Chapter 4: 04 GOODBYE AND… HELLO?

<POV KUROKA>

Is it our destiny to be slaves?  Why can't I just be free with my little sister?

The world is so unfair.

"Stop little one."  She said again but the girl didn't listen so she used her strength to press her body and stop her.

"W-what do you want."  She said as she trembled but not forgetting to hold on tighter to her little sister in an overprotective way.

"You two are all that's left of the lab, you're all dead, even the head of the Naberius clan is dead, I can feel your power and you obviously killed everyone... house Nebiros will be furious and will hunt you two."

"And what does it have to do with you, I'll handle it."

Taking all her courage, she was able to utter those words with obvious disrespect towards the maou but she didn't know who she was, nor did she care.

"Let's make a deal girl, tell me what happened and I'll take care of your sister, you should know that I can't do it with you since you're the one who killed them but I can..."

Sirzechs has been characterized as someone kind and he tried to help the sisters who, on the other hand, would give him the information he needed about the experiments, since everything had been destroyed by the fire and only the sisters remained as the only evidence to throw a little the power of house Nebiros.

He could no longer get incriminating evidence against since no one would believe what the sisters said.

(NOTE: I did some research and the Naberius clan is a branch of the Nebiros clan which was commissioned to do experiments to obtain a super devil)

"Noo! I'll take care of it, I can take care of my sister and I don't trust you."  Kuroka said interrupting Sirzechs.

After saying that the pressure got stronger.  But the maou sighed and relaxed the pressure.

"Tell me what happened in the lab and everything you know about it, I promise to keep your sister safe. Do you really think you could defend yourself and protect your sister at the same time while running away? From not only the Nebiros clan anymore." that you will be labeled a fugitive you will be wanted by all the demons."

Kuroka was silent not knowing what to answer, besides if this man wanted to do something to her sister with her power he could simply take it away from her and she wouldn't be able to do anything.

She thought about it for a few moments as she looked at her sister with a complicated face.

"Make your decision quickly or more demons will arrive."

"Y-you… okay I'll tell you what I know, but promises me you won't do anything to her."  Kuroka said reluctantly

"I swear."

Kuroka then recounted how little she knew.

"Experiments to increase magic power huh...interesting, but now there is only ashes left. You should leave as soon as possible, you can go anywhere since they are too lazy to come flying and they will teleport directly here."

Kuroka kissed her sister's forehead and whispered goodbye in her ears, then started running.

After running away for a while, I discovered the identity of the person who took my sister.

It was not difficult, crimson hair youthful appearance and great power.  Obviously he is a Gremory and thanks bye they are known to treat his servants very well.

That doesn't say much since it could be a rumor, but without knowing why, it gave her some peace of mind.

Right now I was in a forest far from any big city but close to some small towns, it had big mountains and there was a rumor that a dragon lived deep inside.

She was skeptical that there was a dragon so she went inside to build herself a shelter but she must first find a source of food and water so she was walking towards the river.

In the forest you could hear the birds singing, and the wind moving the leaves of the trees.

Once she got to the river she saw a rabbit and...

"Rowrr" Kuroka's stomach growled.

Wow I'm hungry.

He was going to eat the rabbit but he heard some noises in the bushes, they were very faint but he could hear them and he directed his attention there.

A golden lizard?  No...A Dragon?  Was the story real?  Will her mother be here?  But look at that delicious rabbit, sorry little one the rabbit is mine.

Kuroka ran at full speed and grabbed the rabbit by the neck before the dragon.

<POV Baby Dragon>

huh?  He disappeared?  But how is it possible, I'm faster.

The dragon starts looking for prey from him before remembering that he is a cultivator and starts to feel the energy but hears a cute voice.

"Are you lost Dragon-kun~, oneesan maybe I can help you nya."

The little boy turns his body and becomes attentive.

"Rawr Rawr ar wra arw" (Release my prey, lesser creature) she said or at least tried to say with a veil of superiority.

Poor dragon with her pill her aura is hidden and even with her with her opponent's strength at most she would feel a little tingle before she was alright.

"Aw that's cute, do you want the rabbit, little one? It's okay to hunt it down and then we'll share what you think, since oneesan is hungry too."  Kuroka said as she thought the little dragon was cute.

He looked cute acting almighty.

Shit this increased pride thing is something, I never thought I would say something like "inferior creature" hahaha if I was in my previous world I would already be a public enemy, I would be insulted, mocked, and even sued for discrimination.

Am I in DXD?  Shit no wonder the part of the information that isn't sealed said not to go out until you reach the sky-profound realm at least, this place is very dangerous.

Damn, I knew this place was called the underworld and this wasn't a cultivation universe but I can't relate to it that easily either since most of the information is sealed until I'm stronger.
