"You did it, Torque."

Almark called out from the stands to Torque as he returned from the match.

"I can't believe you actually used the same tactics you used in that fight."

Torque must have switched to a different style of fighting because of the unique style of Ficke.

But Torque, wiping sweat from his face, frowned, as if he were not happy.

"I'm sorry,. I've had a tough fight."

With these words, he returned to Galein and the others.

"Ficke had always had an odd way of fighting,"

Nelson said.

"He never jumped up and down like that."

"It was more like a torque strategy,"

 Almark nodded.

"He didn't really stand in front of Torque, but used his speed and jumps to distract him."

"That was Ein's trick."

"He's going to try a lot more tricks."

Almark looked at the support section on the first group' s side.

Ein was leaning forward, giving some instructions to the next competitor.

"They're a pain in the ass .hey should fight with dignity.

"Well, you know, fighting is all about strategy. It's not that they are cowards. Torque still won."

 Torque stil got

Almark was soothing Nelson, while Garain was slowly making his way onto the arena.

"Galain !!!!"

Norisch and the others shouted from the cheering section. Surprisingly, even the quiet Liltie's voice can be heard.

The girls cheering for the win must be in high spirits.

Now it's time for the next match . Let's cheer on as well.

"Oh, yeah.Galain ! Keep it up!"

Galain raises his hand lightly to Almark and the others with his usual wry smile.

"Oh, you look nervous."

I think that expression of Galein's that doesn't change is quite a burden for the other side.

The other side, like Ficke, is a slender boy.

The first group is always showing up with thin guys,"

 Raido said.

"I guess so. The comparison is the same as before."

 Nelson's words convinced Almark.

Indeed, the sight of the large Garain facing slender opponent was not so different from the match between Torque and Ficke earlier .

"What kind of guy is he?"

"Well, I've never been in the same class as him. ".

“I was "

 Leila answered from behind.

"We were in the same class last year, but he wasn't particularly good at martial arts."

"I see. Well, I guess Galein will win then."

Leila nodded her head at Nelson's words.

"But he must have plan , since he's the second person "

"He can't win."

While they were talking, the names of Garain and Larps in the center of the arena were introduced, and they put their sword tips together.

"Begin!"

Bowen's shout to start the match.

With that voice, Garain quickly closed the gap between them.

Suddenly, he launches a heavy strike at Laaps.

Laaps managed to catch it in a slumped position, but Gallein continued to launch a series of strikes.

Although not as powerful as torque, it was still a series of heavy attacks that pushed Laaps over the edge.

On the other hand, although Larps managed to get through, he could have been hit in the torso at any moment.

"Good one, Garain!"

 Nelson shouted.

"Keep going!"

As if encouraged by these words, Garain does not slow down his attack.

The body of Larps was shaken to the left and right by Gallein's powerful attack, and he fell back without any effort.

The audience cheered for Galain's bold rush.

"Come on, Garain!"

the girls in the cheering section shouted

 Galain's attack continued.

The dull sound of swords clashing echoes through the martial arts arena.

The spectators seem to find it a little strange that Garain continues to attack with such force without changing his expression. A stirring noise was heard.

On the other hand, Larps is so busy defending himself that it seems he has not attacked even once so far. Although he only avoids the decisive blow, a few close blows graze his armor.

Garain lets out a harsh breath.

He opens his mouth wide as he strikes.

Almark, who was watching the situation, was suddenly hit by a bad feeling.

He looks at Ein in the cheering section of the first group.

Ein is staring at the match with a thin smile on his face.

(Ah, this is just as he expected, after all.)

 Almark thought.

(If that's the case, it's not good.)

"Garain, decide it!"

 Almark shouted.

"It's not too late. Keep up the pressure and push."

"Don't let him get away!"

It was too late. There was no room to retreat.

Hearing his voice, Ein looked at Almark.

Ein's eyes were smiling. Ein's eyes are smiling. He looked as if he wanted to tell so.

Gallein is attacking hard even without Almark's advice.

Laaps takes it without any reliance.

 Dodge. .

 And again.

No matter how many times Galein attacks, he dodges.

Takes it. .

 He doesn't get hit.

"He looks like he's not very skillful."

Nelson finally noticed something strange and raised his voice.

