Liu Qinghe walked to the bathroom at the back of the store before entering her space. After a quick shower and a change of clothes, she finally felt alive. After yesterday's fight, her clothes smelled like rags and were terribly dirty. She soaked her clothes in a basin full of lake water. She will come back to wash later.

 

Walking to the kitchen, she made a simple breakfast. Scallion pancakes, fish porridge, apples and warm milk. When she's done cooking, she puts it in the food container and leaves her space.

The girl sitting next to him was sobbing, while another man lay in the lounge beside their table with a flushed face.

 

“I will go check for supplies.” She said while standing up.

 

“I will go with you.” Huo Yanxiao said.

 

Nodding her head, they walked towards the kitchen area. This family restaurant should have some frozen food stored in their warehouse. With her space, there is no problem storing those frozen foods. It won’t go bad if placed inside her space.

 

They walked past the family and she could hear their faint conversations. 

 

“Big brother, what should we do? Second brother’s fever is still not getting better. If we can’t find medicine for him, I’m afraid the second brother won’t be able to hold on.” The girl said while sobbing.

 

“HuanHuan is right. We need to find a way to get the medicine.” The middle-aged man said worriedly.

 

"If we walk for a few more hours, we can reach the Eagle base. They must have medicine there. Mom, Dad, don't worry. Jizheng will be fine."

 

Liu Qinghe had already walked into the kitchen and could no longer hear their conversation. But from that brief conversation, she knew there was a survivor base nearby. If they need to walk for hours to get to that place, it usually takes about an hour or two using a car.
