Morgen and others had hoped that Torque's attitude would change drastically the next day, but there was no noticeable change in Torque's attitude the next day and even after that.

　He was as arrogant and abusive as ever.

　However, since that day, he has never used the words "commoner" or "savage."

　Almark thought that he was keeping his word, putting his pride on the line.

But then again, Wallis has always been kind to everyone (except Almark), and Leila never tried to be friendly with anyone, noble or commoner. Wendy, on the other hand, is by friendly with everyone.

　The atmosphere of the class has not changed much, just that Torque has become a little quieter.

　Almark once mentioned this to Wendy, but she shook her head.

Wendy said .

That being said, Nelson would occasionally respond to Torque's rants with, "Shut up, Torque."

Torque's two followers, Galein and Deg, could also be seen talking to someone other than Torque from time to time.

　Almark replied.

If Wendy is happy, he don't have anything to complain about.

The thing that is currently bothering  him   is magic.

It had already been more than a month since Almark entered the academy.

During the lesson , he is still the one person who is jusr  meditates.

Almirck learned things that were easy enough to memorize, such as the names of historical figures and the names and combinations of plants used in healing magic, at a speed that even his classmates were surprised at.

However, when it came to magic training, Almark was far behind not only his classmates but also the second-year students of the elementary class.

Almark himself even wanted to join the first-year students in meditation practice during the magic practice lessons.

"Liltie, what's the matter?"

When Almark called out to her, Lilti stopped with a jump, but immediately showed a relieved look on her face.

"Oh, Almark," she said.

"What do you need in the school building this late at night?"

'...... not the school building."

"Not in the school building? Because there' s nothing else beyond this point."

Other than the elementary class building, there is nothing but forest. The middle and high class buildings and dorms are in the other direction, and it''s not as if she has any business there.

Liltie said with a frim look on her face.

"In the forest."
