Chapter 11: Chapter 10: Troy The Inferno Conquerer pt.3

I quickly woke up at near by stump, blood pouring out from my head. As I stood up, I felt a sharp pain near my stomach. I placed my left hand onto it and used my right to stop the blood from pouring while Rachel was beside me. My iron chestplate had been completely shattered as I felt several of my ribs broken and being pierced by the pieces from the impact.

My head was still in a dazed state as I clumsily stood up with Rachel in hand "H-How long was I knocked out for?" I sensed that it wasn't too long, maybe a couple of minutes had passed by.

*Clink!!!!* *Clank!!!!!*

"H-Huh? O-Oh no... Not now!" Hector got a thing or two when he was down and out. He would normally get up and shook it off like it was nothing but that hit he just took was probably more than he could bear and that was a rare time for me to see him going all berserker like that.

When I got back to the place. The Obsidian wasn't trap in place anymore and it was using its head to bash against Hector's brute force axe swings. All the while countering Kokoharu's C to B-tier summons with its tail.

"Ah! There you are Troy! Let me heal you!"

"How's the situation?"

"Well, when you were flung away and knocked out, the Obsidian tore apart the shackles and went on a rampage. Then Kokoharu started summoning Snowmen and Water Golem to distract it. I was throwing low tier Water balls at it as well when Hector ran out of the forest and headbutted the thing so hard that it got thrown right into a tree"

"Yeah... That's Hector for you... Alright, I'm gonna snap Hector out of his fury! I'm going in and you stay in the back with Kokoharu!"

"Sure!"

I ran towards Hector. He kept swinging his axe non-stop while the Obsidian kept up its guard by using its wings to block. Normally for a regular dragon, this would end in an instant but due to its obsidian steel like wings it endured all of it while moving back. With every swings, the ground below Hector shaked and from the forces of his swings gave out small shockwaves that cut the trees around him like it was nothing.

*Pant* *Pant* *Pant*

"Hey, Kokoharu! Are you alright?"

"Oh... Hey captain... N-No I'm fine, just tired is all..."

"Rest easy, those familiars you summoned and controlled must have done a great number on you"

"Hehe... I'm still fine, I'm not weak like I used to~ B-But... I think I'm gonna lay down on this patch of grass for a bit... to you know... regain my strength back" Kokoharu then fell down face first and slept soundly.

"Take care of Kokoharu! Me and Hector would be enough!"

"You can count on me!"

I rushed towards Hector again when Kokoharu was safe with Helen.

"HAAAAAAAAAA!" Hector produced a deadly swing, it was "Guillotine" the heavier the weapon and the strength of the wielder the more powerful it got.

"Whoa! Hector! Are you trying to kill me!? Snap out of it already!" The Obsidian blocked it but I could tell that multiple of its scales were broke off as it flew everywhere and its body vibrated from the tremendous shockwave. A clear cut on the ground was visible right after but it seemed like he was using a combo of "Guillotine" and "Earth Shattering Strike", I stepped to the side and narrowly avoided it by the skin of my teeth.

With his true strength had finally been revealed, I thought that we could actually pull this off.

"I'll cover you!" I immediately jumped above Obsidian, holding Rachel firmly behind my shoulders. Determining where to strike, I decided to go for the wings with the least amount of armour. Leaning my body forward, I used the momentum of Rachel to guide me downward as I took a clean cut of its right wing.

"GYYOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" It screamed out in pain. But this time it's even more powerful as me and Hector got blown away, I flown in the air getting higher and higher. I watched as the creature using its neck and back hind legs to slither forward like some kind of two legged Basilisk. It aggressively using its jaw to try and bit off Hector's head while he's still in his craze state. But Hector, probably sensing that he was in a tight spot, shielded his head with his axe. But Hector's axe quickly gave in as it got shattered by its devastating bite force. It was probably at its wits end by that point and was probably tired from Hector's brutal onslaughts. It then swung his head at him and sent him flying away through a couple of trees again.

*Phewww*

I took a few deep breaths while in the air. Hector was probably able to wear it down to the point that I could get a clean cut out of it.

"This is it!"

I took my shot, using Rachel's weight to propel myself downward. The wind pressure was enough to make one lose consciousness but not for me!

*BOOOOMMMM!!!*

I performed "Guillotine" again but this time it got more power to it. Rachel cut right through its tough scales as I felt the sharp blade slicing the ground below and the damn thing in two. Ending the battle...
