It's about time we leave this mountain. 

Scarlet seems to be scared of the surrounding forest but I assured her that she was safe.

As I started moving with Scarlet on my body I barely managed to project a barrier and stop an incoming projectile.

It was aiming for Scarlet.

Out in the forest, I see I bipedal lizard taunting me while seeing Scarlet shiver.

Alright, time to exterminate all the harmful wildlife. My first priority is that damned lizard.

Surrounding cities went into full alert and S ranked adventures were called to defend them as everyone was expecting a second stampede but nothing came, a odd event that will be recorded as the biggest false alarm in history.

I'm actually a bit shocked that Scarlet was not put off by the gory scene.She even stopped being scared.

When I asked her, she said monsters are a hazard to all living things as they kill indiscriminately. She even said she was happy to get all sorts of rare parts from them. She also said that some of their meats are delicacies, watching her eat happily is now one of my favorite pastimes 

Another interesting thing is that Scarlet's job unexpectedly changed into Item Contractor after we started to get to know eachother 

As we were traveling to find a city, Scarlet told me and taught me a lot more about this world

Apparently, this world's name is Grias.There are four main races, humans who are blessed by the gods, the beastmen who worship primal spirits, the elfs who worship and guard the world tree and the demons who obey a deity foreign to this world. Monsters are animals or even one of the races who fall into madness due to corrupted mana.

Most creatures can use magic which has its own unique energy source which is mana however the creature must have affinity with a specific type of magic. I can't use any magic except Chaos Magic which I copied.

I'm sure that it is dangerous to unseal it but I'll use it as a last resort

After chatting and telling Scarlet stories about my world for a few days, we finally managed to reach some plains. In the distance I see a huge walled fortress that looks armed to the teeth

As we reached the huge entrance. I stored the assault drone body in the dimensional bag as it's too conspicuous. I was rejected by the dimensional bag so Scarlet is carrying me in her hand.

The guards asked Scarlet to put her hands on some kind of orb and as it glowed green they let us in after giving a silver coin

I just hope this new chapter of our lives goes smoothly.
