Chapter 780: An Intense Battle and the Escape

Roly Poly heaved a sigh of relief after seeing Sphynx cat slam Sang Biao to the ground with just a paw. “Sphynx cat! You came just in time!” He pointed at Sang Biao and shouted, “He swallowed a whole bunch of cats into his body. Save them quickly!”

“Okay,” Sphynx cat nodded and glanced coldly at Sang Biao. Although he slammed his head into the ground, Sang Biao’s body continued to writhe and wriggle. One by one his tentacles extended, creating illusions of thousands of tentacles that split the air where they passed. The sound of the air exploding reverberated thunderously as the tentacles lashed out at Sphynx cat.

“You’re still pulling these tricks?” Sphynx cat scoffed and struck out his paw. With that, he unleashed a majestic force that distorted and molded the air around them and resulted in a deafening explosion. White smoke visible to the naked eye burst out from his claws, tearing apart more than 10 tentacles at once.

Sang Biao cried out in pain, stunned by his abilities as he thought to himself, “This Cat Wonderland actually has such a strong and powerful cat?” He roared like mad dog, “I’m going to tear you apart!”

Sphynx cat scoffed again, “Let’s see who’s the one being teared up!”

Sphynx cat landed on Sang Biao’s body. After tearing the tentacles apart, Sphynx cat immediately stood upright. Starting from Sang Biao’s head, he walked straight ahead. His footsteps left a trail of illusions as he advanced forward. With every step he took, he stomped on Sang Biao’s body which continuously exploded. Chunks of flesh and blood sprayed outwards as his bones exploded under the crushing impact of Sphynx cat’s footsteps.

The power Sphynx cat exerted in every step he took was perfect. Not only did he burst Sang Biao’s flesh and blood but every time he stepped on him, the force exerted on Sang Biao’s body went right into the core of his bones. Every supercat that was trapped in Sang Biao’s body was expelled together with his chunks of flesh and blood. This sent them flying into the main hall that was dozens of meters away. Sphynx cat even caught Lion Head by the tail and threw her out of Sang Biao’s body.

Roar!

Sang Biao let out a deafening roar after suffering such a sudden, defeating blow. The organs in his body were transformed at once and emitted bolts of electricity that immediately electrocuted Sphynx cat.

How fast was the speed of the electricity? It would be impossible even for Sphynx cat to avoid it. All the nerves in his body were numbed upon electrocution. Right in that instant, Sang Biao whipped his giant tail and slammed it right at Sphynx cat and sent him flying out like a baseball. Sphynx cat crashed into the wall in the main hall with a deafening explosion as huge, web-like cracks appeared almost immediately upon impact.

Sang Biao roared in rage as the chunks of exploded flesh and blood slowly shrank and collected back on his body. Sharp bone spurs protruded from his back one by one. They flashed with bolts of electricity as an electric current was transmitted between the bone spurs.

“Guys, go save the cats first! Bring the service cats to safety! Leave this guy to me and Sphynx cat.” Roly Poly commanded his subordinate cats to bring away the supercats that Sphynx cat had saved while keeping a close eye on the chameleon-like Sang Biao whose body continued to transform into different powers. Roly Poly was trying his best to figure out Sang Biao and thus a strategic counterattack to his powers.

“This guy can actually change into different forms? These chunks of flesh and blood are just like plasticine.”

Roly Poly frowned deeply as he gradually went into invisibility mode. He was trying to guess Sang Biao’s ability. “First, it was the tentacles. After that, it was the electric insulation on his skin. Now it became electric bone spurs. Does this mean that this guy’s ability is continuous physical evolution to adapt to different kinds of battles?”

Sang Biao no longer cared about the supercats that had been taken away to safety. His prime target was now Sphynx cat whom he eyed viciously as he roared in rage again, “Stop feigning death. The amount of strength I exerted just now will not kill you! Get on your feet right now to fight!”

