Everything that happened was beyond whatever Alexander could believe.
He has comprehension on sci-fi and mysticism but for it to truly take effect on him was disorientingly confounding.
He rationalized everything as an illusory dream but the successive headaches on his body were more conducive than any wake-up pinch could achieve.
Alexander could feel his tiny body lodge to the bed. It was now smaller and much more energetic than the 47-year-old one.
This was the same room he always had but he remembered renovating and tweaking the place a couple of times throughout the years.
He remembered his previous 'loss phase' and how bland the room was when he first moved in.
As of now, aside from the gifted computer and the bed, the place was loitered with coloring materials and papers which meant he was at his 'art phase'.
As he delved deeper into his dad's computer, he got into the 'programming phase'. The room would be stocked with computer games, hardwares, and papers with simple codes for him to tinker with. This phase would kickstart his malfunction program collection.
By the 'hormone phase', the computer stuff had to converge a bit and for the room to be sophisticated enough to impress the dates he had the honor of taking home.
When his grandfather left the world, it should have been considered as the longest 'dust phase'. He hadn't cared much for the room as he had to deal with all the will matters and higher education.
The final phase of this room was the 'empty phase' as he opted to use CREED as his hangout and this suburban home was just another property that added to his taxes all the while never opting to sell.
------
"What a mess." He muttered as the freshness of this room's memories came to him with ease.
His death instinct practically triggered twice and the memorable moments on his timeline of life were replayed and ingrained to him twice already.
Alexander didn't know if this was a plug-in from the reward, a side effect of chaos, his brain leveling up from being overfrightened, an acquirement from being a questioning 'blank', or a temporary thing that would fade with time.
What he did know for sure was that he had near-omnipotent hindsight to his memories. He didn't feel smarter but felt like he had an Alexander encyclopedia to bolster his smartness level.
"My IQ is the least of my considerations right now." Alexander rubbed his still slightly aching temples and assessed what state he is in.
------
All in all, he was him in 1984 and somewhat specifically became this way on his 9th birthday.
Maybe chaos and the superior entity behind the turn of events has a thing with the number 9 but he couldn't be too sure.
Shouldn't it be 7? Like seven days a week, lucky number 7 in slot machines, seven heavens, seven hells, seven gates, 7 colors in the rainbow, 7 is the major favorite of the world' population, 007 is James Bond, Snow White has seven dwarves, 7 notes in the musical scale, Shakespeare's seven ages of man, seven seas, and seven continents.
Well, there are a lot of signifiances in the number 9 as well... so who knows.
Anyways, fixating on 7 and 9 felt off... but then he remembered the means of the chaos monsters. It was summoned through programs and emerged from the computer.
He scoured through his hypered memories and due to the lack of what was technologically abundant in the future, today was technically the very day that he touched a functional and versatile computer.

Alexander eyed his father's prized computer and found it much more reasonable than the specialty of 9. The chaos monster must have used this as its medium of transfer and he could have inserted himself into a much younger self if he had fiddled with computers at a much earlier time.
The very computer that fated him to embark on the journey through the mysteries of code and malfunctions is also the very medium that the programmatic entity chose to start the reward.
Alexander was now a chaos butterfly that alludes to the popularized butterfly effect and a close recipient of the chaos theory.
A single flap of a butterfly in Peking can make Central Park rain instead of breezy sunshine.
The mention about the Greater System and his discovery of what lies beyond all the faults of coding had more or less cleared him up on things.
If the Greater System holds the program of the world and its successive timeline, the eradication and renewal of what he knows 38 years from now is true as the message declared it to be.
He was now a kid whose simple enlightenment of what his future life held had already broken his premediated fate and got a new one where he could gain a better advantage.
The act of him lying down on the bed and not admiring the heirloom of his deceased father has already sent tumbles through the world.
He became the chaos butterfly that is flapping his decisions and tornadoing up the history of the future.
There may have been other butterflies before him but may have been neutralized by natural order. Gaining the achievement of 'Chaos Butterfly' meant that his mess is acceptable to the natural order.
Him knowing what was the best and the worst that the world of tomorrow can offer had already given him a golden finger that no one else could imagine.
He was also told that the malfunction mixing method couldn't be used again which meant that it was an advantage exclusive to him.
Re-life seems all the more to look forward to.
Alexander felt himself being on top of the world and having an ego boost. Still, he had 47 years of experience to know that he had to stop himself as being a chaos butterfly wouldn't be as smooth-sailing as it should be.
He had a newer outlook in life and knows what to choose and what not to but everything else isn't yet predetermined.
This new life would more or less be the same as how other people live life, not knowing what comes his way and facing it head-on.
His memories tell him that he wouldn't die even as he reached 47 but this reward may have a tricky caveat in which he is set to die within the week.
If there is one lesson that Final Destination movies, The Laughing Salesman, and all those mega-advantage flicks had given him, then it would be that everything had a price.
He had literally altered the entire future as that entity's message had told him. It would be foolish to think that all those stories and lives in that timeline wouldn't try and get back at him.
Karma was also a part of order and Alexander was sure that the deleted storylines would try to haunt him.
"It seems that chaos butterfly, karmas, bloated ego, plagiarism, correcting regrets, and all the re-life nonsense is what I'll be dealing with from now on." Alexander pretty much summed up his situation with that and he could only sigh.
Knowing the phases of the room seems irrelevant now as he still has newer phases to see through as he is now in his re-life as a chaos butterfly.
