Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Unexpected meeting.

During the duration Tobi has been exercising a rowboat has been slowly getting swept by the waves towards the island.

 

'Hm? What's that in the sea? Oh its a rowboat but why can't I see anyone on board? That's strange. Guess I'll finish the sprint first then check the boat.'

Panting heavily Tobi sat up next to a tree to catch his breath. Meanwhile the rowboat has already  beached on the island a few dozen meters away from him.

 

5 minutes later Tobi proceeds to walk over to the small boat wondering what's inside. However what was inside came to a complete shock to the young boy.

 

'Is that Nico Robin? She looks so young. WAIT does this mean Ohara has been destroyed by the buster call. So I'm somewhere near Ohara in the west blue.'

 

Tobi carefully picks up Robin in a princess carry without waking the sleeping child and carries her in search of some sort of shelter. 15 minutes of walking later Tobi's arms are aching and close to just dropping, however he is preserving just because he doesn't want to wake her up. Another 5 minutes has passed until Tobi finally found a small cave which goes in a few dozen meters.

 

Tobi opened the system shop and brought some bandages and a bottle of water, spending 10 points for the water and 100 for the bandages. He did this because she has light cuts and bruises and Tobi didn't want Robin to get infected so he applied some water to the cuts then a bandage to cover the light wounds.

 

Whilst Tobi was bandaging the young girl. The young girl was slowly stirring awake, the instant she realized someone was touching his she instantly pushes him away and crosses her arms to use her devil fruit

 

"Wait wait wait" the boy says to her. "I'm not here to harm you I'm just patching up your wounds because I was worried"

 

Robin listened to the boy and looked over her own body and realized he was telling the truth. But she still didn't let him go in fear of what may happen.  

 

"W..who are you?" A sweet but tired voice asks

 

"I don't know myself. It sounds weird I know but I don't remember anything about myself except my name and age, my name is Tobi and I'm 10" the boy gives his sweetest smile to try and show he Is not against her.

 

"How is that possible?" Robin asks with a sceptical voice

 

"Good question, I wish I knew myself" Tobi gives a sad smile. "Can you please let me go?"

 

"I'm watching you so you don't do anything against me." Robin says with firm.

 

During the duration the 2 of them were talking. A white bird was flying in the sky with a hat and hag on him. The bird didn't realize there is a slight hole in the bag where one of the pieces of paper inside slips out and slowly flutters to the ground.

 

'Hm what's that? Tobi wonders as he sees something land on the ground outside.' Tobi continues walking towards the entrance of the cave with Robin and on the ground a few meters away is a wanted poster.

Tobi instantly turns around and just hugs Robin and rubs his hand on the back of her head calming her down "there there calm down I'm here for you" Tobi whispers sweetly into her ears.

Robin is trying her best to keep her tears in whilst asking with a shaky voice "why are you doing this..?" 

 

"Hm your a young girl with a bounty and not a low one. Regardless of the reason I doubt you did anything for the bounty. So just calm down and relax for now. We will figure things out in the future." Tobi says refusing to let the girl go.

 

Tobi hears slight sobbing in his ear and just hugs her tighter. 2 hours later both children were talking to each other before Robin falls asleep. Tobi gets up walks closer to her and lays her head on his lap whilst he is stroking her head.

 

'Groan' Robin wakes up feeling comfortable and relaxed. She looks up to see Tobi swinging his sword, for the next 10 minutes they continue what they're doing.

 

"Good morning Robin." Tobi says when realizes she's awake. 

"Good morning Tobi" Robin says with a smile on her face. "Shall we go look for a village?" Tobi asks "we need information and I want to have better food then just fruits"

 

An hour later both children see a small town In the distance and starts walking towards it. They manage to get in the town with little problem. Since they spoke they decided to split up and do different things. Robin is going to use her hana hana no mi to try and gather information whilst I try to get a job in the town. And then they would meet in 3 hours time near the tallest building. 

 

Tobi was sat on a bench In town waiting for Robin. 10 minutes later she walks towards him and they walk towards an Inn to buy a room for themselves. They pay for the room and then talk about what has happened during the day.

 

Tobi said he managed to get a job at a bar just helping around and Robin told him all the some what useful information. I say useful when really it wasn't anything important at all that could help them.

 

Just like that a month has passed. Nothing has really happened except both of them training their bodies and Robin her devil fruit. Tobi has been working at the local bar and is managing to get some gossip from the customers and Robin has been gathering intelligence. 

 

I'm the last few days more marines have been entering the town and surroundings. "Robin we're leaving this place tonight and we're gonna try go to another island."

 

"Okay lets start preparing then." 20 minutes later both of them are walking out of the town at a moderate pace towards the rowboat Robin used. Just as the 2 were getting close to the shore they heard a yell and 5 marines were running towards them. 

 

"RUN ROBIN" Yelled Tobi as he turned around and unsheathed his sword and started fighting with his poor swordsmanship. Although he has poor swordsmanship he was still able to give Robin enough time to escape. Tobi turns towards her and gives her a sweet smile and gets pierced through his stomach.

 

"TOBI" Robin yelled at the top of her lungs. "Bahahha 'cough cough' hahah" Tobi coughs up blood whilst laughing. "Just live your life how you want to Robin. Worst case I die here, not like it matters much anyway." Tobi says whilst on the ground.

 

Tobi stares straight into the eyes of the person he thinks is the highest rank there and says "What you gonna kill a 10 year old child who hasn't done anything wrong?"

 

The marine scorns the child whilst saying "you protected a wanted fugitive, that gives me enough jurisdiction to kill you" 

 

"Bahahha. An eight year old girl who can't even hurt an animal is a wanted criminal 'cough cough' go on then finish me off Mr Big bad wolf." Tobi replies.

 

"GHAAHAHAH, I like you runt wanna join the marines." A man with grey and black hair asks the kid who is sat up against a tree bleeding.

 

"Old man you realise I'm on deaths door right. Plus why would I join the people who are going against my only friend!"

 

"We can easily save you but do you want to be saved is the question? However if u do I will force u into the marines. So what's your choice runt." The old man questions. 

 

"So death or the marines huh. Fuck it I'll join the marines." The kid managed to squeeze out. "Ghaaha thought so. He doc come patch this runt up."
