"You are coming out or I should drag you out?"

In an abandoned alley just in the city where not many people wander, Kaito stopped and turned back.

A girl with lustrous violet hair with a triangular fringe just to the tip of her nose. She has sharp blue eyes which is quite unusual in real life. She is quite tall for a Japanese, and has long limbs very suitable for her wooden sword in her back.

And all of this makes her a very beautiful sexy fighter which is very helpful during the times of apocalypse.

And how does Kaito knows her? Because he watched this damned anime.

'Saeko Busujima.'

In anime, because of her being a very powerful fighter, the protagonist and his group of team came out of crisis many times.

'Should I invite her in my team?'

Kaito was considering whether he should bring her into his party or not.

He who was the most calm minded naturally knew that his future journey is going to no road of roses.

This is only the first floor. And it is a freaking zombie apocalypse.

Thinking of other players, many of them might quit it but he knows the ones who will continue to climb the tower will get whatever they want. And it's not a exaggeration.

So in his future endeavours, he needs comrades. It may be players or the inhabitants inside the floor like Saeko. He isn't sure but if it works then it's a jackpot.

But his thinking was interrupted by the sudden sword blow coming towards him. Instinctively, he took out his Yamato which was in scabbard and blocked it.

"You... From where you took it out?"

Saeko looked Kaito which a shock. While following him, she already saw him without any sword. Then how could he take a sword out of nowhere?

Kaito didn't said anything and with his strength fended the attack. Then he swinged directly towards her head. Saeko took a step back and blocked it. 

'Heavy!'

But then she countered by thrusting her wooden sword straight into his gut. Kaito was indeed thrown off but his God level impulse worked this time.

A sudden jolt ran all over through his body and he quickly reacted. He moved five steps back and lowered his sword.

And he also just like Saeko diagonally thrusted his sword towards Saeko's stomach.

As soon Saeko's sword was about to hit his face because he was lowered, he moved his head and dodged it by a hair's breadth.

And Saeko who was surprised with the sudden movement, couldn't counter and the sword with scabbard got hit on her stomach.

To reduce damage she took a step back but still the hit was successful. She shrieked a bit in damage but still stood up and looked at him with her one hand on her stomach.

Kaito also stood up with his sword on his shoulder. He looked at her with a bit awe.

'She is indeed a very good swordsman.'

"You are a very good swordsman. But still you're out of my league."

Kaito who intended to end this pointless fight said to his opponent.

But instead of saying anything, Saeko dashed towards him with a feral grin on her face.

'Oh Shit! Wasn't she a sadist who loved fighting?'

With a full of wild instincts, Saeko slashed with her wooden sword. Kaito dodged all of them and blocked several of them.

Kaito was overpowering her but still she was reducing her damage by reducing the recoil and continued fighting.

Blood started to come out of her corner of her mouth but still her swings didn't stopped.

'She is really strong. At least her resilience is strong. Without my breathing I don't think I can stop her. But breathings are solely for killing. That time it was good that nobody died because of blunt object. But with sword...'

This time Kaito took a step up to get near her and started with his attack. But this time instead of fancy attack he did a very normal attack.

A straight slash. But the speed and timing of this attack was very good.

'I can't dodge it. I have to block it.'

Saeko quickly raised her sword above head to block it. And Kaito quickly lowered down and kicked her legs which made her tumble.

'My balance!'

With a broken balance, Saeko fell and Kaito was above her face to face.

"You... Why are you attacking me?"

Saeko looked at his golden eyes that had a bloomed lotus inside it. She was mesmerized but quickly broke it off and replied looking straight.

"Because... You were strong."

Kaito himself knew that with her hunger for battle was reason for her attack. A bit of silence was between them.

'W-What do I say now?'

Kaito was freaking out because he couldn't think of anything to say the girl beneath him. While, Saeko was bit blushing because of the position.

'No choice.'

"Hey, you. Do you want to be my comrade?"

Kaito made up his mind to get his first comrade in his quest of conquering the dungeon.
