Chapter 9: New Home

After the test we met Henry

Scarlet says Henry is very strong due to his unique class Imitator. He can learn any type of skill except unique but cannot use it at it's original performance. 

Henry is also the man who helped us in the alley. He seems to like heroes a lot and aspires to be one

Scarlet seemed excited looking  outside the carriage that Henry called. 

Henry started to explain about each shop Scarlet was looking at while we were moving

After about two hours we reached Lillian's home. Me and Scarlet were surprised when we got there, we were expecting a cottage but this is a whole mansion!

It even had a bunch of servants

Upon entering the mansion we were guided by Henry

We were introduced to the garden, kitchen, library and main hall.

Scarlet was especially happy when she found out about the library. 

After the tour we were introduced to the servants

Upon meeting with maids, Scarlet was abducted by them. Oddly enough Henry looked calm and said that even he cannot go against the will of the maids. He looked oddly weary while saying it.

Scarlet later came out completely clean and polished. She was blushing immensely and the maids looked very satisfied.

Lillian then came back home.

She looked surprised when seeing Scarlet

"Scarlet you were a diamond in the rough weren't you" said Lillian

Scarlet looked confused

"Many men will fall and despair in the future,now I have another dense disciple.Anyway, let's have dinner" 

Scarlet, Henry and Lillian went to the main hall and began to have dinner

She seemed a bit out of it and kept staring at me

Ah, my promise to make her a meal !!

She has started to pout while staring at me

Lillian and Henry looked with suspicion but they then asked if they could try some.

"It grew hands !!!" said some of the maids

As I entered the kitchen a squad of maids followed me

The ingredients stocked were mostly basic spices and and and some vegetables.

I'll make spaghetti.

Using material manipulation I can make the noodles directly from flour.

Next is to sautee the tomatoes and puree and then add herbs, garlic, salt and pepper.

Finally mix the noodles and sauce together and plate with an equal amount of spaghetti in each plate 

While I was preparing the meals , a maid snuck up to me and tried to taste the the leftovers

I let her have them and after tasting it her eyes sparkled and she took the whole pot with her to share with the others

Scarlet, Henry and Lillian seemed to enjoy the meal I prepared

"Why can it cook such delicious meals, this outperforms every cooking artifact ever unearthed" said Lillian 

"I can't believe food like this existed, how much have I been missing out"

"Scarlet, as long as you are my disciple, please cook for me and maybe teach the maids how to cook this"

And that's how my first day in this mansion ended.
