"Welcome! Oh you two look new, what do you want to eat?"

 

When Naruto and Hinata entered the stall they were greeted by a cheerful older girl asking them what they would have. This surprised both Hinata and Naruto, Hinata because she is shy, and Naruto because the older girl didn't seem to know him.

 

"U-umm… I'll take miso ramen, what about you Naruto-kun?"(Hinata)

 

"... Uh… I'll take the same then"(Naruto)

 

Still not sure, Naruto decided to pick the same as Hinata. The older girl doesn't seem to know him from how she acts so friendly towards him. But he's not sure about the older man in the back. He hasn't seen him, so Naruto doesn't know what he will do when he sees him.

 

"Alright! Father, two miso ramen!"

 

As the older girl told their order to the old man who apparently is her father. Both Naruto and Hinata take a seat.

 

"So I'm Ayame, that's my father Teuchi, what's your name?"(Ayame)

 

"I'm Hinata, Hyuuga Hinata"(Hinata)

 

"I'm Uzumaki Naruto"(Naruto)

 

"So you're Hinata-chan and Naruto-kun, do you live around here?"(Ayame)

 

"Yes, I live in the shinobi district near the Hyuuga compound"(Hinata)

 

"Eh? Hinata, you don't live in the Hyuuga compound?"(Naruto)

 

Hearing that Hinata doesn't live in the Hyuuga compound, Naruto was surprised.

 

"U-umm, I live with my aunt's friend in the shinobi district"(Hinata)

 

Naruto could feel sadness from Hinata though the girl doesn't show it as much.

 

"I guess that's the reason she is not like the other hyuugas. Though it is interesting that they didn't put that cursed seal on her if that was true. Well we should take it as a good thing"(Kurama)

 

Kurama speaks in Naruto's mind, she didn't mention to Naruto to get close to her, Naruto would have done it without her needing to tell him each time.

 

"Cursed seal?"(Naruto)

 

"Ah… there is a tradition in the Hyuuga to put a seal on the forehead of the clan members other than the main family. The seal is originally put to protect the hyuuga from those who want their power, but the main family at some point become greedy and put an additional seal on it that would hurt the one with the seal when activated and could even kill them at will, turning the seal into a tool to enslave their own clan members. Truly a sad thing as their cousin, the Uzumaki was a peace loving clan till the end."(Kurama)

 

"Do you mean that Hinata is from the main family?"(Naruto)

 

"Yes, but that is interesting because why would they give a child from the main family to outsiders, and why didn't they put the seal on her. From yesterday when those children bullied her, demanding that she show the byakugan but she didn't show them, she might not be able to use it. Or that someone sealed it to protect her, and she was thrown away from the clan for the same reason"(Kurama)

 

"But, when I look into her eyes, her eyes look different from normal, doesn't that mean she has it?"(Naruto)

 

"Yes, she have it so it was probably the second reason, well we don't have to hurry, we'll find out in time"(Kurama)

 

"Yeah"(Naruto)

 

Naruto said with a pout, still couldn't believe how a family can do such cruel things to each other. Kurama smiled inside Naruto's mindscape.

 

"That's why you shouldn't be like them alright?"(Kurama)

 

"Of course!"(Naruto)

 

"Naruto-kun?"(Hinata)

 

Looking at Naruto acting weird Hinata asked him.

 

"Ah, sorry, I'm just wondering how it feels like to live with a family"(Naruto)

 

"Naruto-kun?"(Hinata)

 

"I heard my parents died in the kyuubi attack six years ago, and people afraid of me because of how I look so I was wondering how it feels to have a real family"(Naruto)

 

"...I'm sorry"(Hinata)

 

"It's alright, I have them now so I'm not that lonely"(Naruto)

 

Naruto patted Niko's head as he said to Hinata who felt sorry for him.

 

"Ahh… did I ruin the mood?"(Ayame)

 

Ayame, who thinks she ruined the mood, feels awkward. She wouldn't think that that simple question would turn out like this.