"Isn't he just really good at defending himself?"

 Almark nodded.

"I'm sure he's been practicing specifically for that, just like Ficke. "

"What?"

"It's a plan against Gallein."

As Almark said, Gallein's movements became noticeably slower.

He had seen that he was an easy opponent and had continued to attack with all his might, and now the cost of that had started to come out.

He was being targeted for his lack of endurance.

"That's why he' s getting out of shape so fast!:

 Nelson scratched his head.

"You mean they were looking for the long fight from the start?"

 Almark nodded at Nelson's words.

Even if he had stopped Galein when he found out, it would have been too late for him to do anything about it when he was already that worn out.

He thought that it was more likely that he would be able to use his momentum to push through, but Larps' good defense was better than he had expected.

Torque and Nelson would have been able to break through, but Garain's skill was a little lacking.

'Is it because larps have more physical strength? But with Ficke earlier, do you get an opponent who is that just right for you?"

 Almark looked at Ein.

"But if that's what happened, then that means..."

"You mean that Ein's guy was expecting a turn of people ?"

 Almark nodded.

Each of them has some idea of who is going to be in the match with his own group. However, to read not only who would appear, but also the entire order, is not an easy task, and the risk of missing the prediction is also great.

But even so, Ein may have done it.

Almark had a feeling that he did.

"He might have done it," Almark said.

Nelson looked at Ein and frowned.

 At that moment, Ein shouted.

"Larps!"

As if that voice was a signal, LARPS went on the attack for the first time.

He couldn't decide.

Garain was already completely out of breath.

The attack of Larps was as weak as when he was defending himself, but he accurately aimed at Galein's torso. He still had plenty of energy left in him.

"Garain!"

Torque shouted for the first time in the match.

"This is the moment of truth, "

Galein nodded with a sweaty face and pulled his chin up.

His eyes were not dead yet.

Now it was just a battle of wills.

Galein blocks Larps' powerless attack.

Two or three times.

But this time, Laaps' attack does not stop.

Although awkwardly, he strikes in rapid succession, trying to decide the match here.

"Yes, decide it right here, larps! Don't let him rest!"

Ein shouts.

Gallein's legs tangle under the attack.

"Gallein!"

 Torque shouts again.

Hearing his voice, Galein remembers.

Yesterday, Torque, Deg and he made a secret promise to each other.

When times are hard, don't be on the defensive, but attack.

 Galein stayed his ground.

"Aaah!"

With a spirited attack, he unleashes a full-throated punch.

"Good!"

 Almark shouted out unintentionally.

It was such a good punch with a good backbone.

But before he could finish the strike, his foot tangled again.

The path of the push was off course.

The sword of Larps, which dodged just in time, struck Garain in the torso.

"Enough !"

 Bowen's voice echoed.

Larps raised his arm, and Galein looked up to the sky.

 The audience applauded loudly.

......" can't help it. Gallein did his best."

 Nelson applauded.

"He did a good job with that last push".

 Almark nodded, applauding as well.

 This is not a battlefield.

Losing doesn't mean that he has lost anything.

"It's okay," It's still one win and one loss, and next up is Wendy."

Wendy walks up and gently touches Garain's shoulder as he nods and pulls up.

"It was close, Garain."

Galein was breathing heavily and looked down.

"I'm sorry, Wendy. I'm no good. I didn't get any hits, and I ran out of stamina halfway through the fight".

Wendy shook her head gently. She pointed behind him.

"Look," she said.

Gallein turned around, dripping with sweat.

Wendy's finger was pointing to the cheering section of the 1st group, where a smiling Larps was greeted by Ein and the others, dripping with sweat that seemed to run down his entire body.

'...... not that much sweat until ...... a few moments ago.'

Garain muttered in surprise and looked at Wendy.

'You were moving around so energetically the whole time.'

“I'm sure you've been attacking him like that for a long time. He was struggling too, you know."

 Wendy said calmly.

The winner is the one who wins, . You should be proud of yourself for the amount of sweat he worked up, Garain.

And then, with a snap, she tightened her expression.

From the gentle face of a loving angel to the face of a fighter so beautiful and brave that GALLEIN could not help but admire it.

'Watch me. I'm going to win for you."
