    Jiang Yi had gone to see the match between Zhong Yu’s team and the university opposite them. Chu Chuan and he had gotten together not long ago, going as far to find Zhong Yu and asking him to leave him a seat at the very front with the best view. 

    Zhong Yu pouted, “I had so many matches in the past, why have I never seen you this enthusiastic about them?” 

    Jiang Yi just smiled and walked away. 

    “Gay bastards…” Zhong Yu mumbled behind him. 

    Jiang Yi’s hearing was very good, coming back and hitting him on the shoulder, “What did you say, Lao Zhong?” He even put a finger into his ear, digging around. 

    “I’ll try my best.” Zhong Yu smiled. 

    On the day of the match, Zhong Yu put him in the substitute seat on the court. 

    Seeing one of the boards on the audience seats had “Chu Chuan’s girlfriends”, Jiang Yi looked calm on the surface, but he was actually trying his best not to roll his eyes. Chu Chuan would never date a bunch of girls like you, besides, he had a boyfriend.

    Too bad he couldn’t tell them, tsk. 

     His mind was dragged back into his body when a shirt went flying at his face. Jiang Yi pulled off the shirt, anger blatantly displayed on his face but when he saw who had thrown the shirt, a smile instantly appeared instead. He hugged the shirt tightly in his embrace. 

    Chu Chuan raised a leg to the edge of the chair and bent down to tie his shoelaces. Jiang Yi raised his head slightly as he hugged his shirt, staring at him. He suddenly felt the impulse to kiss Chu Chuan in front of the entire court. 

    But thoughts were only thoughts, Jiang Yi didn’t have the courage to actually do it. Sometimes when he woke up, he’d think Chu Chuan liking him was nothing but a dream. But reality had proved him wrong numerous times. Joy bloomed in Jiang Yi’s heart and he carefully maintained that feeling. 

    After Chu Chuan tied his laces, he turned to him. Jiang Yi quickly hid the feelings in his eyes, not hiding the like in his eyes. 

    “What do you keep staring at me for?” 

    “You look good.” 

    Chu Chuan continued looking at him, a clear look of disbelief in his eyes but he didn’t continue asking. 

    After a long time, when Jiang Yi remembered this again, he realised that Chu Chuan must have guessed what he was thinking. Because they came out of the closet that celebration night. 

    The person who did it wasn’t him, but Chu Chuan. 

    Men on the basketball court were good looking, there was nothing wrong with saying it. 

    Jiang Yi couldn’t move his eyes away from the other’s body. His tensed muscles when he was preparing to jump, the beautiful waistline revealed when jumping and the smooth forehead exposed when the wind blew.

    Everyone was watching the match, only he was looking at men. Jiang Yi even put on a look of “Although I can’t play basketball, I understand it”. 

    When it was match point, Chu Chuan did a layup and got them the point. The screams from the hall were loud enough to scream the roof off. 

    After the referee blew the whistle, the braver girls in the audience seats shouted out his shirt number and confessed, but Chu Chuan didn’t turn towards them one bit. Some cheerleading girls also passed him a towel and water but after Chu Chuan politely rejected it, he took the towel and water from Jiang Yi’s hands. 

    Zhong Yu stood in the middle of a few girls, drinking water as he glanced at the substitute seat. Doing layups? Acting cool for who? Why does it feel like the longer I look at them the more I feel like they’re gay?? Maybe I should see an eye doctor. 

    After the match ended, Jiang Yi followed Chu Chuan into the changing room. They came early and found it empty. Jiang Yi sat somewhere and Chu Chuan stood beside him, preparing to take off the basketball shirt. 

    Jiang Yi’s eyes slid down to his waist. 

    But Chu Chuan released his grip, letting the shirt fall and covering his waistline. 

    Jiang Yi retracted his gaze dejectedly. 

    Chu Chuan once again pinched the corners of his shirt and lifted it again. This time, the shirt had been lifted to his chest, revealing a large portion of his abs. 

    Jiang Yi’s eyes lightened, licking his lips. 

    Chu Chuan let the shirt fall again. 

    “……”

    He only figured it out a beat later, snapping his head up to see Chu Chuan’s eyes filled with silent laughter. 

    “……” 

    “Teasing the dog?”  

    “Yup, teasing my dog.” 

    “……”

    Chu Chuan pressed his forehead, planting a kiss on his mouth and stood up, a hint of laughter in his eyes, “For the dog.” 

    “……”
