rewind it. As soon as he started, all the noise died down. There was incredible silence. It was as if all the sound had stopped. But it wasn't sound, it was time. Turning the clock back, all objects began to move in the opposite direction. The room resumed with Mr. Gibbs standing up and now listening intently to Jack. But Jack kept spinning. He couldn't stop. By turning the clock back four hours, Jack was finally able to stop interacting with the clock.
Leaving his cabin, Jack looked and saw that they were blowing up Reverse Mountain. Jack gave the order to turn back to Logtown and went to his cabin. It was a long day.