 

"Hmhm, it's fine"(Hinata)

 

"Yeah, don't mind it"(Naruto)

 

Hinata and Naruto told the older girl before the atmosphere gets more awkward, and the old man comes out from the back, signaling that their orders are done.

 

"Two miso ramen complete! Please just ignore my daughter, she is to excitable sometimes"(Teuchi)

 

The two just nodded silently and started eating. Hinata was raised in a noble family so she has good etiquette, while Kurama has been teaching Naruto proper etiquette so they both eat slowly and in silence, enjoying their food. Naruto was glad that the owner didn't throw him away, it looks like the shop owner doesn't care who he is, so Naruto feels more at ease knowing he wouldn't get thrown away suddenly when the owner recognizes him.

 

"Thank you very much, come eat here again~!"(Ayame)

 

By the time they're done eating the sky was already dark. The clerk girl, Ayame, was back to being cheerful again when they left.

 

"Thank you Hinata, I don't think I would have gone there without you. The food was delicious and the owner doesn't care who I am, maybe I'll eat there again sometime."(Naruto)

 

"I-I just want to help you as thanks for yesterday. Y-yesterday you said my eyes are beautiful right?... That's why I want to try and be more confident. Though if they really was one of the people who hate you, I don't know what to do''(Hinata)

 

"Ahaha… well I guess at that time let's just run away"(Naruto)

At that time Naruto could feel someone getting close, Naruto could feel their worry so he knows it's not someone bad, most likely.

 

"Hinata!"

 

A woman's voice calling for Hinata was heard from ahead. They looked ahead and saw a woman jogginging towards them. The woman has long straight black hair and have white eyes the same as Hinata, she wears a shinobi outfit.

 

"Aunt Hana"(Hinata)

 

"Oh Hinata you're alright? You don't usually this late so me and Kurenai was worried"(Hana)

 

The woman speaks to Hinata, you can see her worries just by looking at her face.

 

 

"I'm sorry, I was eating with my friend there until just now"(Hinata)

 

"Is that so? Well I'm glad if you're alright. And who is this friend of yours?"(Hana)

 

She let out a breath of relief knowing Hinata was fine before facing him with a smile.

 

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki…"(Naruto)

 

Naruto was tense, even though she was nice, she could change the moment she notices who he was. She is a full fledged shinobi and has a byakugan, one of the few things that could potentially find him while invisible.

 

"!... Oh so you are… well nice to meet you Naruto-kun, I'm Hana, Hinata's aunt. Thank you for looking after her"(Hana)

 

"... Ah yes…"(Naruto)

 

Naruto wasn't sure what to say. The moment she heard his name she was surprised, then it turned into sadness and relief. Naruto could guess that she knows him, or most likely she knew his parents from how she reacted. But Naruto was glad that she was, if by chance she is one of those who didn't like him, he doesn't know if it would end well.

 

"Well then Hinata, Naruto-kun, it's already getting dark and Kurenai is really worried about you so we should bet back soon"(Hana)

 

"...yes"(Hinata)

 

Looking at Hinata feeling guilty, but still looking sad to have to go home, Hana smiled as she ruffled Hinata's hair.

 

"Well Hinata lives just around the corner, the Yuuhi family house, come over to play sometimes. Now Hinata, let's go home before kurenai become more worried"(Hana)

 

"Yes, goodnight Naruto-kun"(Hinata)

 

"Yeah, see you"(Naruto)

 

Hinata goes with Hana and Naruto walks back to his apartment.