As he said that, the electric bone spurs on Sang Biao’s back fired up with greater intensity. It was as if bolts of electricity were transmitted across the void, illuminating his sinister aura.

Bang! Sphynx cat dusted off the cement and bricks on his body as he got back on his feet. He cracked his neck as he stared at Sang Biao in front of him and said, “Brilliant. If you can still survive after being struck by 10% of my strength, your ability should be among the top 100 supercats across the universe.”

“Arrogant fool.” Sang Biao let out a low growl as a few more bone spurs emerged on his back and radiated with electric waves. “So what if you have immense physical strength? The strongest ability is one that can continuously evolve and adapt to this world, to the universe. That is truly the strongest ability.”

As he said that, he growled with rage as bolts of electricity struck his own body. Sang Biao was instantly covered in a flash of white light from the electricity surrounding his body as he howled madly like a Lightning God.

The next moment, the trail of his shadows followed behind him as he blazed towards Sphynx cat like a bullet train.

Sphynx cat became serious as his body entered into speed reaction mode in that instant. His feet lightly tapped the ground as he moved, causing a huge part of it to collapse. It was as if he had teleported to the side of Sang Biao’s body who was at the same time charging towards him at full speed.

Sphynx cat threw a punch aimed at Sang Biao’s body but he immediately felt an intense, sharp pain zap his whole body. He could even feel the burning sensation in his eyeballs.

“His electric current is too strong. It wouldn’t make sense to fight him head-on…” Sphynx cat paused ever so slightly. His rich experience from countless battles and quick-witted mind allowed him to think critically and decide on battle strategies, even in speed reaction mode.

In that split second, he had already retreated more than 100 meters. He watched as Sang Biao slammed into where he had been right, blasting the wall apart and creating a depression in the ground.

Sang Biao whipped around and slammed right through a stone pillar as he charged towards Sphynx cat again.

Both big and small cats blasted their way across the main hall of the Cat Wonderland. Where they passed, large chunks of debris littered their trail.

Sang Biao cackled madly, “Run! Continue running! Do you think you can run away?”

“Idiot.” Sphynx cat scoffed and rolled his eyes before he dodged another blow from his opponent. He suddenly stopped on the spot and stamped with all his might on the floor.

Bam! It was as if countless explosives were ignited at that moment, blasting open the floor of the main hall as it collapsed all the way down to the second basement.

Sang Biao skidded to a stop as he dropped down with the rubble. He was shocked as he realised, “This guy had been trying to wreck the floor all along? Just for this one blow? But so what if I fell down, I…”

Bam! A huge block of cement flew towards him like a meteorite. With the additional force exerted by Sphynx cat, the huge block of cement slammed hard into Sang Biao’s back, crushing more than 10 bone spurs at once as blood and flesh splattered all over the floor and walls.

Sang Biao looked up and saw Sphynx cat standing at the edge of the collapsed floor with all sorts of bricks, cement, and steel columns around him.

Sang Biao immediately came to his senses as he realized what it was all about. “This guy was trying to target me as I was falling and kill me with long-range attacks…”

The next moment, a storm of attacks assaulted Sang Biao as Sphynx cat sent out steel columns and cement with every blow, making them rain on Sang Biao like meteor showers. In that instant, Sang Biao exploded into chunks of flesh and blood in midair as he let out gut-wrenching screams of pain and agony.

As the smoke and dust subsided, the floor of the second basement level looked just like the surface of the Earth. The cement floor had been smashed into a bumpy surface covered with potholes. In the center of the floor lay a blurred mess of bloody flesh. It looked just like minced pork on a chopping board. There was even more bloody flesh that was scattered around the whole floor.

“Is he dead?”

Just as Sphynx cat thought so, the chunks of flesh and blood suddenly wriggled out in all directions to escape. In the blink of an eye, the chunks of flesh and blood had already slipped into all sorts of cracks, holes, and sewers.
