However, as soon as he tried to close his eyes a small amount of water fell into his face.

"What do you think you're doing? I can't win against that guy without your help" The dryad looked at him with a perplexed expression on her face as she saw the guy just going to sleep in the middle of the battlefield.

"Oh yeah, I guess I can't rest for now..."

*Gulp*

Aspen rapidly drank a healing potion to recover a bit from his injuries in order to keep fighting. And of course, the Lunatic cultist didn't stand idle during this time.

Five sudden lightning were released from a giant sphere of electricity floating above the Lunatic cultist and tried to strike down Aspen and the dryad, Fortunately, she used her Nature control magic and created a thick shield of that covered both of them at the said time and absorbed most of the impacts.

"Are you ready to fight Human?"

"Uh, yeah... mostly. But if you could manage to protect us for at least a few minutes more so I can heal myself properly, then that it could be excellent..."

"I can't do such a thing"

"Then whatever"

"GET THE HELL OUT OF THEREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" The lunatic cultist got enraged after hearing their pacific talk behind the shield, and started releasing even more magic power than before.

Three giant structures made of ice with spikes sprouting from all their body appeared floating in the middle of the sky. And soon dozens and dozens of giant spikes started being fired in the direction of the wooden shield covering both of them.

"Tch... this guy is so annoying... I can't be wasting my time with you!!"

A giant blade of wood suddenly sprouted from the shield and pierced slightly the body of the Lunatic cultist, before it got melted right away by a giant fireball that appeared in front of the Lunatic cultist.

With no more option but to move away from the incoming attack, the Dryad and Aspen moved at fast speed and prepared themselves to counterattack.

"Hey tell me, how are you able to take control of those plants inside the ground even though they are so deep?" 

"I just use my mana to expand slightly my sensory range, and then I take control of them by using my connection to nature"

Aspen, that pondered for a little after hearing the dryad's response, turned to look once again into the crazed eyes of the Lunatic cultist in order to make sure of some things.
