Public Hall, Mission counter.
"Hello, we are here to report our mission." Huo Yanxiao said.
The officer looked up from her file and smiled when she saw them. "Your team is very efficient. You took the assignment two days ago and came back today. Come inside with me.” The officer stood up and walked towards the side room.
“Lihua, you wait here with Yanxiao and Miss Nie. I’ll be right back.” Liu Qinghe said before following the officer to the side room.
After ten minutes, they came out. "Your team submitted fifty kilograms of staple food, ten cans of canned fruit, and two cans of oil." the officer said as she wrote down the details of their mission.
"You can use this to exchange supplies, cores, residence or weapons. Your team rewards are recorded in this badge. Don't lose this badge, whoever has it can use it." The officer explained, while handing them an A4-sized steel plate.
"Thank you, officer. From now on, we will bother you." Liu Qinhe said, taking the steel plate and handing the officer a fresh apple.
Her orchard was ready for harvest this morning, so this apple is fresh. There is still some dew on it. The officer was surprised when she saw the red apple. Since the apocalypse, she has never eaten hot rice, let alone fresh fruit. Fresh fruit and fresh vegetables have become apocalyptic luxuries.
Since someone gave it to her, she would not refuse. There's nothing wrong with taking advantage of her position. After all, many people do this, and as long as they don't cross the line, this much is acceptable.
The officer took the fresh apple and said, "Thank you. If there is a special mission, I will contact you first."
“Great!”
After reporting their mission, they went to the residence counter to receive permanent resident certificates for Yang Lihua and Nie Anqi, and at the same time registered Yang Lihua into the team. Nie Anqi expressed her intention to join their team several times, but Huo Yanxiao refused without changing his face.
Nie Anqi’s face turned ugly when she was rejected again. “Why can she join but I can’t? I'm better at fighting than her. You have to give me an explanation, or I won't let go." She said coldly.
Huo Yanxiao looked at her and said coldly, “No reason. I'm just disgusted with you.”
Nie Anqi's face turned pale when she heard his cruel words. It was the worst humiliation she had ever encountered in her lifetime. "No matter what, I'm your fiancé. You should keep that in mind." She said through gritted teeth.
Liu Qinghe and Yang Lihua looked at each other when they heard this information. Their melon-eater souls suddenly woke up, and the way they looked at them changed. Before they could process the gossip, they were bombed by another gossip.
"Our family does have a marriage agreement, but there's no statement that it must be you and me. We've never had an engagement party, not to mention you have a boyfriend. I'm not interested in other people's girlfriends." Huo Yanxiao left after he finished talking, ignoring the fuming Nie Anqi behind him.
“You are mine, and I always get what I want."
When Liu Qinghe passed by Nie Anqi, she heard her words. She turned her head and saw Nie Anqi's twisted face.
Since Yang Lihua is an ability-user, they asked her to be appointed in the same room as Baozi. Her siblings currently live in that room, with her being appointed there, they don’t need to worry about living with strangers. Yang Lihua agrees with this arrangement.

Knock knock knock!
When they got to Yang Lihua's room, they knocked on the door. Although Yang Lihua has the keys, she still doesn't know how to face her brother and tell him about their parents. So, she knocked on the door while preparing her heart.
Criett…
As soon as the door opened, they saw Yang Liqiang, who was pale and covered in injuries. He was covered in cold sweat, and some wounds were still oozing pus. When they saw his condition, they were all startled. It's only been a few days since they last met. How did he become like this?
Yang Liqiang narrowed his eyes and saw more clearly. Seeing his sister, he dared not believe. "Lihua? Is it really you?"
"Brother, how did you become like this? What happened?" Yang Lihua asked with tears streaming down her face. She walked in and hugged Yang Liqiang's body.
“It's a long story. Qinghe, Yanxiao, come in first. I have let you guys see a joke.” He said with a slight smile.
“What are you talking about? Didn’t I tell you to find me if you need anything? Why do you not tell us even in this state? Don't you consider us friends?" Liu Qinghe said with a frown after sitting down on the sofa.
Yang Liqiang chuckled and whispered, "I'm sorry. I just don't want to bother you with my problems."
"Stop talking nonsense. You should eat first, then take medicine." Liu Qinghe took out a bottle of lake water, a few meat buns, warm soy milk, and aspirin as she spoke.
Yang Lihua swallowed when she saw the hot food in front of her. Suddenly, a meat bun was stuffed into her hand, and she heard Liu Qinghe's voice, "Eat."
Her eyes turned red and she ate in silence. This is the first time she has eaten hot food since the apocalypse. During the meal, Liu Qinghe used her ability to heal Yang Liqiang's wound. No one but their team and Nie Anqi knew she had healing powers. Therefore, when Yang Liqiang and Yang Lihua looked at her, their eyes lit up.
After entering the room, Huo Yanxiao said nothing. But when he saw Liu Qinghe's face turning pale, he finally said, "Enough. You should know your limit."
When Liu Qinghe heard this, she stopped. She managed to heal most of the wounds, only some deep wounds were not fully healed. Left with minor scars and his fever. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that the puss had disappeared. His life is no longer in danger.
“I couldn’t heal your fever. Looks like you are in the middle of awakening your ability.” Liu Qinghe said while sipping on her lake water.
"Thank you, Qinghe." Yang Liqiang said.
"Okay, now can you tell us what happened to you?" Liu Qinghe asked. She was curious about what happened to him.
Hearing her words, Yang Liqiang's eyes dimmed. He was silent for a while before saying, "It's not a big deal. It's just that I'm useless, I couldn't give my sister enough food, so she left with another group of people."
"Then, what happened to your wound?" Liu Qinghe asked again. She would not believe that Yang Lixue had nothing to do with his injury. When she left that day, she clearly saw the hatred in Yang Lixue's eyes.
Yang Liqiang remained silent. No matter what, Yang Lixue is his sister. He would take it as the last thing he gave his sister. The next time they meet, they won't be family anymore.
"Brother, tell us what happened!" Yang Lihua said impatiently.