 

Arriving at the apartment Naruto makes some food for the foxes before going to sleep. From outside he was sleeping soundly, but Naruto was visiting his mindscape. Sitting on his mothers lap Naruto asked her

 

"Mom, you told me about the descendants of Kaguya last night right? Does that mean all of her descendants are here in Konoha?"(Naruto)

 

"Hmm… not all of them, the Senju are almost gone, and the Uzumaki have lost their home, there must be some survivors but no news of them as far as I know. The only two left are Hyuuga and Uchiha. Ah Senju are Asyura's descendants while Uchiha are Indra's. Though sadly both the Uchiha and Hyuuga have been corrupted too from what I know, there might be some that are like Hinata, but most of them have become arrogant of their own power."(Kurama)

 

"Does that mean I shouldn't get close to them?"(Naruto)

 

Kurama shakes her head.

 

"No, it means you have to be careful in choosing your friend, and if possible I want you to have some Uchiha friend, to help you in care another Uchiha are after you"(Kurama)

 

"Why is that?"(Naruto)

 

"Similar to byakugan, Uchiha have the sharingan, though unlike the byakugan that is said to be all seeing eyes, sharingan are the eye of power. With these eyes they could awaken a unique power, that's why in order to fight these unique powers another unique power is needed."(Kurama)

 

Kurama hasn't told Naruto about Madara and the masked Uchiha who attacked them 6 years ago. She doesn't want him to come to hate what he doesn't know right now. Though he will tell the story to Naruto once he knows the Uchiha by himself.

 

"Then are there others like me… Akudou?"(Naruto)

 

"Hmm… there are some, but in Konoha I only know of one, you could say they're a cousin of yours. Long time ago a human woman asked me to give her blessing so that she can live peacefully. I give her the blessing of illusion, just like you, though not the complete form. She live a happy live, build her own family, and named them after me, the Kurama clan"(Kurama)

 

"But I was young at that time and didn't know the limits of the human body, so my blessings turned into a bit of a curse, her descendant who inherited my blessing doesn't have the power to control it, they become mad as their mind can't stand my power. Luckily for them only a select few were born with the full power of my blessing, so I helped them. If those with that power were born, they would come to ask for my blessing, to stop them from becoming mad. But that was when I was still free, I haven't heard anything about them since I was sealed, they should be around though because I haven't heard anything about them being destroyed."(Kurama)

 

"should we look for them?"(Naruto)

 

"Sure, if they have someone with full power it would be a good chance to help and get closer to them again"(Kurama)

 

"What are the other Akudou like?"(Naruto)

 

"Well now they are called kekkei genkai, but those who were once known as Akudou… there is the Houzuki clan who can turn their body into liquid for example"(Kurama)

 

"Oh yeah, there is the first Hokage's granddaughter, Tsunade, she is your niece, even though she is far older than you. Let's put our first goal on finding her alright?"(Kurama)

 

"Why? And why is she my niece? Isn't she older than me if she is the first Hokage's granddaughter?"(Naruto)

 

"Well that is because her mother was born with my chakra, so she is my granddaughter, and as the daughter of yur older sister, you should try and look after each other"(Kurama)

 

"Now it's already late, tomorrow let's find a place to make another hideout near this area. We can't be careless afterall"(Kurama)

 

"Yes mother, goodnight"(Naruto)

 

"Goodnight"(Kurama)

 

After Kurama gives Naruto a kiss to his forehead, Naruto leaves his mindscape and goes to sleep. Tomorrow, he needs to sneak out and find a good place to set the second hideout. The hate from those villagers are uncomfortable and they might try something if this continues, so before anything happens they need a safe place to hide when needed. The closest to his apartment is behind the hyuuga compound but he can't do that because of byakugan, if he put it there, there's high probability that they would find it even by accident, so he needs to find another more safer place, either towards the hokage monument, or towards the outside of the village near the Uchiha compound.

 

Though the answer probably is obvious, he can't risk setting his hideout near the hokage monument with high traffic of shinobi entering and exiting the area. While near the Uchiha compound no one should be keeping too much surveillance or else they anger the Uchiha. And unlike byakugan, sharingan couldn't see through things so he has a better chance there than any other place right now.
