I wasn’t sure if it was the screaming or the smell of something burning that pulled me out of that short sleep but hearing someone cry, “Healer!” made me bolt to my feet.

My half-open eyes caught sight of the blue glow atop my pile of things, which was when I noticed two things. First, it was three in the morning, a time that realmsverse scholars have dubbed the witching hour, particularly because of the large volume of random events that seem to occur during this hour mark. Secondly, there was a notification on my bar that detailed a new quest from Mistress Lorelai.
