Opening my eyes the first thing I saw was a bright screen that disappeared immediately after I finished reading it. I found myself staring into the void as I remembered what happened before I passed out, and just remembering caused me pain. What distracted me from my thoughts was the sound of the door opening to let a middle-aged woman in, who, seeing me with the eyes open, stopped for a moment in amazement, but immediately recovered.

"So you woke up, you’ve been asleep for a month now." Seeing that I didn’t give a sign to answer, she kept talking. "Do you want a glass of water?" However I did not answer but I asked a question. "Where am I?" "This will be your home until you’re of age." "You haven’t answered my question." After a short laugh she started talking again. "Before answering you, you can tell me what mana and dungeons are." The information that came from the Registers told me that what I would say was wrong, but I decided to answer what my parents taught me. "Mana allows us to develop superhuman abilities, dungeons are sub-dimensions formed by the union of large amounts of mana within which monsters inhabit." "Great answer." After a few seconds she started talking again. "This is an orphanage for children who know mana and dungeons, the reason you’re here should be able to figure it out for yourself." I nodded to his words and asked if she could leave me alone to reflect. Left alone, I felt powerless over everything that had happened. Staring into the void, I thought about how weak I was when my parents were killed. I thought about how much strength I should have to survive the dungeons and those who wanted to kill my family and therefore me too, so checking all the information I had obtained from the Registers I thought of a plan to strengthen me.
