In the desolate city swarmed by zombies, where chaos was all over, a figure in a red bike was moving at a very fast speed.

And as he moved from place to place, all that came into sight were the corpses of zombies.

*Chop!* *Slash!*

Kaito swung his katana and killed the zombies that were coming toward him because of the noise.

Because of speed, it was very convenient to kill the zombies.

*Brake!*

"Are you serious?! Aren't there too many zombies?"

Kaito looked at the swarm of zombies packed in the road in front of him. There was not even a place for a person to slip through.

"What should I do?"

Kaito knew he can't kill them with his strength. Though he has the powerful katana - Yamato, he hasn't controlled its spacial ability perfectly to slice off all the zombies.

And with just breathing, it will be difficult to kill all of them. He could run away but his sound also attracted zombies from his back.

"No choice then. It's time to use the last resort."

Kaito opened up the fuel line of the bike and drove it at full speed into the zombie crowd.

And jumped up off it and threw the lighter he has in his pocket.

*Boom!*

Though all zombies didn't die, the road was pretty much clear at this point. But the sound was so large, that zombies could come here again.

But Kaito was ready to retreat from here after cleaning this place.

Kaito disappeared with a water trail behind him, and with a flow of water from his sword, he sliced off all the zombies.

"I have killed many zombies, haven't I? More 800 to go. But first, I have to get that girl."

He sliced into the air and after a second the space was torn. He stepped into the torn space and disappeared as if he was not there from the start.

The school was totally in chaos. The students were screaming in fear as zombies continued to eat them like food.

But there was something abnormal in the group. And that was the existence of one more person in it.

A girl with long waist-length orange-brownish hair with very good body proportions. She has a beautiful rich girl vibe all around her and was a bit scared but didn't show it outside.

She was the only one in casual clothes, unlike all the others who were in school uniforms. And she was in a long black hood hiding her facial features from the rest.

Saeko who was among them looked at her with a suspicious gaze but didn't say anything. To break the tense situation in between, she introduced herself.

"I'm Saeko Busujima from Class 3-A."

The boy who was closing the main gate to cut the zombies from outside turned around and introduced himself.

"I'm Takashi Komuro from Class 2-B."

A girl who seemed to be a bit athletic, turned as she heard Saeko's name.

"Busujima-senpai, I remember you won the National championship last year. I am Rei Miyamoto, a member of the spear martial arts club."

After her, a short and chubby boy continued to introduce himself.

"Oh! I... I'm Kota Hirano from Class B."

"Nice to meet you."

In this tense moment, for a bit it made them feel a bit at ease.

"Why are you guys being all squishy? Why are you being so polite to her, Miyamoto? You just repeated a grade, so you guys are the same age."

After experiencing death being so near to her, the pink-haired girl couldn't understand why in this hellish situation all of them are being so carefree.

"What are you talking about Takagi?"

"Don't make fun of me! I am a genius! If I put my mind, I will never lose to anybody. I am... I am..."

*Swing!*

And just the door was closed by Takagi with a flash opened with a swing of a sword.

"You are just a child unable to face reality. That's all it is."

"Who are you?"

All of them turned back and saw Kaito standing with a katana in his hand. Takagi raised the baseball bat he had in his hand.

"Me? I don't need to introduce myself to you. Saeko! Let's go. I have killed all the zombies outside and near the school's surroundings. Time for us to go."

'Killed all the zombies?!!'

All of them looked outside and what they saw was the corpse of the zombies and their heads all around on the ground.

"Wait! We can't leave the rest of them here. Let's help them."

Saeko said to Kaito. After this apocalypse, she also has a bit of empathy since all of them have gone through the same thing.

'I can't just stick and help these protagonists all the way. I am also trying to live. I can't just help them just because of goodwill. Wait! They is one more person between them. Who is she? Isn't she--'

"Yuuki Asuna. You... What are you doing here?"

Kaito raised his scabbard towards the girl having an orange-haired girl who opened her hood and showed her face to everyone.
