Ch1 - Mr. He

It was already in the wee hours when Xu ChengYan received the call.

“Come and pick me up.” The man on the other end of the phone had a husky voice, and the background music was chaotic.

After that, the other party hung up the phone.

Immediately afterwards, Xu ChengYan also received a message of a location and the location showed that it was in a local bar.

Xu ChengYan held back his sleepiness, got up and changed his clothes, picked up the car keys and hurried out the door.

Winter had just passed, and it was still a little cold outside. Xu ChengYan wrapped his coat tightly and got into the car.

Although it was already one o’clock in the morning, there was still a lively scene on Central Street, with shop lights lit everywhere.

Xu ChengYan came to the bar, passed through the crowd skillfully, and walked towards the private room inside. When he opened the door, he saw the man surrounded by the crowd at a glance.

The lights in the box were dim and the scene was chaotic. Several young men were sitting and drinking together, while the man in the middle of the sofa was leaning on the back of the sofa casually, shaking a wine glass in his hand.

Suddenly, the man seemed to notice something and looked up in the direction of the door.

Someone in the box also noticed the figure at the door and jeered: “Yanyan is here!”

“He really came! Even at this hour!”

“After all, it was Young Master He who made the phone call, and Yanyan definitely would come!”

A group of young men joked and they all looked at the man in the middle of the sofa.

The man glanced at the black-haired young man at the door, put the wine glass on the table, and said to the others, “I’ll go back first.”

“Hey, Young Master He is leaving?”

“Young Master He won’t have a few more drinks?”

The man ignored the voices around him, just walked straight out of the box, and because the bar was a little hot, he pulled his tie at will.

After getting in the car, the man leaned back in the seat tiredly and closed his eyes.

The two were very close, and Xu ChengYan could still smell the strong smell of alcohol on the man, and said softly, “If XianSheng doesn’t like it, don’t drink so much next time.”

Back at the apartment, He Yang took off his jacket and threw it on the sofa.

Xu ChengYan walked over, hung the clothes on the sofa on the coat rack next to him, and said at the same time, “XianSheng, I’ll make the soup.”

Xu ChengYan walked towards the kitchen, preparing to make a hangover soup.

“No need.” He Yang leaned on the sofa, rubbed his eyebrows, and asked in a low voice, “Are there any more wontons?”

“Only one last portion is left.” Xu ChengYan came to the refrigerator, “I was planning to save it for XianSheng for tomorrow morning.

“Then I’ll eat wontons now.”

Xu ChengYan smiled and couldn’t help asking: “If you eat it now, what will XianSheng eat tomorrow morning?”

“We’ll talk about it tomorrow.” He Yang said casually.

Xu ChengYan held back his smile and took out a bowl of wrapped wontons from the refrigerator.

XianSheng still liked to eat wontons so much.

Xu ChengYan suddenly remembered that when he first moved in to live with XianSheng, he made a bowl of wontons on a whim one day for XianSheng to eat. After that, XianSheng became fond of eating wontons, and he would prepare wonton wrappers in advance at home.

Then this habit had been maintained for five years.

Xu ChengYan went into the kitchen, and after the wontons were cooked, he went to the dining room and shouted to the living room: “XianSheng, it’s done.

He Yang, who was leaning on the sofa, got up and walked step by step.

Xu ChengYan took a spoon and put it on the plate, reminding: “It may be a little hot.”

He Yang didn’t say anything, just looked at the young man at the table, a little lost.

The young man’s peach blossom eyes were filled with tenderness. He was wearing a white shirt with slightly rolled up sleeves. It seemed that the top two buttons of the shirt were not fastened because it was hot in the kitchen.

He Yang’s eyes fell on the young man’s fair collarbone. He suddenly got up and leaned over, hugged the young man from behind, and lowered his head to rest on the young man’s shoulder.

Xu ChengYan was stunned for a moment, and said, “XianSheng?”

He Yang still didn’t answer. He lowered his head and rested on the young man’s shoulder, rubbing lightly. One hand stretched out to the young man’s front, and unbuttoned the shirt buttons one by one.

The two had already had intimacy too many times, and Xu ChengYan also knew what He Yang meant, but he still asked, “XianSheng is not going to eat first?”

“I’ll eat later.” He Yang replied at random. He exerted a little force and picked the person up and walked towards the living room.

He Yang put the young man in his arms on the sofa and looked down at the person in front of him.

He Yang looked at the pair of peach blossom eyes, slowly raised his hand, untied the necktie around his neck, then immediately covered the tie over the young man’s eyes, and leaned down.

And the bowl of hot wontons was still left alone on the dining table, from steaming hot to getting cold.

Until the end, He Yang didn’t have a chance to eat those wontons.

However, He Yang had already “eaten” another supper.

When He Yang woke up the next morning, the bed beside him was empty.

He Yang got up and walked along the corridor, smelling the fragrance coming from the kitchen.

He Yang leaned against the kitchen wall and saw the young man in pajamas making breakfast in the kitchen.

Xu ChengYan also heard the movement behind him. He looked back and smiled: “I got up a little late in the morning, I didn’t have time to buy wonton wrappers, so I just bought dumplings and came back.”

The dumplings in the pot were already cooked; Xu ChengYan turned off the heat, and took two bowls.

After the two of them had breakfast, He Yang went back to the bedroom to change clothes.

He Yang had to go to the company in the morning, and Xu ChengYan was holding a necktie beside him.

Xu ChengYan helped He Yang tie his necktie, and then asked, “XianSheng, are you coming back for dinner tonight?”

“Maybe.” He Yang said lightly.

Xu ChengYan adjusted He Yang’s tie, raised his head, and smiled at the man, “Then I’ll wait for XianSheng at night.”

“Uhm.” He Yang replied somewhat indifferently, and turned to leave.

Xu ChengYan looked at He Yang’s back, but didn’t feel anything. After all, he was used to the indifference of the man.

XianSheng had always been like this. He was indifferent to everyone around him. Even in front of his friends, he was always calm and rarely showed his emotions.

At the beginning, Xu ChengYan was still at a loss, he was uncertain whether XianSheng liked him or not.

But later, after the two got along for a long time, he gradually stopped thinking about it, because XianSheng was such an iceberg character.

He had always been waiting, waiting for the day when the iceberg melts.

But even if the iceberg didn’t melt, just maintaining the current status quo was enough.

At least, he was the most special person around XianSheng.

They lived together like a couple for five years.

And he was the only one by XianSheng’s side; there were no other messy little lovers or anything.

Everything was so perfect, it was like a dream.

He was already very satisfied.
